    Worth it!
Amazing museums and easy enough getting the tickets with the company and getting into the museum! It was great! Must visit for sure. The skip the line is definitely worth it!

    Excellent tour.
Private tour of Pitti Palace. Guide was very knowledgeable and connected the dotes between other Medici palaces. Focused on progression of art.

Glad we paid for a guide!
Our guide was really well educated and informative. We learned a lot from him which helped us understand so much more than had we done it on our own.

    Great guide and small groups
The visit was great. A small group of 6 and a guide with excellent explanations to understand the evolution in painting techniques. Despite a crowdy museum, she give us time to admire the master pieces at our own rythm.

Deliberate selling a service they don’t offer
We bought a “skip the queue with escorted entrance”. This is absolutely not what we got. The office around the corner just printed our tickets and said go to Entrance 1. The reason this is a 1 star is that they do not provide an escort - they made us do it alone and this meant joining the queue like all other timed entrance tickets. Save your money and buy directly from the museum for a timed slot. That is exactly the same service but half the price. DO NOT let them scare you by saying you would have to join entrance 3 to collect your tickets. That’s simply not true! Like all people nowadays you would opt to collect your ticket online on your phone which work perfectly well at entrance 1. Complete con! Either do full guided or buy yourself. This “skip the queue” ticket is nonsense

    Not a tour
Not a tour at all. Collect a ticket from the tour company office and that’s all. Nothing about skipping the queue. Only gave you instructions to enter through gate 1.

    A delicious taste of Florence
Giorgio was an excellent tour guide. Walking through parts of Florence and tasting a variety of foods, we were able to learn about the history and foods of Florence. Included are the market for fruits, vegetables and meats and cheeses. Street foods and pasta as well as a platter of meats and cheeses. Very educational and interesting.

    Palace is amazing!
This is not a guided tour! We arrived at the designated office on our arrival time of 10:30 to be told that we had to wait for her “colleague to come with the skip the line passes”. After waiting a few minutes she said let’s go. We walked with her a block, then waited another 10-15 min on the sidewalk for her return with the passes. Then we walked by ourselves across the Ponte Vecchio to the palace. We suggest you get to the palace early, buy your own tickets, rent the audio guide from the museum, and plan to spend at least half a day to fully enjoy. And don’t forget the gardens! Don’t buy food at their little cafe, prices are ridiculous and you will get cold coffee.

    Florence museums
We had an amazing tour of the two most important museums in Florence. The history behind every corner was so well and easily explained that it only makes you want to come back to Florence and learn more. We loved our Spanish guide!

    Waste of money
First review I’ve ever made, but this was a frustrating experience. Hard to find the office very little help, a lot of attitude, and no guidance on the process. Booked a combined ticket but was not told in advance we needed to be at the second spot by a specific time, then yelled at. Next time I would just pay at ticket office and go directly.

    Perfect experience
Perfect experience that was worth every penny. As someone with no art history background, it was incredibly valuable to have an expert to guide us through and weave the different exhibits together in a cohesive story. The cut the line was also very useful as well.

Remember the name of your guide - especially if they're great!
My wife and I took this tour on our first full day in Italy - Firenze to be exact. The weather was rainy but it didn't dampen our spirits. The tour guide was a lovely woman whose name we didn't get and we have kicked ourselves for not knowing it. She led the English tour on October 16 at noon if anyone in the tour office reads this review. She was great and very informative about both galleries. That was something we discovered about the guided tours - they zeroed in on the most popular stuff but would entertain specific requests if possible. The sheer volume of art in all forms is overwhelming in Italy and guides are essential. Worth paying for and if you have a good conversationist as we did, we were doubly lucky.

Book it, you won’t be disappointed.
Silvia, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot from her. If we had not done this tour we would have missed out on important information about the art pieces.

This review is strictly about il Mercado Centrale di Firenze. To visit this market I would suggest not doing a tour. Entrance into the market is free and there are a variety of choices for food and dessert, as well as a bar area to purchase beverages. The place can be crowded but is a good place for a decen meal at a reasonable price.

The place was crowded with tourist. Ordered Beef Florentine 1,5kg €85 the quality of the meat was very ordinary and disappointing. The Pizza €18 tasted better. Tried the Tuscan rustic tripe served with bread €8 and the taste was nice. The vegetarian Greek salad was nice.
