We had a very nice tour with Martina through the historic centre of Florence. After providing us with a detailed but compact backdrop of historic facts (e.g. Medici family, city origins), she guided us to the main sights of the city. With her humorous and competent manner she gave us exciting information about the history and architecture of Florence, but also all kinds of recommendations regarding lifestyle and good local food. We joined various free walking tours at many places, and this one was certainly among the best! Moreover, Martina suggested many excellent restaurants, bars, and gelaterias. In sum, a very recommendable tour to be done at best at the first day.

Manuel brought to life Rensissance Florence like we couldn't have imagined. He packed the 2 hours with the most interesting details which are visible all around the heart of the city but which we would never have noticed or understood without his insights. A fantastic way to kick start a visit to Florence.

Manuel Messina was our guide for a magnificent walking tour in Florence. Absolutely, it was a professional tour with a twist of small details that create an almost unique fairy tale of Florence's history. We were following his narration, literally by not missing a single word.

Our guide was excellent - maneuvered unobtrusively up close to every important landmark, painting, statue. The David was our own personal awe moment! The Uffizi Gallery was massive, but our guide took us through seamlessly, informing with so much enthusiasm! The walking tour oriented us for later, and the crowds seemed secondhand because of our guide’s expertise in skipping the lines and mobs! Well worth the money!

Our guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Not sure we learned enough to justify the cost of the tour but it was very nice having someone point out multiple different statues and buildings and explain what they were and the historical relevance. The pace could have been a bit quicker as it was a lot of stopping and talking as opposed to walking and talking.

It was such a lovely tour! I'd been to Florence before but now with Manuel I could see the city in a completely different way, learning about its hidden gems and great personnalities. Manuel is very knowledgeable and has a unique way of drawing your attention to details that otherwise would go unnoticed and which tell the story of this beautiful city. Fully recommended!

This was the perfect way to start our stay in Florence. Our guide was Manuel, and he gave us a whole new perspective on the city: the stories of the Medici family; a look at daily life in Medieval and Renaissance Florence; how that history influences the Florence of today. We've continued to reference things that Manuel told us, and we're spotting those historical throughlines around every corner. This will be one of the highlights of our trip.

The tour operator, Manuel, is gentle and really passionate and knows exactly how to fascinate all those who take part to his tours with beautiful and interesting insights and explanations about Florence’s history. He is always available to interact with them and to reply to al their queries modulating his tour based on them. The tour takes two hours but I would have spent at least other two listening him. Very much recommended.
