Best Tour On Our Italy Trip
The bike tour was everything that I hoped and more. The scenery was beautiful, the guides were knowledgeable. The castle and winery tour was educational and fun. The views from the castle were amazing. Angus was patient with our adult autistic son who loves biking, but didn't know how to use the brakes. Angus taught him how to brake and guided him on the steep hills. Safety was the #1 priority with both Angus and Ben who followed in the van.

Wonderful day with Ben cycling in Tuscany!!!
I have a fantastic time from when arriving at the shop and Ben always advised me when he had to communicate something as your safety is very important!!! I was very lucky to have Ben on this bike tour through the Tuscany hills and was very patient with my riding level. Every question was answered with enthusiasm. There was a wine tasting. A beautiful local lunch and wine!!! Also a desert wine. We also met Alessio who did also answer my questions about Italy!!! Very friendly as well!!! Thanks for the lovely day!!!

    Cycling in beautiful Tuscany.
We had the BEST day cycling through the beautiful vineyards and olive groves of the Chianti region in Tuscany. The whole trip was very well organised from start to finish and we had the best guide (Angus) who looked after everyone in the group. The ride was easy - apart from the killer hill near the end!! If you're not keen to take that on, there's a support van at the ready to transport you & your bike up the hill. Finished at a beautiful family owned vineyard for lunch and then were transported back into Florence by van. Thoroughly recommend!!

    Highlight of our Tuscany trip
Excellent, good-natured guides who seem to be having as much fun as the guests. Scenery was incredible throughout. Ride was perfect for experienced or semi-experienced riders. That last hill was a doozy! (Folks could take the van if they didn't want to brave it.) This was the highlight of our Tuscany trip.

Don’t second guess, just do this tour!!
This trip was absolutely fantastic! The ride through the countryside was something not to be soon forgotten. We watched as grapes were harvested for the local wine, and after a nice ride, we were treated to regional wine, olive oil, and pasta for a nice lunch. There is one big hill on the ride, but if I can drag my 55 year old butt up this hill, so can you!! 😀. The tour guide Angus was highly knowledgeable about the area and the wine, plus he ensured all were safe through the ride. There is a sag wagon van that is always handy if there are problems, so never any worries!

Tuscany Bike Tours is an awesome experience. Very well organized, knowledgeable, friendly and supportive guides, scenic ride and an absolutely amazing lunch and wine tasting experience. The food and wine was delicious, the friendly, social atmosphere of sharing an experience and a meal with other travellers was truly a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Tuscany Bike Tours.

    Chianti region bike ride
Excellent bike ride through Chianti region. The views were spectacular and history of the family who has lived in the castle since 1099 was interesting to learn about. Also the wine and olive oil tasting was delicious and I highly recommend this excursion!

    Cycling and wine tasting
It was fantastic!!! The guide Angus was knowledgeable, caring, hardworking. The safety van was nearby at all times ready to assist. There were three guys supporting each other to take care of us. We lucked out for a two-hour window of no rain for the ride. The wine tasting and lunch were fabulous. We tasted three wine, and decided to purchase 6 bottles to be shipped home.

    Fantastic Chianti Bike Tour!
Beautiful views, our tour guide “Ben” was very friendly and gentle. I can give it a rating of 10 out of 10 The bike ride was very nice with one challenging hill. To improve: lighter bikes with more gears and a minimum ride should be 20 miles long for me was tiny short to appreciate the beautiful hills and views a little more. The food, wine and olive at the Azienda Agricola Ammirabile was great, something to improve a little bit more protein in the lunch. People there very kind. In conclusion, Tuscany is and will always be a wonderful place to visit!!

Escape the city for a Tuscany adventure
Absolutely loved this experience. You cannot beat the scenery and the warmth of the tour guides. The tour starts in the city and then the tour guide takes you to a thousand year old castle (I know!). The scenario going there and while there is amazing. Then we start to bike (I had a wobbly start but the tour guide is very patient). We got to learn about the history of the area and the flora (I know about olive trees, florentine evergreens, chestnuts, etc.). Most of the bike ride is downhill which is nice and easy. There is a semi flat road of 5km near the end (which my husband loved). At the end of it there is a respectable hill. Don’t want to do it? That’s ok! They have someone to take you up the hill (I did that bc that hill is something else!). Then more downhill and boom! We are back in the castle. We then got a ride to a family vineyard and got some amazing food with some delicious wines. We all get a little buzzy and then come back to the city! Loved it. I am so glad this was recommended (thanks TripAdvisor!)

A great way to see the countryside while in Florence (and try some great food and wine)
My girlfriend and I both had a great time on this tour! Our guide, Ben, was wonderful, and the scenery on the ride is incredible. The lunch portion was also amazing.

    Best day of our trip!
This was the best day of our trip! Even though it’s hot in August, the breeze from biking and being in the country side (and using a e-bike!) made everything bearable. Angus was a great guide. He was helpful, kind and communicative. We had the most delicious (vegetarian requested) lunch at a farm house and the hosts were incredible. This trip was a great way to exercise and tour at the same time! Highly recommend!

An excellent trip, organised by a friendly and professional team - thanks go especially to Angus. The cycle ride was the perfect length for a hot day. The lunch at the castle was a perfect end to the trip. I whole-heartedly recommend!
