Tomasso wow what a man! The day started glorious, we got picked up in a well air conditioned vehicle, comfortable, relaxed on a swift journey to our first vineyard. Words don't do this place justice, the food and wine was excellent but what really stood out was Tomasso's knowledge and his friendliness. We then voyaged to the second vineyard - I instantly felt welcomed and the tour and wine were superb! I recommend a bottle of the Luvabianca #2023. I couldn't recommend this enough, along with Tommasso. This tour offers a great insight to life on the vineyards in Lucca. The day left me feeling that i had found another family in Tuscany 🇮🇹

Tommaso was so welcoming and friendly, I learnt so much about the wine making process in Tuscany. The vineyard was so pretty and loved trying the wine and local food within the actual vineyard.

Tommaso and Marco tailored a trip specifically for our 11-person group, with round-trip transportation from our villa. The trip to the wineries was enriched by interesting commentary from our friendly tour guides and beautiful views. The wineries were different and both fascinating for their own reasons, but the best part was the open-air Tuscan lunch! By the end of the day, I felt like we were all family. I would do another trip with this team in a heartbeat! Thank you, Tommaso and Marco!

Great tour with Raffaele as our tour guide. The tour of the marble caves was really interesting and then we visited Colonnata. This is a beautiful mountain village and Raffaele advised were to go to lunch and it was beautiful. It was a really good tour and on the day we went it was just my husband and I. Raffaele imparted so much information and made the day really memorable.

Our group of seven ladies had an amazing week in Lucca and Autoservizi DBTuscany helped to make our vacation truly memorable! From the time that we initially reached out to Tomasso to plan our transfers and a variety of beautiful local tours, to enjoying every tour once we arrived, the service exceeded our expectations. Tomasso, Marco and Raffaele were incredibly kind, very knowledgeable, offered great suggestions, and were so helpful. Our tour with Marco to Cinque Terre was perfect. He suggested an itinerary that he thought we would enjoy (which we followed!) and it made for a great day. Our Bolgheri wine tour with Raffaele was wonderful and fun. He shared so much history and local details with us—we loved it! Our tour of Lucca and a visit to Pisa with Tomasso made for another memorable day, which we wrapped up with a special treat that Tomasso had planned for us—a wine tasting and a delicious meal at a beautiful farmhouse and vineyard in the hills of Lucca. The views were breathtaking and the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. We were thrilled with Tomasso’s suggestion! If our vacation was longer, we would have liked to explore more places with Autoservizi DBTuscany. We can’t wait to return someday! When we do, we will absolutely look to our friends at Autoservizi DBTuscany to help us make more special memories in beautiful Tuscany.

Over the course of my life, I've had the good fortune to travel to many beautiful and unique places, but our trip to Lucca, and Pisa was the first time I've used a personal tour guide.Out of all of my vacations and travels, the day with Raphael and Autoservizi DBTuscany is the single best day I've had. The thoughtfulness, pride, joy and love Raphael has for Lucca and it's surrounding areas is palpable. The time and care he took with our group was the same, we were not simply customers, we were family. I'd never heard of Lucca prior to our day trip and I had no expectations, I figured we'd stop, look at some churches, go to a winery and then Pisa is where we'd spend our time... Now I've searched real estate every day in Lucca since I've been home, have reached out to the local football club and have already ordered wine from Fratelli Urbani winery. Living in and around the Chicago area my entire life, I've been been more than spoiled with exposure to world class food, sports (though not of late), art, museums, architecture, etc... so maybe I've become a bit jaded, but our day with ADBT was a reality check of all the simplicity and beauty that still exists in the world.; stunning really. I am sure that I would have enjoyed my day with whomever was leading the tour, but Raphael was exceptional.When/if he ever visits the States, I'd love for my family to meet him, and take him around, show. If I were to do a fraction of the job he did, taking care of my family, our time would be successful. Lucca is everything you'd dream a small, quintessential Italian town would be, Fratelli Urbani winery was the third best meal I've ever had (my mom was from the "back of the yards" southside Polish and knew how to cook), and our time in Pisa was everything we expected it to be. There are no regrets with this trip. We can't wait to go back. It's also entirely possible that Lucchese drinking water is better than Chicago!

Just phenomenal! We hired Autoservizi for our full week in Lucca, Tuscany. I worked with Tommaso early on to design the schedule and understand pricing. Tommaso, Rafa, and Marco were the best. They were reliable, accommodating, helpful, kind, fun, responsive if any changes needed to be made, and their vehicles were safe and clean and had strong air conditioning. Also their pricing was reasonable. We used them for everything from roundtrip rides to Florence airport, pick in Bologna, roundtrip rides to Florence, multiple rides to Lucca, San Gimignano, and Cinque Terre. They also organized wine tasting where we visited 2 wineries — good wine, good food - it was the best time! Also, last minute my flight changed and they were so helpful and accommodating changing their schedule to take me to the Florence airport. I highly recommend Autoservizi and would definitely use them again!

Couldn’t recommend this tour any more highly! The tour of Lucca was fascinating and the trip to the winery was just perfect, and we still got to Pisa to see the leaning tower. Also the guides were wonderful!

We had a great day at Volterra and the salt mine yesterday. Raphaeli collected us from outside our hotel in the morning and he was so nice and really got to know us well. He was interested in our holiday and was excited to share the day with us. His van was very comfortable and extremely clean. His stories of the local area and history were excellent. In the town of Volterra we had a great tour and some free time to explore. I also liked how Raphaeli asked us about our adventures afterwards. Then we went to the salt mine where we were met with an enthusiastic guide and it was nice that Raphaeli joined us on this tour. Then we had a very nice chilled trip back to the hotel and prepared for our Carrara trip the following day. Thanks again!!

We had a lovely family tour today with Raphaeli. He collected us with a smile this morning from our hotel. His knowledge of all areas that we drove through was fantastic and his enthusiasm for all places was clear. He made us all feel at ease and it was a lovely chilled out trip. During our trip inside the Carrara mountain he spoke to all the staff like friends and he recommended good picture spots for us. We also visited Colonnata where we had a tasty lunch and he recommended the local meat which was fab. Thanks again for a fantastic day!!

Our group had a wonderful experience with Raffaele. Made our trip to Cinque Terre relaxed and enjoyable. He had heaps of knowledge to impart upon us and time went so fast! Couldn’t recommend it highly enough

We had an incredible day with Tommaso as our tour guide to Carrara's query. It was the perfect blend of adventure, history, and local experience. With an on-time pick up in a beautiful and extremely clean van, Tommaso was an excellent driver who was intentional about getting to know each of us on the tour. The views on the way to the mountain were amazing, and the inside of the Carrara mountain was a once-in-a-lifetime experience you do not want to miss out on. OF COURSE, this quest is not complete without fresh food. Tommaso brought us to a very local lunch spot in Colonnata, which is famous for lardo! Wonderful conversation over lunch with the freshest foods and great wine! Tommaso ensures that your tour is personal and authentically Italian. If you visit Italy, you MUST book with the best tour service and friend in Lucca!!

Tommaso and Raffaele were great guides. They worked with our group of 14 plus people and took care of our every requests. From taking our group of 22 for a wine tour to a group of 8 to Saturnia Hot Springs. Nothing was impossible for them. I would highly recommend their company for all your travel needs.

Thomaso Della Bida, (spelling?) was such a charming, host and tour guide. A wealth of information. So pleasant and engaging. He did not overwhelm us but engaged us with friendly discussions. From start to finish the tour exceeded our expectations. Our guide went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. I am a stone sculptor myself, so for me, it was like a pilgrimage to visit Carrara. The cave itself was magnificent beyond comprehension. I can go on and on, but just to say yes, definitely book this tour.
