      Palio exploring!
We thought the Polaroid camera tour sounded fun and something different for our tweens. The shop to collect the pack was just next to the Duomo, easy to find and open 10-6pm. The souvenir book was lovely to keep with lots of info and facts to read. Being a pre-Palio day, the streets were full of contrado celebrations, flag displays and singing. The atmosphere was amazing. Memorable day!

      Unique and fun experience!
We did a 2 week trip around Italy and this was one of our highlights. A very simple and unique idea for a self-guided tour of Siena that I was so glad got recommended to me by a work colleague. The photo album and book that you get to keep is lovely and has lots of interesting commentary and something worthy of keeping safe when you get home. The tour was easy to follow and we nearly got through it all in half a day, so would recommend starting a little earlier than lunchtime if you can. We went with 20 photos so we could go rogue with a few extra photos. We hadn't used a Polaroid camera before, but quickly got the hang of it, and finding out was part of the fun! We've now got some lovely photos and an album from our day that we'll cherish, and something different from just going through your photo reel on your phone. I'd highly recommend this tour!

      Amazing experience with kids
We spent the whole day with our kids (6 and 8yo) exploring Siena and it was a fantastic experience. The map steered us away from the crowds and kept the kids engaged for almost 7 hours. We could not have asked for more!

      Fun experience with our family
This was a really neat idea. However, lots of walking with small children (7, 7 and 4). We didn’t get close to finishing the 17 animals, maybe reached 11. We took about 4.5 hours including a stop for lunch. It was a great entertaining way to see the city and the kids loved taking the pictures so I would recommend for a creative way to see Siena!

      Great fun
We enjoyed this experience. Our 6 year old, loved the idea of finding the animals and taking pictures. It took us a lot longer than 2:30 to get to see all 17 animals. It also took us to parts of Siena that we would not have seen.

Great Way to See All of Siena
My family really enjoyed our tour of Siena. It brought us all over the city, even to parts we never would have visited. The picture element of the tour was very fun and left us with a great souvenir of our trip.

      Amazing Family Experience
My family LOVED this experience!!! I have older kids (15 and 11) and we’ve been to Siena a few times but this is the first time we found and saw all the contrada! We loved walking around town at our own pace and collect photos of all the statues, signs, etc. TRULY a unique experience that we’ll always remember. Plus my kids still love picking out their favorite contrada.

      Fantastic concept! Loved it!
Before we visited Siena, a colleague highly recommended your shop and tours. The tour was fantastic! This way we had the chance to visit the more quiet places in Siena. Our boys loved it and walked around proudly with the camera on their chest. It would be great if you would also start this concept in other cities! We loved it! An amazing birthday party! 10 delighted 10 year olds
I can highly recommend Polaroad as a different way of discovering a city, for both occasional visitors and residents. We had a wonderful children's craft workshop there as the kids created their albums and a lovely memento of the experience... very educational on all levels, especially for digital natives.

      Secrets of Siena Let Slip!
I cannot recommend these tours, and a short visit to this quaint little store so centrally located, enough :) We did the Siena Treasure Hunt, which is a children's version of the top 10 tour, and it was an absolute delight! We got to witness parts of the city which are both popular, and yet have secrets of their own which one gets to discover during the PolaTour. It was an exhilarating experience being in Siena during the Palio, which is a spectacle in itself, but to get to see nooks and corners of the city while walking, and learning about the history, culture and traditions of this incredible city was a very pleasurable experience. The team give you a bag with a polaroid camera, a guidebook, a map and some stickers to attach your photographs to the guidebook (all of which you get to keep, except the camera of course :)). The graphics on both the guidebook and the map are very artistic and brilliant! While some of the questions in the guidebook quizzes are a little harder than others, there is enough material to keep everybody challenged and stimulated! Don't forget to wear comfortable walking shoes, and carry a hat and sunglasses on a hot day, because this tour will take you around the breadth of the city centre! The best part of the tour are the little polaroid photographs you can take to capture your memories, even if sometimes some of them don't turn out that well ;) The moment when the photograph is printing from the camera is so intense, as you wait to find out how the photo turned out :) It definitely makes you more prudent in photographing when you can only use a certain number of photographs, and in some ways that is the highlight of the tour, saving those precious moments that will make you remember your trip and all that you saw and experienced! All-in-all, I would totally recommend this tour to anybody who has a few hours in Siena and would like to spend them wisely!

Amazing and unconventional tour to get to know Siena
Normally my friends and I never take tours. We prefer to explore the city ourselves. We stumbled upon this shop by excitant and took Polaroid tour and it was the best decision ever! Totally worse it. Siena is a very interesting city and this tour is like a treasure hunt! Super interesting and entertaining content plus memories for life with instant pictures! Highly highly recommended :)

      Real Memories
We discover the Polatour just by chance, we casually ended up in Giulia’s shop and immediately got catch by the idea, for just 30€ you will get a super nice itinerary of Siena with the main attractions to visit, a cool album full of curiosities about the places you will visit and a Polaroid camera to catch the best moment of the tour. It has been a really fun and different experience; we had forgotten the feeling to see the photo coming out of the camera like in the old days and have it printed, something that for sure will last more than the 100 photos we usually take with the smartphone and then never look at them again. I suggest to take more than the standard 10 camera shots, you will run out of them quickly 😉

New way of being a tourist!
I was in Siena with my nephew (8 years old) and had heard about Polaroad as something fun to do with kids as well. Wanted to try it out, to see if my nephew could enjoy visiting such a pretty city a little more. Once you get to the tiny cute store, the girls told me about the polatour with a treasure hunt for kids. Here's how it works: - you get a cute booklet that will guide you and your kid through the nicest spots of Siena. - you get a polaroid camera, either standard or kid version (that's the one we got, shaped as a mignon from despicable me). Super easy to use - Inside the book, you find infos about each spot, told as a story. Other than that, you have riddles to solve and spots to attach your polaroid pics on. You get to keep the book afterwards - you can see the guide in the picture I attached. - you also get a map to guide you to each place, and a bag - you get to keep both All in all, it was a really fun and different experience! My nephew really enjoyed taking the pics - he was thrilled with the photo coming out of the camera!! - and strolling through siena while hunting for the next treasure. Definitely something different for him as well :) I hope they start doing something like that in other cities too! Would be really cool :)

      Great experience!
This is definitely the best tour I've ever had in Siena! The experience was great, and without any doubt the most amazing and entertaining you can ever have! You see Siena from another perspective, something not possible with a classical guided tour. I'm not a great photographer but this tour is designed for both beginners and experienced ones! The girls are extremely nice and friendly! They are really passionate and willing to help you! I would definitely recommend a #Polatour!

We took this tour with two children aged 7 and 4.
My older daughter was thrilled to discover the hidden treasures and solve the proposed riddles. We took the camera with 20 shots, because there was actually more than one thing to photograph for each place.
Obviously you walk a lot and some places (like the Basilica dei Servi and the Medici fortress, which we didn't film inside because it was too hot) are really too far away.
So maybe I would suggest finding a couple of attractions closer, considering it is a children's tour. Furthermore, I would recommend indicating that you can go up the escalators from Fontebranda, because we didn't realize it and it was quite a hike.
Overall, a beautiful tour (I saw things I had never seen, despite having been to Siena other times), but definitely take into account more than 2 hours of visit

Going on a treasure hunt was a very fun way to discover Siena. We got to see several places we otherwise never ended up and at the same time learn a little more about the city and its history. It is fun to have the book with the little Polaroid pictures as a memento of a great day. It might be worth bearing in mind that it takes quite a while to get around to all the 10 locations. We were two adults with good fitness and pretty much used to map reading and for us it took about five hours (with food and coffee stops)

The polaroid experience made seeing the sites of Sienna even more fun. I liked the clues and a few things to discover that were not very well known. For instance, we had to find etchings on the side of the wall.

Then we have a fun book afterwards with the history and our pictures.

Having two days planned in Siena, I found an article online that told about this experience of visiting Siena.
I contacted the owners of the shop and we agreed to collect the polaroid. In some periods you need to book because the shop is not always open. The girls were very helpful and we left with our. treasure hunt in Siena.
I think my 7 year old son had a very rich experience. The book with his photos will remain as a souvenir.
Thank you so much to these wonderful girls!!!

Very nice experience. This one is more suitable for kids. But they have an adult version and other itineraries. If you have your own instax/ Polaroid camera just buy the pack with 10 pictures and complement with your camera. Or take pictures with your phone and print them on mini link to fill the album.
