About
After driving along the Lake Geneva, you will have a scenic drive through the swiss countryside full of wooden chalets and nature. Immediate embarcation aboard the cable car for a flight over the snow-capped summits. Ascent by cable-car from the Diablerets to the Glacier (3000m or 10'000ft). Be breathtaking walking on the suspended bridge, it’s unique bridge connecting 2 peaks in the world! Take a chair lift and have some fun in the fun park with the sledges. Feel a unique experience on a spectacular day! Lunch at the panoramic restaurant, work of the architect Mario Botta, who designed the San Francisco Museum of Art. Then discover the famous town of Montreux. Because of the exceptionally mild climate Montreux is called the capital of the Vaud Riviera. Plants associated with the Mediterranean, such as pines, cypresses and palm trees grow here. Charlie Chaplin, Freddie Mercury and several other famous people of world-renown lived and continue to live on this area.

What to expect
  • Depart central Geneva by air-conditioned bus and drive along the shores of Lake Geneva. Pass the Col du Pillon valley and visit Les Diablerets, a charming mountain village at 4,000 feet (1,200 meters). Then, ride the cable car up and over the snow-capped peaks to Glacier 3000 (if option selected), an icy wonderland that's covered in snow all year round, making it a paradise for adventure and outdoor enthusiasts. On arrival at 10,000 feet (3,000 meters), drink in the 360-degree panoramas over the surrounding peaks, including the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, and Matterhorn, and get time to enjoy the activities on offer. Follow the signposted Glacier Walk trail, and step across the Peak Walk by Tissot, a suspension bridge connecting two peaks (if option selected). Cross this unique, 350-foot (107-meter) bridge and soak in the far-reaching Alpine mountainscapes. To up the fun, enjoy the Alpine Coaster (additional cost and subject to availability), the world’s highest toboggan run; and ride the Snow Bus (additional cost), traveling over the crisp ice and snow. If you wish, refuel with lunch (own expense) enjoying incredible mountain panoramas as you eat. Later, descend and drive to Montreux, a glamorous resort on Lake Geneva, famous for its jazz festival and palms, pines, and exotic flowers—all products of its unique micro-climate. Enjoy free time to explore the elegant town, once favored by famous figures like Lord Byron, Charlie Chaplin, and Freddie Mercury. Browse the upscale shops, snap photos of the famous Freddie Mercury statue or, if you wish, visit Queen: The Studio Experience, the studios used by the band between 1979 and 1996. Your trip then finishes with a drop-off at the start point in Geneva.

DO NOT BOOK!! I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK!
I booked Keytour for my birthday trip and they were supposed to pick me up at my hotel. I call them in 15 minutes before my pickup time to ensure that everything is good and they say they don’t have me down for pickup and that the tour has left without me. I said that time was 8:15 how could they have left already and even though it wasn’t my fault I said I will uber somewhere cause this was the only plan I had for my birthday the lady was very unapologetic and said she can’t do anything and the tour has left already. I said my plans will be ruined and she didn’t care. I said I will leave a strongly worded review she said sure thank you go ahead. She really did not care. Viator still tried to help me out, but the Keytour company didn’t care at all. I am so disappointed and in tears. They ruined my day. I am leaving for Paris tomorrow and this was my only chance. Take my advice and stay away from them I wouldn’t have felt this bad if there was any remorse, but no they just didn’t care like customers don’t matter to them at all. Avoid them at all cost.

Good morning, We are very sorry you felt disapointed. specially on your birthday. The reservation was booked from Geneva bus station and not from a hotel. 8h15 is the departure time from the bus station, if you book a hotel pick up it's 30 minutes before but you have to click on the option. When the bus is already on the highway for the Glacier 3000. it's not possible to return. However, we proposed a later mountain tour to Chamonix which was an alternative. Again we are very sorry for the misunderstanding.

My mom and I went on this and had a great time. Our guide, Zed, was great, very nice and helpful. There were only 4 of us so he took us to see a castle that wasn't on the tour. The bus was very comfortable with huge windows. The views were amazing, and I enjoyed the coaster. Only drawback is it was quite expensive, and I wish we had more time in Montreaux.

My wife, daughter and I decided to check out this delightful tour from Geneva. The coach was clean, comfortable and COVID free. Our driver, Tom was the best / driver tour guide we have ever experienced in over three decades of traveling internationally. The drive is absolutely beautiful and Tom is extremely well traveled and is full of helpful information about Switzerland. He pointed out numerous gems of information about Switzerland. Glacier 3000 was a wonderful experience. The views from the top were breathtaking and the walk across the peaks was a thrill none of us will ever forget. The alpine coaster is the highest in the world and so much fun you don’t want to do anything else. Tom escorted us along the way and gave us all tips on how to speed up and slow down. We all got to walk on the glacier and take lots of great photos. We dined at the top restaurant and the food was one of the best meals we have had during our journey through Switzerland. Staff at this restaurant was super friendly, spoke good English and were very efficient. Our return trip through Montreux was beautiful. Lake Geneva, architecture and artwork along the lake front, including the Eddie Mercury statue was well worth the trip. I now understand why Audrey Hepburn and Queen loved this part of the world so much. This is an amazing day trip that we highly recommend to anyone visiting the region. We would give it five stars, but since Tom went out of his way to make it extra special, we are giving it five star plus, plus and a big Roll Tide!

Booked this trip through trip advisor and went with Key Swiss Tours and tour guide Zsolt (Z) on 01/01/2020.

This trip was a unique and amazing experience with something for everyone.

Starting of with a very peaceful and comfortable drive up to the Glacier 3000. Once there you can wake the bridge and enjoy lunch with a breath taking view, for a more relaxed trip. Or you can walk the glacier, go dog sledding and tobogganing for a more active experience.

Z was a very informative and supportive tour guide. Offering advice and great insight to the day trip and other activities within the area. Helping me with the rest of my trip to Switzerland. He was very friendly and welcoming. As a solo traveller I really appreciated this.

The tour guy (Evan) was great, helpful and did his best to make the trip very comfortable..

Montrerux is a very nice city but unfortunately we had a short time to spend their especially that the xmas market was very beautiful..

Dishonest. Disingenuous. At best, they haven’t kept their adverts updated, at worst straight up false advertising.
