What to expect
  • Make your own way to the Titlis valley station in Engelberg to board the 8-seater cable car with your ticket. Soak in the views as you glide up to 8,038 feet (2,450 meters) of altitude. Then transfer to the TITLIS Rotair to complete your journey to the summit station. From there, choose from a variety of activities: TITLIS Cliff Walk: The highest suspension bridge in Europe is located on the mountain at 9,971 feet (3,041 meters) above sea level. Walking across the bridge takes nerves of steel, and is free of charge (may be closed in bad weather). The bridge spans a chasm at 1,640 feet (500 meters) off the ground.  Glacier Cave: The ice-lined glacier cave features a 495-foot (150-meter) walkway that goes 65 feet (20 meters) below the surface of the glacier and branches out in several directions. Entrance to the cave is free of charge. Ice Flyer: The Ice Flyer chairlift covers the distance from the mountain station to the snow park, gliding above snowfields and icy crevasses that can measure up to 33 feet (ten meters) deep. Glacier Park: Enjoy fun snow activities at the glacier snow park. Ride down the slopes on snow tubes tires, balancers, snake gliss, or mini bobs then ascend again easily on the conveyor belt. Shops: Browse mountain souvenirs or pick up Swiss chocolate in one of the shops at the station on Mt. Titlis. Trübsee: Make a stop at the station Trübsee to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Swiss Alps. You can even paddle across the lake by rowboat.

Very nice
Sep 2021
It is an amazing experience going to the top and enjoying the rotatory funicular. Cashier people are very friendly, can't say the same of the employee at the loading bay at the base, what a bad mood! Directions at the top are not clear, going to the cliff walk, is not clear and you may finish in a second platform that is not different from the one outside the building and that is very slippery to go. Ice cave is slippery too,

Great fun day in Swiss alps

I thoroughly enjoyed it - not too many visitors. The mountain cliff walk was a delight. I was disappointed that the ice flyer and zip lining was shut due to poor weather. I got to see plenty of snow. It was great fun

Good as a tourist spot, but not a top ski resort
Mar 2020
Went I went there the weather was not very good (lots of clouds and wind).
My interest was to do ski, but the conditions were not good and the resort is quite small.

As it was too windy when I get onto the mountain, I cannot experience the ice flyer, but the whole experience was amazing, very cold and very windy. Got some stunning picture at the cliff bridge!

Top of Europe
Feb 2020 • Family
Due to landing in Zurich on a clear sunny day we decided to visit Mt Titlis on the way to our accommodation in Lauterbrunnen. It was expensive, but the views were amazing once at the top. We stayed at the top for about 4-5 hours (2 adults, 11 and 8 year old) admiring the views, going on the ice flyer chair lift, exploring the (small) ice cave, buying far too much Swiss chocolate, having lunch with amazing views and playing in the snow. The cable car journeys up and down were also great. Towards the end of our time up the mountain it started snowing and the view very quickly disappeared. With the cost definitely make sure you have a clear day before making this trip as otherwise you will be very disappointed.

Great views
Feb 2020
We took the train from Zurich via Lucerne to Engelberg. Then up to 10,000 feet with the gondolas. No problems whatsoever, you really don’t need to pay extra money and spend extra hours going with some tourbuses. The view from 3000 mtrs is just amazong. Before you go, please check the weatherreport, if it’s snowing or cloudy you don’t necessarily see anything.

Visit to Titlis Mountain
Dec 2019
My partner and I visited Titlis a few weeks ago, and I have to say it was worth the money. I know it seems pricey (everything here is) but if you have never been to the summit of a high mountain before its breathtaking. The views are incredible. Personally I am scared to death of heights but at no time did it seem unsafe in any way.
The first cable car takes you to a stop off point, (where there are lots of younger skiers learning, and abar/restaurant etc) and then you change onto the rotair car to take you up to the peak.
At the top there is a cafe and a restaurant, as well as an indoor picnic room so you can still enjoy the vies while eating your packed lunch ( Which i recommend by the way as it can be incredibly busy in the restaurant/cafe as well as expensive). There is a cave made of ice you can walk through and a metal bridge which isnt as bad as it sounds.
It can be extremely busy so be prepared to do a lot of waiting for the cable cars because all the skiers use them too. It is well worth the wait and the trip back down is much quicker.
All in all, brilliant day out and would highly recommend.

Mount Titlis Experience
Jan 2020
We have been to various Ski Resorts around the world , but this was different. Rotair for example. Then we had several Indian attractions (we were from India) such as a pic with a cutout from super hit Indian movie (Dilwale Dulhania ...), topping it up with snacks at an Indian "Chat" stall there. The photo taken at the studio there with te Swiss traditional dress was a super takeaway .
