Great way to spend a day
Best part of the trip to Interlaken. Didn’t do the guided tour but they were able to provide a map and directions on where to go. From Interlaken we rode up past Lauterbrunen and enjoyed the valley sites, views, and paragliding that was going on. Fairly easy to navigate from the provided map and the bikes were great. Easy to ride and very comfortable. We chose the comfort ones and they worked without a problem. Not sure you need a mountain bike as the roads are either paved or graveled.

Flying Wheels gives a great tour
Great way to experience the area around Interlaken. Jorge did. an excellent job sharing the history of the development of the region and about Swiss culture as well. Educational and fun and beautiful views to spare! The e-bikes were great and easy to ride. Much less tiring than a walking tour.

Ride definitely worth the time and money
Great way to see a couple of little towns on each side of Interlaken! Guide Jose was knowledgeable about the geography of the region and explained the governance structure of the districts/communities well. Farm visit a highlight, especially getting arm licked by calf! Pace fine for person in okay shape who’s never riden an e-bike before. Thank you Jose for memorable ride.

      Fabulous Bike tour
The tour guy was wonderful. And the views were amazing. We would highly highly recommend Flying wheels while in Interlaken. Their only downfall is that they don't do the 6 hour tour everyday. We were restricted due to our schedule and could only do the 3 hour tour in Interlaken. The bikes were fantastic and seemed brand new. The bike store was so nice and everyone was up beat and positive. You must reserve months in advance they get booked early.

One of the highlights of our trip to Switzerland
We had a fantastic experience on this bike tour with our guide, George. It was easy to get used to the e bikes. We enjoyed the visit to the arm and seeing Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. All of us really had fun on this experience.

      Great ride and learning experience
My daughter and I really enjoyed seeing the whole Interlaken area including Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. The stop at the farm was interesting and we biked through quaint Swiss neighborhoods. This tour was a highlight of our trip. The e-bikes make it easy and Jose our guide added interesting information about the Swiss culture and area. Highly recommend.

      Great service and maintained e-bikes
My daughter and I were recommended to rent e-bikes from Flying Wheels in Interlaken, by several locals from Twin Paragliding outfit. We were planning to rent the bikes in Lauterbrunnen, but they convinced us to make the ride from Interlaken. We showed up without reservations, shortly after they opened. We were lucky to get the only 2 non reserved bikes. It was amazing, and such a beautiful day. We rented the bikes for the day, so we didn’t have to be time constrained. I can’t recommend this company or the bike ride enough. It’s the only way to do it, in my opinion. What’s even better- the drivers are super cautious with cyclists!

      Amazing experience
We rented bikes from here twice - first day we turned up and only normal bikes were left so we rented two and they recommended we book for the next day if we wanted e-bikes (which we did on their website and it was super simple). The staff are great - we opted to not use the guided tour but the staff gave really good advice and recommendations on where to go. They asked questions to figure out what we wanted out of the day and how much physical effort we wanted to put in to figure out a great path for us to follow. We didn't know the area well and the staff were very patient in explaining the route (twice). They knew about all the road closures and had great local knowledge. We ended up biking to the end of the route and having a delightful picnic with no other people around. It was also our first time on e-bikes and the staff took the time to explain them to us until we were comfortable. They encouraged us to test it out around the back while they waited.

      Wouldn't recommend. Not nice people.
I tried to book this, then realized it wasn't available on the date we would be able to get there, but, since I never got a confirmation email I never had a confirmation number to be able to cancel it. I went on the Viator website and there was no mention of it when I logged in. It turned out I had made an error when I imputted my email. However, I had booked several other excursions with Viator and all my other information matched. So, after a number of attempts I came to the conclusion that I didn't adequately book it. Then in the middle of our vacation I got an angry call from the person who runs this tour on the Whats App. I had just recently downloaded the Whats App per the request of someone else so I was still unfamiliar with it and very surprised to suddenly get a call on it. This was the very first communication that I had had with these people and he was yelling at me to let me know he would not refund my $286 that they charged me. Whether it was my lack of facility with technology or not, I didn't care for being yelled at in the middle of my vacation. My asssessment is that these people aren't really customer service oriented and I'm glad I didn't waste a day being bullied by them while on a bike tour.

      Great bike tour!
This tour was a lot of fun and very informative. Jose was a great guide and he taught us a lot about the history and culture of Interlaken and Switzerland. It was gray, rainy and cold, but we still had fun! The bikes were amazing and very comfortable. Afterward he and the owner recommended lunch spots, which was nice.

      Best way to enjoy Interlaken!
Our guide, Nicole made it very fun! We biked in a variety of areas in Interlaken. We stopped several times where She gave brief histories of the area. The e-bikes were top quality and made all terrain easy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!

      Do this!
What a brilliant tour! Our guide knew so much and we loved that we got plenty of time to take photos and to stop to see the beautiful scenes. We were so glad we did this on day 1 of our holiday since we picked up loads of info on what to do and see for the rest of our week. Highly recommended!!

      Fun Ride bicycle 🚴 😍💚
This bicycle ride is one of the greatest experience I had here in Interlaken. I loved the ride of E-bike 1st time for me to ride it, and it was easy and fun tour. The guid tout me how to ride it before we started then we went for around thru the two lakes (Thun-brienze) also visited a farm where we saw 🐄 🐎 🐓 and drink fresh cow milk 🥛. Topi was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about places we visit. Thank you very much! I really love it 🤍👌🏻

The Lauterbrunnen Valley is beautiful, the bikes worked well, and the staff were personable. Tremmelbach Falls is amazing and the lunch was good. The bad part is that we had 16 people on our tour and we spent a large percentage of our time waiting. Two people were late so we waited almost half an hour for them. Two people got lost so we waited until they were found. In hairy spots, they had people go one at a time - a good idea but lots of waiting with 16 customers. Same with bathroom stops. We really only visited two waterfalls, which I know is fewer than normal because I’d seen the tour at a waterfall in Stechelberg last week (Flying Wheels, same guide) and we didn’t get near there today. So….. they should have no more than 8 people on a trip. They should make the ride sound appropriately hard in their description on the website. We had a few people who did not ride well and one kid who rode crazy and wasn’t supervised. I now realize that a better choice is to rent a bike in Lauterbrunnen, get a map, and do the tour yourself. Oh, and don’t do the trip on a Sunday. There are too many people out enjoying the falls so…more waiting.

Hi Dana, thank you very much for your feedback. I would like to address few topics which you mentioned. First of all, you visited Interlaken (outdoor hot spot of Europe) in the very high season after 2 years of travel ban, so all the activities are overbooked. Most of our customers are very anxious to join our tour and often it's only one day when they can join, there for we either disappoint our customers by not let them participate, or we try our best to let everyone join in. This was the case where costumers were very eager to join this tour on given day. There is always possibility to book our private if you don’t want other people on the tour with you. Tour with 17 participants was very unique for us, that is why you had 2 guides on your tour. Average tour is around 8-10 people. 2 customers were late (10 min) but we cannot leave without customers who called in advance apologized and said that they are on their way. Being 10 minutes late sometimes happens. 2 participants accidentally took a wrong turn which can happen, we got them within 5 minutes. Yes, you are right the tour was overall bit slower, bit more waiting than usual, but we just cannot trade safety for being faster. You mentioned that you saw our tour on some different place visiting more waterfalls, as mentioned before, we do offer private tours and those are different based on what the customer asks to visit and that is what you saw, because I was guiding your tour as well as private tour which you saw further in the valley. I can assure you that this was a very standard tour with bit more waiting time than usual. Whole tour should be finished 15:30, we started later and we arrived back 16:20, that is within our standards. At some point the length of the tour is always different no matter how many people we have, tour with a group of 4 can be same length as with group of 15. We do describe this tour on our web page as medium difficulty which is appropriate. We cannot predict biking skill of our customers, it does happen sometimes that people are less skilled than others, but we do our best to make it safe and doable for everyone. Kid you are talking about was riding with in boundaries of the safety, guide cannot be watching anyone’s kid all the time. Parents are signing their responsibility for their kids. You are of course very welcome to do the tour yourself. On the other hand, guides go through many places which are not on the bike map, so you would not find them by yourself. Our guides will provide you with loads of interesting information, local knowledge, about the area, Switzerland, Including tips for different trips and activities etc. And you will have an awesome picnic ready for you as well. We are happy that you at least enjoy that part of our tour. Your guide George

We booked this expecting to see something new. We got way more than we had expected. If you ever visit Interlaken you really need to do this trip. The scenery is breathtaking , we could've spent 12 hours taking photos. The waterfalls, the mountains, the rivers. We were actually able to drink water out of a glacial stream. We stopped for a swiss picnic and we were watching base jumpers glide down the mountain. Just as impressive as all the scenery was our tour guide Jose was top notch. His knowledge of the Alps and the country was amazing for a young man from Chile.

George was such a great guide and what a perfect lunch he made us. A spectacular way to see the Lauterbrunnen valley. We would not have known about Trummelbach falls if we weren't on this tour, and it was something not to be missed. Some of the uphill rides were tough on one in our group, just make sure you are comfortable with some pedaling. The E-Bikes really do most of the work, but you still have to pedal. If you are comfortable on a bike and can handle a little cardio, it will not be a problem. Absolutely recommend this tour!!

We had a great bike tour with George!! He is an awesome and knowledgeable guide. We loved the time we spent with him and the bike tour through the valley. The e-bikes were easy to use even if the trail had a couple challenging spots. The Swiss picnic was fabulous and the scenery cant be beat. I would highly recommend this tour and George as your guide! You wont be sorry.

Did this in July with two teenage boys and would strongly recommend this. Good activity for your second day or so in the region as it gives you a good feel for the region. It's pricey, I think we spend an even grand for four of us to do this, but it was definitely a good time and our tour guide Jose was great. I think we did close to 24 miles but those E bikes are amazingly easy for anyone to do. First time we've done those before and it makes everything a breeze. If you want to save some money you MAY want to look at just renting the bikes from them and doing this on your own but honesly I don't know the price difference in just renting and google mapping your way to the same locations on the bike.

Strongly recommend these folks. A well run company.

My family and I visited Interlaken in July and took the six hour bicycle tour with George. He was an awesome host and showed us many of Switzerland’s most beautiful sites. Lunch was simple, but extremely tasty. Highlights of the tour included a visit to Trümmelbach Falls, a lake side ice cream cone at lake Thun, and a beverage together after the ride. Most highly recommended!

Highlight of our visit. My wife and I did the "E-Bike Tour Lauterbrunnen and Valley" with George as our guide. Amazing trail, scenery and waterfalls with excellent history and local knowledge provided by George. With E-Bikes, it was actually quite easy and the bikes were in great shape.

An excellent way to see one of the most gorgeous valleys in the world! George was a great guide and I enjoyed the various information he shared on the history, economy and tourism of the area. The lunch was filling, the ebikes are easy to ride providing enough help to to make the hills without robbing you of exercise if you wish, the scenery is spectacular and the fellow bikers were fun to get to know. I liked the pace of this trip and the ease of biking in Switzerland, especially with a guide who knew all the trails and ins and outs of a good route.

This was the most scenic and fun experiences we have ever done. Our guide Jose made the trip even better with his insight along the way and our picnic of local meats, cheeses and breads along the river setting was so much appreciated. We met so many wonderful people in our group and I can’t say enough about the overall experience. A must do if in Interlaken. And again Jose was the best!!

I had the best day doing this tour, it was the perfect way tI really get a sense of the beautiful Swiss landscape and charming towns. Our tour guide, Jose, was especially knowledgeable and friendly and he made a big effort to avoid bouts of rain in the valley during the day. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends and family!
