About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- TAnneHall0 contributionsNot Worth The CostWe did learn some things but definitely not worth the cost. Probably could have done on our own. Guide was a bit indifferent to thoughts we would share.Written 16 May 2023
- cgV5279ZC0 contributionsWe've been time and again - wouldn't hesitate to go back!If you haven't already been it's a fantastic place to go! A few eye openers once there on double deckers not knowing what you'll see. With this along with canals and barges to ride - that is if you don't go in winter when canals are frozen bring barges to a standstill. Dutch are so friendly speaking English if you're stuck with the Dutch. Trams alternate transport coming pretty regularly. We lived in Germany, Dutch by far the friendlier people.Written 22 January 2023
- Hadeel D0 contributionsGood walkThe experience was very pleasurable the guide was very informative and the walk was good exercise. Really enjoyed the scenery around the hague.Written 25 September 2022

- Leeanne C0 contributionsPrivate walking tour AmsterdamAn absolute must. Our tour guide Hemelinde was brilliant and extremely accommodating. There was a confusion as to the meeting point however she rearranged her schedule to fit us in later in the day . Extremely informative and knowledgeable. Gives you good ideas of what else to do. Brilliant guide thank youWritten 4 January 2020
- 163margiek0 contributionsFantastic way to get a personalized overview of Amsterdam! We booked this private tour of Amsterdam and it turned out to be a great decision. Our wonderful tour guide, Harry, met us at the hotel. We sat there for 10-15 mins. during which time we discussed other tours we were doing, what we wanted to see etc. Harry customized the tour to align with what we wanted to see and not duplicate other tours we were doing. Harry was so knowledgeable about Amsterdam and its history. We learned so much. At the end of our time together, Harry made sure we had our bearings right so that we could get back to our hotel as well as continue touring the city. THANK YOU HARRY!!!!! You were wonderful!Written 30 September 2019
- Donald P0 contributionsAmsterdamI had heard about the red light district but seeing it was something to behold. We enjoyed our time in Amsterdam and found it an easy city to get around in. They have ab easy to use bus system. We spent 4 days there and could have spent more time there.Written 3 September 2019
- MarcieC650 contributionsLooking from the outsideThis tour was just walking by buildings and the tour guide saying in here this happened, in this building we can't go in but this happened. Very boringWritten 3 September 2019
- RobertT4700 contributionsVery informative tour, Skip the harbor cruiseOur private tour of 14 people was planned well. Harold, our guide was personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing the many sides of Rotterdam and faces of its architecture. Meeting him in town, since there was a free bus provided from our cruise port to city center was a good idea, since there was no backtracking. Having come in through the harbor on our cruise ship this Spido cruise was not necessary. While the boat was comfortable and fast, the audio tour on speakers throughout was difficult to follow/ keep interest. It was in several languages and quite monotoned. With limited time in the city, we would have enjoyed some time on our own to explore, ( as did one couple with foresight to leave /skip harbor cruise ) but instead had to return to our ship shortly after tour ended.Written 11 August 2019
- ShipNSugar0 contributionsPeace🙏🏻In 1999 flames from seven continents were brought together to form the peace flame. 196 countries came together to pledge their support for world peace... a stone each from all the countries was placed on the path ... walk the path and pray for world peace. Found it all such a beautiful concept.Written 9 August 2019
- Deborah L0 contributionsExploring hidden areas of Haarlem(I hope this is the tour I booked – it’s the only one I see come up in my various searches online here at Trip Advisor.) This 2-hour private walking tour was worth every penny. Daphne was fabulous. I failed to read the latest email about the meet-up location, so we got started a bit late, but she persisted and found me. Immediately, she asked what my interests were and what I wanted to get out of the tour. I wanted a more local, less touristy experience, and she delivered. She first showed me the parking garage for bikes beneath the train station, which was quite impressive. It reminded me of how we park cars in New York City. I now have a greater appreciation for the Danish people and their bike culture. Daphne was extremely knowledgeable about Haarlem, its history, and the places we visited. She led me into secret courtyards and garden spaces other tourists would not find on their own. We entered the Bakenes Church that is undergoing an archeological excavation of myriad treasures from the past and took photos of the vibrant stained-glass windows designed by comic book artists. We walked out to the De Adriaan Windmill, which I so wanted to see and was not disappointed. The Grote Kerk was our last stop, and its grandeur and beauty met my expectations. These are just a few highlights of my tour. This excursion was a wonderful experience and Daphne seemed more like a friend than a tour guide. In fact, after the tour, which was supposed to be two hours but was closer to three, she joined me for lunch before we headed our separate ways. I spent another hour or so exploring Haarlem on my own before heading back to Amsterdam and was confident doing so in large part because of Daphne’s earlier guidance. I recommend this tour if you are someone who wants to go deeper and have a more intimate experience discovering a new city, in this instance, the lovely city of Haarlem.Written 4 August 2019
- vsrivermeads0 contributionsVery emotionalThis museum is excellent , very revealing and emotional. The talk before the tour is well worth it. The booking and entry system is simple. We booked three months (the earliest you could pre-book) in advance so can't comment on the 'turn up on the day ' system. I'm not sure you would get in easily by not booking in advance.Written 24 April 2019
- Dene J0 contributionsYOU ARE JUST THROWING MONEY AWAY IF YOU BOOK WITH THIS COMPANYDO NOT BOOK WITH THIS TOUR OPERATOR - my wife and i booked an afternoon tour on a Saturday and the tour guide never showed up. They will tell they have an "emergency" phone number to call and get in touch with them which is not true as our hotel called all the numbers they could find online and nobody answered! We even verified we were in the right spot to meet the guide with a guide from another company and were told yes. Now they are refusing to refund my money!Written 23 April 2019
- Liz B0 contributionsFabulous thought provoking musuemI have wanted to visit the museum since I was a child. It did not disappoint the audio was silenced at just the right time to provide a respectful visit. Brilliant humbling experienceWritten 7 August 2018
