Superb Boat Tour
A beautiful boat, great narration and slipped through lots of small canals bigger boats can’t fit into. A very enjoyable 90 minutes and I’d thoroughly recommend this tour to see Amsterdam from the water.

Canal tour
Oct 2019 • Solo
Small boat meant we could go down canals the larger boat trips can't, and fewer passengers made it more personal, plus the electric engine made it quiet and no diesel fumes which was nice. Interesting knowledgeable commentary but we didn't go past some of the bigger landmarks like the Nemo or tall ships which might be a disappointment to some

Dear GoM thank you so much for your positive review! Indeed Nemo and the tallships are not in our tours as it is a little far remoted We sometimes go there when there are longer tours or if requested by our guests. Most of the times we are focusing on the canal area and the Jordaan!

Really, Really nice!
Oct 2019
Well maintained all wood 103 year old boat. Lots of character. Refurbished to electric motor. Hans was a truly entertaining captain, host, and travel guide. Cruising the canals was very relaxing. Lots to see. Boat was not overcrowded - only 9 people plus Hans. Perfect way to end our last day in Amsterdam.

Lovely boat tour
Oct 2019 • Couples
Our guide was friendly and enthusiastic. We greatly enjoyed his commentary on the history of the canals and the development of Amsterdam since the 1300s. He welcomed our questions and had detailed answers. The boat was small and cozy on a rainy day. Would go again.

Fantastic Ride!
Jun 2019 • Friends
The historic boat is so picturesque and very cool. The ride was quite relaxing and we got to see a lot of the city. It was very refreshing to be on the water! Our guide was knowledgeable and the small group on the boat allowed for us to ask lots of questions. It felt very personal and was a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this tour! Only thing was that it was difficult to find since the company shares a doc, but if you know what the boat looks like via the photos, you can't miss it!

Thank you very much for your review Gina! I agree that the dock is private and therefore more difficult to see than the tourist docks. We are aiming at informing people as much as possible how to get there. Hope tot see you again one day! Vanessa

Rock the Boat is a great way to tour the canals of Amsterdam. We had a fascinating history as we navigated the canals. Vera was full of humourous anecdotes as well as offering answers to all our questions.

Perfect Historic Canal Tour
Captain Vera was our engaging guide on the beautiful 1915 salon boat Delphine. This tour is so much more charming than the usual ubiquitous tourist canalboat. At 25€ per person, it’s a bit more expensive but well worth the price. Because the salon boat is small, with intimate seating for 12 people, the experience is more personal. We had a mix of English and French visitors and Captain Vera is fluent in both languages. The boat docks conveniently right in front of the Rijksmuseum, and has a canopy in case of rain. We loved sitting in the rear open window seats and light refreshments are offered, as well. A perfect introduction to historic Amsterdam. Very highly recommended!

Perfect way to tour Amsterdam canals
Apr 2019 • Family
We had a really enjoyable experience aboard the beautiful 'Delphine'. We were fortunate to have a private tour as the were no other tourists on board! Vera was a wonderful skipper with interesting stories and a great sense of humour. It was a gentle and relaxing time on the canals in a unique historical boat. It was a cold day but we were cosy with blankets, closed walls and a heater. Our two kids (8 and 5) loved this experience. I'm really glad we booked it!
