An important cautionary voice! Very well worth the price and time.
We booked for a talk, for prior to walking through Anne Frank’s annexe home. This pre talk was delivered in an informative and concise manner, supported by a pictured time line, film and full opportunity to ask and have questions answered. A perfect introduction! The audio supported tour was excellent, bar being over crowded. Overall, worthwhile.

    An insightful and informative tour
Marlene provided an insightful and informative guided tour of the Van Gogh Museum. She was extraordinarily patient and knowledgeable. Marlene even went back to discuss a painting that some in the group wanted a closer look. Above all she is clearly passionate about the art and history of Vincent Van Gogh. I highly recommend this tour.

    History in motion
A heavily emotionally charged piece of history, presented factually, in living color, in the same place as the event happened. Our tour guide Manuel did an amazing job bringing this area to life with pictures from the past to make the present day more relevant

    Amazing
Such an amazing experience to learn more about the history in Amsterdam. While this trip doesn’t give you access to inside Anne Frank’s house, the end of the tour leads you to the outside of her house. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

We did the Jewish Quarter tour with Clare as our guide. It was a truly remarkable experience. Clare was extremely knowledgeable and conveyed information about the history of the city and the events of WWII with incredible accuracy and detail. She is clearly very passionate about these topics and really brought the tour to life by sharing stories and photos of many individual people who participated in these events. Without being able to get into the Anne Frank house, this tour still gave an excellent overview of the time period and Anne's life. Thank you Clare!!!

Interesting tour with a very good Italian guide (Elena) who showed us the historical evolution of the city and brought to life the drama of the Nazi experience, following the historical narration of the Frank family and made us discover very interesting glimpses and events of Amsterdam. Elena was able to make the tour interesting for my children too, I highly recommend everyone to do it (if possible ask to do it with her). Compliments

Janet, our guide, was EXCELLENT. I’d highly recommend her for anyone interested in these tours. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, answered all our questions and allowed us time to explore a bit on our own. Even in the rainy weather and noisy atmosphere nearby, she was very clear and easy to understand, totally handled everything very professionally. I hope I get to take another tour with her again in the future!!

Great tour, even in the pouring rain. Janet was very knowledgeable. She did a great job bringing history to life as she shared the story of Anne Frank and others along with the history of the Jewish community and how and why so many settled here.

Small group on Saturday morning, May 11, the 7 of us who then visited the Anne Frank house, we were guided through the Jewish quarter by a very friendly guide named Angie. Clear and pleasant explanations from her, sometimes happy stories when she recounts her discovery of a commemorative paving stone in the name of a Holocaust survivor, solemn moments at the deportees' memorial, we had a pleasant time with a guide that we highly recommend. Thank you again for this moment dear Angie.

The tour had several older couples walking. The guide did not use a whisper talk speaker system, and if he was walking ahead, we could not hear. I wear hearing aides and missed at least 50% of the descriptions. He walked ahead and a few of the older tour attendees could not keep up. One couple finally gave up and just dropped out of the tour. He knew his facts, but he spoke so softly he could not be heard.
