Hotel pick-up and a day trip.
Hans picked three of us up at the airport and gave an abbreviated tour of Amsterdam on the way to our hotel. We also booked a tour for six people to tour Delph, the Hague, and Gouda. Hans is extremely knowledgable of the area which added so much to the tour, and if I get to return to Amsterdam, I will definitely book my tours with Hans.

Hans is very nice and he had contacted us before for planning the trip. The air condition of the car is fair functioning.

Tulip Fields, Keukenhof, Authentic Windmills and Holland countryside!
We just had the best day with Hans Langh, our private tour guide here in Amsterdam. I had found him through TripAdvisor, and had seen many excellent reviews on him, so I jumped right on it and reserved. So happy that we did! He was super knowledgeable about the Amsterdam area and its history, as well as the North and South Holland areas, and Schermerhorn, where there are some stunning tulip fields. We like to avoid touristy areas, and go off the beaten path, and he knew just where to take us. We also went to Keukenhof, and although it was busy as expected, it was so with it because the flowers were so beautiful. Hans is the best. Really. You will love him.

        Giethorn & Keukenhof
We went on two private tours to Giethorn & Keukenhof. Hanz was a very friendly and knowledgable tour guide, who took us to authentic little villages far from the tourist crowds. He also took us to some wonderful flower farms that we would never have discovered if we were on our own. He even gave us two bouquets of tulips, and treated us to some local fish delicasies! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Netherlands.

Look no further! Kind, knowledgeable, perfect day!
Hans was amazing. He’s obviously been in the business a long time and knew exactly where to go and what to see. We had our 4 kids and wanted to see flower fields, Keukenhof, countryside and a castle. He worked his magic and walked us around Keukenhof (which is a total maze and he was a huge help!!!) and same for the castle. The ticket people at both places seemed to know him so he’s obviously well liked in the industry...and having him along cut down on so much time. I didn’t have to read maps, find bathrooms....and he was there to explain stuff. Your time is valuable and hiring him is well worth it bc he saves you time and is so so knowledgeable and kind! I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

        Awesome private tour of Holland
Great friendly service! Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our private tour with Hans; he brought us to some great sites with nice photo opportunities. Hans was accommodating to change in schedule and provided great suggestions on places to visit. Knowledgeable and professional, would definitely recommend Han’s private tour. Hope to see you again sometime in Spring/summer!

Private tour of countryside surrounding Amsterdam
We had just arrived in Amsterdam from a river cruise and wanted to maximize our time before our departure home the next day. After we did a salon boat on our own, Hans took us to areas most tourists never see. Farms and villages on narrow streets and roads no tour bus could hope to navigate. We also stopped at a beautiful windmill village with shops and "working" windmills. Outstanding photo opportunities here. Hans has a modern air conditioned VW van that could seat 7 or 8 people, so it was great for our group of 4.

Fabulous art, history and cultural experience plus more with Hans.
We enjoyed one full and 2 half days touring with Hans back in April. It was a trip I took with my mom and cousin. Being 70, my mom was hoping to have a more leisurely trip (i.e. not have to squeeze on too many public transportation with big group tours). That is when I started looking for private tour guides for our visit. We are so fortunate to have found Hans. Some of the highlights from our week long trip was time spent with him. For starters, we wanted a very art heavy itinerary since all three of us are huge fans of fine art museums. We also knew that we wanted to visit Keukenhof Garden as well as spend one day in The Hague and/or Delft. Hans was responsive and we made some initial plans. Hans also provided some useful suggestions for our visit. We had a slight snafu with our booked dates but Hans went out of his way to make things right by us. For our first tour, we visited the Dutch countryside, otherwise known as the Green Heart of Netherlands. Hans picked us up in his spacious, and clean van and we headed out nice and early. He picked a few charming, and non-touristy towns so we could walk at our leisure away from the big crowds. We visited Durgerdam, Zunderdrop, Ransdorp, took a walk in Broek in Waterland. Along the way we learned some cool history and geography of the countryside. later we went to Monnickendam, Market, and took a ferry to Volendam. We also made short stops in Edam, Beemster polder and then visited the windmills in Schermer polder. It was very cool to see the working windmills and getting to climb in to tour the inside. On our second excursion, we spent a fantastic day visiting The Hague. We knew we wanted to visit Mauritshuis and see The Girl with the Pearl Earrings among others. It was definitely one of the most wonderful and manageable (small) museums we visited. The collection was a showcase of the genius of Dutch masters. We also went to see the unique Panorama Mesdag. Hans took us around the city to see some other sights including the International Court of Justice, palaces and monuments. The city has a completely different feel from Amsterdam. We would not have seen as much as we did if we tried to go there on our own since the city were a bit spread out. The last tour we took with Hans was a half day visit at the Keukenhof Garden. Hans had a pass that took us almost right to the entrance. We went in the afternoon and while it was definitely busy, the visitors dwindled down at the end and we were able to walk around leisurely without running into huge crowds. Due to the unusually cold winter, many of the bulbs were not in bloom yet. However, it was still worth the visit. The variety of blooms in the pavilion was absolutely mind-blowing. We slowly made our way through the garden, taking time to take in the details. We appreciate Hans' patient, calm demeanor. He was flexible and when we hit unexpected traffic and resourceful in getting us to our intended destination or making alternative plans. We enjoyed his stories and explanations of the sites and his shared interest in the incredible art scene in Netherlands. We would definitely go on more tours with him the next time we visit Amsterdam.

        Great private tour
Hans picked us up on time in a nice clean van. He took us to see the places we requested and it was a wonderful day! He was very knowledgeable on things he was showing us. I highly recommend you using Hans if you are visiting Amsterdam.

        Flexible Itineraries
We really enjoyed our time with Hans as we toured around Amsterdam and the countryside. Prior to the tour, we sent him the schedule for our river boat cruise so we would not duplicate any of the tours. He studied our calendar and customized our tour so we had a great opportunity to see the sights with no duplication of the cruise tours. He is very knowledgeable and professional and we would recommend him to anyone needing a tour of the area.

Keukenhof is a Dream & Hans Langh Tours Made it Come True!
Two beautiful half days touring the countryside treasure tulips, windmills, and charming Dutch towns all thanks to Hans! Booking with Hans was easy as he was very responsive and catered to the things we wanted to do as a family. We ended up booking two half day tours since we were traveling with our 15 month old and thought splitting up his full-day tour in two days would be better. Hans' communication was stellar and he was always looking out for our best interest. Just days before our Keukenhof tour, Hans found out that the day we had planned to visit Kuekenhof was the day of a big tulip festival. He sent an email two days before our scheduled tour date and asked if we wanted to change up our tour schedule so that we would avoid the touristy and not so pleasant parade and festival happening at Keukenhof. This is the kind of attention to detail you will get with Hans Langh Tours! The first day we started our day at the Schermerhorn windmills. Loved these mindmills as they are not full of tourists and are still operating today. We were the first ones at the windmills so we were the only ones there! Loved seeing how families used to live in these and still do today. Next we ventured the adorable quaint town of Edam and then the Fisherman towns. We were even able to have some fresh fried fish which was delicious! On our way back to Amsterdam, Hans dropped us off in the middle of Amsterdam at our request so we could continue exploring the city. The second day was magnificent. Kuekenhof is a flower and color lovers DREAM! We had our drone with us and wanted some drone footage of the tulips at the peak of their bloom. Luck for us we were in Holland in the peak of tulip season and we had Hans to lead us to the best place for drone footage! Since drones are prohibited at Keukenhof, Hans took us off the beaten path to a tulip farm just outside of Keukenhof where we were able to admire the rainbow bloom! From here, we then ventured to Gardens of Keukenhof. Lucky for us Hans at a VIP parking pass just steps away from the Keukenhof gates which was amazing! Keukenhof how was/is WOW!!! I've never seen any place so beautiful in my life! Flowers of all kinds, all colors, all shades in perfect formation and bloom. This was by far my favorite part of the trip and my 15 month old son loved to roam freely and explore. From Keukenhof we visited some bordering towns and The Hague. Hans was amazing and would recommend him to anyone visiting the Netherlands! He catered to our small family of three perfectly and our 15 month old was content the entire time!

        7 WONDERFUL DAYS IN HOLLAND
Hans was a huge part why our trip to Amsterdam and Belgium was outstanding. From the airport pick up to 3 days of wonderful sightseeing will be a memory we will always cherish. His knowledge plus the added bonus of seeing sights we had not planned for but he thought we would like was very much appreciated. We are very grateful for the care and kindnesss he showed our family and of course the airport drop off was just wonderful. In our book he gets 6 STARS!!!!!!

Hans was super patient, waiting for us at the airport despite delays in the flight. He was very knowledgeable and catered our private tour to what we wanted. We visited several places learning about the land reclamation and history of the country including the Amsterdam defence line and the scenic Broek in Waterland. We enjoyed the tour and Hans’s warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Thank you for your kind words. I enjoyed the tour with you two very much. During my private tour we were able to see indepth the countryside villages and it’s history. Especially Broek in Waterland is a hidden gem, still undiscovered by tourists. We made a prefect walk with a visit to the Dutch Reformed Church. Perhaps see you again in our beautiful Low Lands. Hans.

Hans Langh took us a 1/2 day tour of the countryside in Amsterdam which we very much enjoyed, as well he arranged for a canal cruise which was wonderful. He is truly a professional and helped my handicapped husband to get on the boat. He is very knowledgeable and we would highly recommend his services. Great service.

Dear Mike and Illa, Sorry for the late response but I remember the Amsterdam canal cruise as a highlight. The Blue Boat company does a lot to the special needs of travellers with disabilities by providing more services. Without reservation they gave us preference to access the canal cruise boat. With the help of your grandson and the special canal cruise lift our canal cruise was a great experience. Hans Langh.
