Informative and interesting tour of the Jewish quarter
James our tour guide was very polite engaging and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the Jewish quarter and how Amsterdam was in World war 2. Would definitely recommend but in conjunction with Anne Frank tour. Unfortunately we were too late to book the house.

      Interesting and moving tour
Very interesting and sometimes even emotional tour! Unbelievable what once happened during the war and still happens to people in war. Our guide Guido was kind, friendly and patient. Well informed as well. This tour gives you so much more information than just visiting Anne Frank’s museum. We recommend!

Compassionate and informed insight into Amsterdams red light district
Our guide Aarre provided a knowledgeable and entertaining while sympathetic insight into life in the red-light areas of Amsterdam. Thanks Aarre for sharing your knowledge both contemporary and historic.

      Museum Visit
This was definitely a unique experience but I am happy I went in to see it. Some of it felt a little cheesy but some was really cool to see as well. It is about an hour long to visit. If you’re in the area and have time, I would recommend popping in just to see it.

      Anne Frank House
Very hard to get tickers to this popular stop. YOU MUST get the tickers online through Anne Frank web site. Only offered once a week. It is a very moving and interesting tour.

American couple loved the private tour experience.
My husband and I took this tour with Pilar as our guide. She was amazing and so knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam and the Red Light District, which we loved learning about. The tour was very thorough and covered many areas and interesting sights, including the oldest coffee shop, smallest street in Amsterdam, and more. 10/10 would recommend.

      Great walking tour
Great walking tour through a historic part of Amsterdam. Our guide Jay was very knowledgeable and very informative. He was very sensitive to the red light area and respectful of the ladies working there. We really enjoyed this walk.

Tasteful and informative tour of the Red Light District
Our guide, Sander, was knowledgeable and funny. We were late to the tour and he worked with us to meet him on the tour. The tour also included information on Chinatown and other history in the city.

      Something Different for Us
I wasn't sure what to expect on this tour so don't know if I got it or not. Our guide was amazing (Arree). He is brilliant and funny and kind and knows the ins and outs of the district. We learned a lot about the historical side of the district, and the guide made it feel less awkward for us. We were able to tour the sex museum without the guide and it was fascinating.

A great way to explore the Red Light District.
Pilar our guide was very attentive and informative of the history of the Red Light and Amsterdam history too. She walked us through the district very nonchalantly and explained the history. A very respectful tour.

Wonderful introduction to this neighborhood in Amsterdam
If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars, I would do so. Personable, informative, friendly, interested in the customers, very knowledgeable, totally wonderful tour guide.

      Honored to take this tour
Had such a moving experience on this tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. We had the honor of being in town the day after Liberation Day is celebrated. We learned how these flowers were left to remember those citizens who lived along the canal and arrested during the Nazi occupation.

Wish I’d read the information on here first before booking- I booked via another agency who said the tour finished at Anne franks house. So to be told straight off we weren’t going there was disappointing. However the tour itself was enjoyable, we certainly discovered parts of Amsterdam we wouldn’t have visited , the guide knowledgeable and importantly at a good pace. It just wasn’t the tour we were expecting

Tour guide was great and knowledgeable but the tour itself was VERY MISLEADING. There was very little associated with Anne Frank other than she was one of the Jews killed during WWII. The tour is billed as an Anne Frank tour and we thought this included the house. Only with you click into the tour details of what is “not included” do you see that the house is not included. You done even go near the house (they are banned from going near as they as not associated with the Anne Frank house at all. Still an interesting tour but now what we expected. Buyer Be Ware!

An excellent tour led by our guide, James. He was incredibly knowledgeable and sincere in his delivery of the information.
We learnt a great deal about life during that period, which at times was very moving. Thank you James.

My only negative was finding the Meeting point at 51C which was confusing!!!!
Why not just say meet by the entrance of the H’Art museum? Would have been much clearer!!

This was an interesting and insightful tour. It was the highlight of our trip. David was our guide and I can’t say enough good things about him- he was so knowledgeable. It was a great walking tour for anyone interested in history. Don’t miss this tofu.

P.S. the name is misleading but we knew the tour didn’t go in the Anne Frank house. We went to the Anne Frank house separately and this tour was much more in depth and informational.

The guide James was very knowledgeable and took us to many parts of Amsterdam where many tragic events took place during the persecution of the Jewish population in Netherlands. It was surreal and poignant standing outside apartments of people who had been driven from their homes and treated so inhumanely, and the various buildings that were used by the Nazis in their persecution. The pace and duration of the walk was just right.

If you want to learn about Amsterdam's Jews during WW2 then do this tour. James took us to inconspicuous locations with sad stories, even current tram tracks!

We really enjoyed this tour. Okay you can really think you are getting access into the exact house but I knew this and enjoyed exploring the areas that Anne and the Jewish people lived and grew up
