About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- cokesmite0 contributionsIl pleut, Blue Amsterdam red light District sightedSander was professional and informative. The tour was not lewd, but historic, putting the place and its origins in context. I found my way about Dam later on having oriented around the spots we visited. The tour was sensitive to the inhabitants of the district, we even visited a temple.Written 15 September 2024
- barbaracO855LR0 contributionsVery InformativeAaron did a very good job walking us around the Jewish Quarter and he was very knowledgeable about the history . I would highly recommend this tour.Written 15 September 2024
- Navigator7830900 contributionsGood guide but skip the sex museumThe guide was good, he shared a lot of historical background about the development of the red light district. He helped us understand how the solicitation process works. But the sex museum was not worth being part of the tour and if you want to see it you can walk in on your own.Written 12 September 2024
- Seaside3055640 contributionsTurned out ok,unfortunentlyit was raining a lot. We attempted numerous times prior to cancel but no response. The guide was unorganized at the start. She was informative and did find us a place out of the rain. She was kind. Would have liked a live showWritten 11 September 2024

- 805karinh0 contributionsPrivate tour of historic Red Light District was fabulous! This private tour was the perfect mix of history and current times; we learned about not only the Red Light District but the whole of Amsterdam. Pilar was happy to share with us things she has learned in her own deep dive research of interesting local things. We would happily reccomend this tour, the private tour was worth the extra money and Pilar was fantastic!!Written 7 September 2024

- S3223YQmichaelf0 contributionsFor a good time, ask for AdamTour with Adam was really well done. He’s informative and very funny. Worth it for learning the history of the district and a little about the Netherlands and Amsterdam.Written 5 September 2024
- sofiay1340 contributions"Insightful and engaging tour with a great guideWe loved our guided tour with Sander. His delivery was fast-paced, informative, and eloquent, which we appreciated after experiencing a slower-paced tour earlier in our trip. Even though this was our second walking tour in Amsterdam, we still learned a lot of new information. Unlike other tours, this one actually takes you inside the Red Light District, although the guide doesn’t provide commentary in that area due to regulations. While you can visit the Red Light District on your own, experiencing it with the context provided by the tour made it much more insightful.Written 2 September 2024
- Thundarr70 contributionsThe Red Light district has its own fascinating history!Adam is a fantastic tour guide! He is quick witted, funny as hell and very informative. I had a fantastic time and learned a lot. He made the entire experience worthwhile.Written 27 August 2024
- Emanuel F0 contributionsDisappointedVery friemdly and helpful but I am disappointed that it did not include entry into the Anne Frank Museum. I believe the title is a bit deceiving especially for the price.Written 26 August 2024
- Excursion268679127610 contributionsA must see while you are in Amsterdam!Great walking tour! Fascinating history and our guide was very informative. Charming area mixed in with things you won’t see anywhere else!Written 24 August 2024
- phild77440 contributionsfun and informative tourfun and informative tour, good too have local knowledge or where to go and what to do and not to do in the RLD! Kevin was a super nice fella too. thanks and keep up the good work.Written 23 August 2024
- 588fabians0 contributionsInteresting tour also giving great insights into the history of the districtVery interesting tour starting with a history of the origins of the district and showing along the route how the district changed over the last few decades. Before entering the area with the windows, we also got an introduction about the rules and safety measures in place. This tour allowed for quite a unique perspective into the city and well worth the time.Written 22 August 2024
