Sander was professional and informative. The tour was not lewd, but historic, putting the place and its origins in context. I found my way about Dam later on having oriented around the spots we visited. The tour was sensitive to the inhabitants of the district, we even visited a temple.

Aaron did a very good job walking us around the Jewish Quarter and he was very knowledgeable about the history . I would highly recommend this tour.

The guide was good, he shared a lot of historical background about the development of the red light district. He helped us understand how the solicitation process works. But the sex museum was not worth being part of the tour and if you want to see it you can walk in on your own.

This private tour was the perfect mix of history and current times; we learned about not only the Red Light District but the whole of Amsterdam. Pilar was happy to share with us things she has learned in her own deep dive research of interesting local things. We would happily reccomend this tour, the private tour was worth the extra money and Pilar was fantastic!!

Tour with Adam was really well done. He’s informative and very funny. Worth it for learning the history of the district and a little about the Netherlands and Amsterdam.

We loved our guided tour with Sander. His delivery was fast-paced, informative, and eloquent, which we appreciated after experiencing a slower-paced tour earlier in our trip. Even though this was our second walking tour in Amsterdam, we still learned a lot of new information. Unlike other tours, this one actually takes you inside the Red Light District, although the guide doesn’t provide commentary in that area due to regulations. While you can visit the Red Light District on your own, experiencing it with the context provided by the tour made it much more insightful.

Adam is a fantastic tour guide! He is quick witted, funny as hell and very informative. I had a fantastic time and learned a lot. He made the entire experience worthwhile.

Very friemdly and helpful but I am disappointed that it did not include entry into the Anne Frank Museum. I believe the title is a bit deceiving especially for the price.

Very interesting tour starting with a history of the origins of the district and showing along the route how the district changed over the last few decades. Before entering the area with the windows, we also got an introduction about the rules and safety measures in place. This tour allowed for quite a unique perspective into the city and well worth the time.
