My husband and I were in Amsterdam celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. I wanted to surprise him with a special gift that could not be replicated and I decided on an evening canal tour. I searched endlessly in an attempt to find the “perfect” experience. And I did! There are many many companies offering every type of cruise and it can be overwhelming trying to decide what was the best option for us. Ultimately I decided the Romantic Amsterdam tour was the perfect combination of a tour and refreshments. We enjoyed the 90 minute cruise complete with snacks and a bottle of our favorite champagne and wonderful commentary and conversation with our captain. We were able to arrange for pick up and return at our hotel which made the evening more enjoyable. Booking was easy and communication with the company was excellent. This was a highlight of our week in Amsterdam (and the perfect weather!) Thank you for the wonderful experience and memory.

Amsterdam is an amazing city, very vibrant and something for everyone! Very romantic with an abundance of museums, eateries and places to have a drink, and of course if you want to visit a coffee shop there's plenty of them to choose from.

Our experience with the Canal Cruise was exceptional. I booked a 45 minute session to celebrate a two-year anniversary with my girlfriend and we were immediately greeted with Valentijn Dirk’s warmth and positivity. The setup was comfortable (blankets and pillows were provided) and we were given the perfect amount of snacks to munch on during our cruise, but it was Valentijn who really made the experience one to remember. He shared so many interesting stories about the rich history and culture of Amsterdam, while also very intentionally creating opportunities for my girlfriend and I to connect and bond more deeply. He has a knack for storytelling and inspired us with such authentic and joyful energy. Highly recommend!

I booked the private canal cruise for my husbands 30th birthday while we were in Amsterdam and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. Had the most amazing proposal and romantic tour with Romantic Amsterdam Tour. From the initial planning stages with Linda, who was very helpful and accomodating, to our amazing skipper, Valentijn Dirk, who was charming, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about Amsterdam and its history. The proposal itself couldn't have gone better; everything that was initially planned went without a hitch and as exactly as described. Overall, it was a magical evening that we will never forget.
