About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- eileenf1140 contributionsGreat job “G”My wife and I had the pleasure of having Goulven affectionately known as “G” as our tour guide to Bruges. From the very beginning of the tour it was well organized by G and his staff. The bus ride was pleasant and very informative. G shared a lot of facts during the bus ride to Bruges. Which BTW made the ride extremely enjoyable. While touring the city you can sense his passion for his job and wanting to share his knowledge. He also answered a lot of questions from our group. We got great recommendations for place to eat, buy chocolates and local beers. Thank you G for making our trip an enjoyable and very educational experience All the best Rob and EileenWritten 12 December 2024
- blackstilletos0 contributionsShouldn't have botheredTotal waste of money. We generally do one of these tours to see places where we want to explore further. Saw nothing on the Amsterdam tour that had us wanting to go back to. Audio description was next to useless (referenced Rembrant's house with no indication of where to look and what to look for. One stop was at Gassan diamonds but NOTHING in the audio about the relevance of diamonds to the city). To top of a totally boring and uninteresting bus ride, some roads were closed and we couldn't complete the route and had to get off and walk to the boat station to get back to where we started. No mention of a refund for the shorter trip or the inconvenience. Don't get me wrong, we really liked Amsterdam as a city and loved what we saw on foot, but this bus tour was a total rip off and gave us no insight into anything about anything. Total waste of money and time. Just explore on foot. YOu'll have a better time.Written 8 November 2024
- 142marinap0 contributionsone of the worst experience I had as a touristOne of the worst scam I was fooled with. Went through different offers and trip to find and book one that explicitly stated "This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers". 200 dollars of trip for 2 people, I said to myself "maybe it's this pricey for the restricted number of participants". But no, completely not the reason (that I still don't know to this day). On the day of the trip, we collected our tickets from a secondary partner (Tours & Tickets) that handed over 2 tickets for a total of 120 euros. So the first question was "where the remaining 80 went?", still don't know. Then, arriving at the platform to get on the bus, we discovered we were almost 50 people parteking in this trip! Such a lovely surprise. We tried writing to the "tour operator" by whatsapp chat (where they first reached out to us) asking for clarification but they just left us on read. For a moment I thought I was on Tinder. Having paid, we decided to go with the tour but it was really unpleasant: we rushed through everything but little to no time to see or do anything else apart from what the guide showed us. It was more a poorly executed attempt to sell us local products than show us the different locations. Not recommended, very bad experience, no clarity, and non-existent customer service.Written 1 September 2024
- ronmF4438LM0 contributionsA Gimmick pure waste of money. Get the tram at Central Station 9euro all dayDo not spend your hard earned money on this. Catch the Tram at Central Station. If you’re coming off a cruise ship and you see this as an offer to hop on ..Keep walking. We left the cruise Terminal after buying this worthless ticket walked about 100 yards and what do we see a Hop on and Hop bus and driver parked on the side , but this guy decides to park there and eat his lunch, as a rational person I can understand it’s lunchtime and people need their time , but the problem was people didn’t know where to go and get on a bus , So you know how nice this guy was , So nice he wouldn’t even open the door to at least hear offer any advice to the people who just paid his company money to catch a bus, wahh wahh wahh…a big let down he ignored them which was sad. It’s good that he is in Amsterdam in my opinion, because if he was in other place that comes to mind hint hint I don’t think that for a second he would have enjoyed his lunch at all …with people being upset and still walking with no bus in sight there’s no way. Also I say to them …Shame on you for not assisting paying Elderly people who couldn’t walk as far as we could as most of them Turned around and went back . Not good business no wonder My Country is Number One and people climbing mountains and crossing borders to get there everyday Now I really see why… A Great life lesson to count my blessings.Written 2 October 2023
- tedroMelbourne0 contributionsDisappointed!Locating actual stops to start your difficult to find. Tourist office said “Jewish Cultural Centre “ but this is non existent. Very hit and miss. First and second drop diamond factory and Heineken factory long. Anne Franke stop was almost 3000 metres from house! Driver sang and whistled over the narrated explanation Tour circumnavigated old town.Written 29 September 2023
- 114richarda0 contributionsDo it because you get a tour of the citySeemed badly managed. No signs on road stops for the tours, disinterested staff. Driver was monotone. Ear pieces did not work properly. But, you get to see parts of the city you do not see from the canal cruise. Just brush up your customer skills guys.Written 18 September 2023
- pedroo490 contributionssafety pinIf you like painting, the Rijksmuseum is a must-see, it is incredible, beautiful, spectacular, you will find the best of Rembrand, paintings by Vermeer, Van Gogh, Goya, etc., if you go to Amsterdam you cannot miss going to the RijksMesuemWritten 8 September 2023
- 337kylies0 contributionsWaste of moneyWish i had read the previous reviews for this service before paying the €27.50 for this bus. Bus was not airconditioned and on a 30 degree day everyone was sweltering even upstairs was covered with perspex which made it hotter and stopped at a diamond factory for 25 mins in the heat made my husband and i feel sick we just wanted to get off. Then after one circuit stopped at Centraal (stop 1) and were told it would not be taking off again for 20 mins so we all had to get off and wait in the heat. We gave up and used the tram to get around, and cheaper much easier. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.Written 7 September 2023
- Fearless412333895550 contributionsa joke and a scamThis was a total waste of time and money. Even though discounted at 27.5 euro from 30 it was still a joke and a scam. We were tired and hoping for a nice 2 hours or so seeing some of the sites of the city. The trip lasted 85 minutes, the commentary was repetitive, it pointed out buildings that we could not see [we sat in the front row] and gave lots of very dull information [e.g., concerning 19th century buildings]. The bus was overcrowded, and the driver allowed people on to stand in the aisles. Is that legal? From multiple other perspective the youngish driver [spoke some Slavic language] should be fired. We watched him multitask through the whole trip, i.e., eat, take off his jacket, text and talk on the phone - all while driving ... often with one hand. It did not feel safe. Avoid at all costs. We have done great hop-on-hop-off [Dublin was a spectacular experience]. This felt like a bad taxi ride. Save your money.Written 31 August 2023

- Paul W0 contributionsGood fun, could be better. The electric bikes were good and easy to use . The guide was pleasant but tended to ride off ahead of the group often leaving some people struggling to keep up. It was sometimes difficult to keep the group together .Written 24 July 2023
- NickP7210 contributionsFailed to supply our tickets and would not let us on the bus!Booked and paid for two tickets for the Amsterdam hop on hop off Bus Trip through Trip Adviser/ Viator. Never received email containing our tickets, so they would not let us onto the bus, even though we had proof of purchase on our phone. Response was "No tickets - no bus trip". When I applied for a refund, they emailed to say that they cannot issue a refund! I will be taking this to the UK small claims court. Avoid. They are an uncaring and unhelpful operator that are totally reliant on technology that does not work and if they fail to send you your tickets you don't get a refund! Thought better of Trip Adviser, but just shows how little they care for their customers, when they act as an introducer to people like this.Written 20 July 2023
- frenchelvis0 contributionsTake a boat tripRubbish! Do not waste your money on this. First of all it is a temporary’ route which means it’s pretty short on interest and long on traffic lights! Secondly it stops for 10-15 at a nondescript building because they sponsor the bus! Thirdly it completely missed the information for the first stop and only kicked in when we were well beyond it. Total and utter waste of time. I’ve been on other hop on trips in other cities and this is by far the worst. And what happened to stop number 6?Written 17 July 2023
- ceciliacP7224TJ0 contributionsVery poor organization and customer serviceI bought 4 ticket for Hop on hop off bus in Amsterdam the 5th July. The service wasn’t working cause the rain, as said afterwards by the employee at their local office. No advise was send to us, and, furthermore, following my request, the customer service wrote us that the service was operative. We waited for one hour under the rain at the bus stop! And we lost one day of our holiday.Written 5 July 2023
