Our host Ludwig was a lovely guide and showed us around with lots of energy! Some bars were more crowded then others, but overall great atmosphere and definitely recommended. Thanks for the amazing evening

I booked a tour a month ago and got a reply email confirming for a tour today and 10 of us waited from 2 - 2;30 and no one showed up. SO disappointed. Now I see in reviews they have done that before so I wouldn't book with these people.

We booked online for the alternative tour a week prior, and the tour guide never arrived. Another guide from the same company said the guide wasnt coming today. Very disappointed!!!

Booked the Original tour for a busy Saturday afternoon. Waited around for 30 minutes, until we gave up hope on anyone showing up. Every other tour company we tried to join after was fully booked. Waste of an afternoon in lovely Amsterdam.

I did the Alternative Tour with Kaylee. We had a small group (6 people) - which was ideal. I thought that Kaylee was very friendly and informative. She also provided some good suggestions about interesting things to do while in Amsterdam.

Moving yo Amsterdam my boyfriend and myself wanted to have a nice overview, some key knowledge and have a great time.... All done thanks Mate" for showing us our new home town and telling us with humour and confidence where this awsome town come from... I definitely recommend the tour :) you can find them on Dam square just in front of Madam Tussaud and the Palais royal :D

We went on the classic tour with Claire today. We had a wonderful experience, and learned a lot about the city and its history. Our guide Claire, made the tour fun, and even showed us a great place to stop and get a tasty Amsterdam Snack!!! I recommend this tour 10/10!!!!!

We wasted our morning trying to find the nominated meeting point to start our tour . When we phoned the company we were told the tour had been cancelled as difficulty getting bikes. No email was sent to us to advise us of this so we could have booked another trip. They had our email address and we had received the original confirmation. I would not trust this company.

Yup. Was informed only when I rocked up to the blue umbrella. No email or messages beforehand. I had limited time in Amsterdam so I had to reluctantly join the classic historical tour. Enthusiastic guide and informative tour IF they show up.

It was a great afternoon tour plus a sunny day! The tour guide Oli has a very interesting way of leading you through centuries of Dutch history and culture while crossing the beautiful canals, red light district and other important locations. I definitely recommend it as it's worth for your time and budget.

My partner and I recently visited Amsterdam for the first time. He saw the top ten free things to do whilst in Amsterdam and thought we might as well try some of them whilst we were there. The idea of a free tour sounded great, we both enjoy walking and finding out the history about new places. Credit to our tour guides Claire she knew her stuff and took us to lots of different places. We were also lucky to be in a rather small group. At the end when we were brought back to Dam square was when we were told although it is a free tour we can decide if she deserves to be paid by giving a donation. This automatically made us feel slightly uncomfortable as we had no idea what around was expected, we kind of looked around to see what others were doing and most were giving 10€ each. I thought this was fair as we had been walking for 2 hours, I just personally found it an uncomfortable situation as she should waiting for us to either pay or just walk away. I would recommend the 'free' walking tour, just make sure you do have some money for the end.

We've been to Amsterdam many times and this was our first tour. Luckily it ended up being just the two of us. We saw places we had walked past many times not knowing it was there or anything about it. The tour was very informative and we were impressed that our guide who hadn't lived in the country long, knew so much, was a natural and seemed at ease. The tour is free and only requires a tip to the guide.
