Our guide was very congenial and knowledgeable, adding many interesting details to the history of the architecture of Galveston.

This tour is the best of the three tours we took in Galveston. Very knowledgeable certified tourism ambassador sure beats the competition. Factually reliable but not the least bit dull. Go on this one.

This tour is a must in Galveston. We toured the city in an electric model T (so fun) with our fun tour guide Willie D. He was very knowledgeable about the Galveston area, the 1900 flood, the Restoring Galveston properties. It was a great way to see the historic districts and the beautiful homes.

Our group really enjoyed our private tour with Carriage House Rentals and our tour guide Willy! He had a great sense of humor, came prepared with before and after pictures and got overviews of historical renovations, had interesting facts about the Cardroys show, Galveston itself and were shown many sites that really would be undisclosed otherwise.

We rent one of the new/old cars from Carriage Haus every time we stay on the island. They are designed to look like old Model T cars but are all electric. The staff gives a thorough overview of the car and all safety instructions, however, if you can drive a golf cart, you can drive one of these. They are so much fun to sport around in and it is way easier to see the sights than from a full-sized car. People cannot help but smile as you pass, but if they don’t just honk the horn at them and they won’t be able to resist. The horns go AHOOGA instead of beep-beep. We just learned that they are giving tours now and want to try one when we go back.

My husband and my life long girl friend took this tour as part of our pre-cruise fun in Galveston! It was great! I have long been a fan of the tv show Restoring Galveston with Ashley and Michael Cordray and thought it would be great fun to see some of their homes if I ever got to Galveston again. When we booked a cruise and decided to spend a couple days in Galveston prior to the cruise. I began looking for a tour and found this one. How perfect! It was such a great experience!!! Our tour guide, Willie D, was wonderful! Informative and entertaining! All 3 of us absolutely loved it!

A group of us were not able to go on this tour at the very last minute due to an unexpected health issue. There are not enough words to describe the kindness and grace we were given by this company. I am so grateful for the understanding. Thank you and if we ever make our way to Galveston again we will certainly re book with you.

Wonderful and thorough history of the 1900 storm. So many stories about the storm, and the opportunity to see where it happened. Plan on doing it again next time we are here!

Willie our tour guide gave us a wonderful customer experience. So personable and knowledgeable. Took us to the sites "we have seen on TV," fun night. Also saw the twice a year citizens visiting some of the very lovely properties in Galveston. Also, we're intrigued to take The Mob Tour, hosted by Willie.

We did the Ghost Tour with Carriage Haus. The driver/tour guide as fantastic and merged some super interesting Galveston history along with the ghost stories and sites. She drove us all around the historic east end and to the seawall to points of interest. I have done a couple of other ghost tours and this one was definitely the best. My group had a blast! Will definitely try another tour!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! The customer service was outstanding, the owners are beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and run a fantastic business! The shop is really cool, PLUS, the fleet of cars were amazing! We loved our car, “Grandma.” (All cars have personalized names! Make sure to ask who your car is named after and don’t forget to add the Bluetooth speaker!) We had an absolute blast in our model T touring Galveston with our beach music!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 💚💚💚

What a fun time! We had heard about these "Model T" cars you could rent. We found Carriage Haus Rentals online and stopped by. Greeted by a very nice gentleman who turned out to be the owner. He answered our questions, got us set up, and away we went with a map of the Galveston tree carvings. We had many folks looking at us as we drove, and even had a couple ask if they could take a picture in front of the car. Absolutely loved it!

Such a fun experience! Renting was super easy and driving around town became the most memorable part of our trip. Highly recommend!
