I didn't know about this tour. When I arrived in Evora I went to take a coffee in a cafeteria in front of Praça do Giraldo. When I went out I saw Sandra and a group of people and she welcome me too. When she start to talk she never stop, she really love her city and want to engage all the people. I really like the walking tour. I suggest her to everyone that want to discover the real Evora. Sandra provides great insight into the life and times of Evora. She is very passionate and enjoyes sharing her enthusiasm for this fascinating town with all visitors. Our tour took about 2 hrs 30 mins, but this varies with the size of the group.. Sandra covers the major sites within and around the main square. For anyone with mobility issues, there is not a lot of walking involved. Her morning walks are for English speakers. She also has an afternoon walk but this is for Spanish speakers.

Doing this lovely tour with Sandra is a must if you visit Evora. She will explain and show you things you would never see by yourself. She will you adore this magical city. Gonzalo M.

Do not miss this fabulous walking tour to learn the hidden jewels of Evora. Only complaint is that we did not schedule this tour immediately upon arrival in Evora. That would have afforded us better appreciation and understanding while walking the ancient streets and stairs. The culture and charm of Evora is easily seen through Sandra’s enthusiasm and personal warmth for the city. A job well done and enjoyed by all of our group.

I signed up for the free tour and was surprised to find when it started that I was the only person who signed up! Regardless, Sandra was lovely and put me at ease. She is very passionate about her city and seems to genuinely enjoy sharing her knowledge. She also gave recommendations for restaurants and souvenirs. This tour helped me understand Évora and I’m glad I did it! I suspect Évora will soon become even more of a tourist destination than it already is - so go if you can, and take the free tour!

Well, you win some, you lose some, but with Sandra's Tour I really felt I got lucky. I had only two days / nights booked to stay in E'vora, so noticing this Tour I decided to book it for my very first hours in the city to give me an orientation. It worked out perfectly. We met up as arranged ( Sandra perfectly on time btw for those who have seen the negative review ) in front of the church in Giraldo Square. Sandra not phased at all by the fact I was the only person attending on this occasion. There followed two and a half hours ( it would have been longer but for the fact that I had a date with a parking meter at 17:30 ) of enthusiastic explanation oh history and architecture and this and that and the other. Of course questions were encouraged and none I thought up went without an answer. There were plenty of recommendations for good , reasonably priced, places to dine, just have a coffee, or an ice cream. And for a good river beach, albeit that needed a bit of a drive. Best way to sum up would be that Sandra gives you not just 'E'vora' - but a bit of herself in these tours. Don't miss, and book it for your first available 3 hour slot on arriving, as you will then have plenty of recommendations for follow up the next day. Obrigado !

Sandra has a wealth of knowledge about Evora and the bubbly enthusiasm to convey it in an interesting way. She also has the modesty to simply say "I don't know" for questions she does not have an answer to. Highly recommend Sandra and her "free tour" concept which essentially is "tip me what you think the tour was worth". Tell Sandra when your next appointment is, otherwise she is so enthusiastic the tour could last over 3 hours. She has good recommendations for meals and nearby sightseeing. Thanks Sandra
