- nkumum0 contributionsBest Multi Destination Historical Tour in the Algarve!Beny was awesome!!! He gave us a great deal of context and historical facts, which made the destinations that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour as one gets to see a lot in a relatively short time frame. Great way to explore multiple sights without the stress involved in driving yourself there and with the added bonus of learning all about the sight and why it is meaningful. Again I highly recommend!!!Written 2 September 2024
- Aimee J0 contributionsBrilliant experience & our tour guide Hugo was fantastic! What a brilliant experience! We’re a family group of 6 who did the winery half day tour, we had an absolutely fantastic and memorable experience. Our tour guide Hugo was amazing, he was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and contributed a massive amount to making the trip so pleasurable. We learned so much about ‘off road’ Portugal and I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a little bit less touristy and more authentic Portugal experience!Written 29 August 2024

- scaffolder18880 contributionsVery Enjoyable experience. The Algarve tour might not have any "must see" sites on it but Benny our tour guide certainly made it an interesting and enjoyable day out, even though he is not Portugese his knowledge and love of the area really does come across very well and if you just want to get out of your resort for the day and see some of the Algarve in a small group of people in relative comfort at a reasonable price then i would certainly recommend this tour.Written 25 August 2024

- lin24wink0 contributionsDay of culture for our first visit to AlberferiaWas easy to book. Was picked up with in the time stated from our hotel Our guide George was amazing and a wealth of knowledge he went above and beyond to make our day special and make lots of memories We stopped for refreshments throughout the day. The meal included was very nice and much better than expected. The views have been stunning we learned about portugal history in a fun way. Would definitely recommendWritten 24 August 2024
- philf3770 contributionsAmazing trip and service.Had a fantastic half day on a safari trip with wife and teenage son. We were collected from our hotel at the time stated by our driver Alvaro then ventured up to the hills. Had a few stops throughout the afternoon including a farm where we tasted different jams, liqours and freshly picked tomatoes (and where I lost my glasses!) also stopped for a swim, view stops and cafe for a drink and ice cream. The off road treks where amazing and my teenage son (typically hard to please teenager!) thought it was fantastic being able to stand up in the rear of the jeep to see things while being driven around. The icing on the cake came the following day when after contacting them to mention my lost glasses, they not only found them but our driver Alvaro drove all the way to our hotel to return them to me. What amazing service! Would highly recommend this company.Written 24 August 2024
- Bee2320 contributionsExciting experience in PortugalWe went on the half day trip with wine tasting as a family with a young g child. The winery was very accommodating for our young child and the rest of the tour was wonderful, we got to see a different side to Portugal and visited a castle, saw native fruit trees, herbals, wildlife and tasted some great local produce and the local guide was so knowledgeable. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.Written 23 August 2024
- wreeves700 contributionsHighlight of my holiday!!!This was the most amazing trip I had ever done. The driver Miguel was absolutely brilliant and had an incredible knowledge of the areas flora and fauna. He was funny, engaging and nothing was too much trouble. The views from the jeep were breath taking but the views at sunset from our hillside vantage point left me speechless. The journey to see the sunset included a stop off at a local farm and the opportunity to taste some of the local delicacies. There was also a stop in Alteat the Agua Mel patisserie where the cakes were so delicious any I have tasted previously paled into insignificance. There is nothing more liberating than standing in the back of a moving jeep, the wind blowing in your hair and stunning views in every direction. The meal was lovely and gave the two groups doing this trip a chance to eat and chat together. If you do nothing else on this holiday take the opportunity to do this.Written 18 August 2024
- 305bethaniel0 contributionsA beautiful tour & tastingMyself and my three friends went on this trip in July 2024. We could not recommend it more! Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable, he took us to some beautiful spots in Portugal away from the tourist spots. The tour was rounded off with a beautiful wine tasting. The wines were so tasty we had to buy some to take home. A must if you are in Portugal and enjoy wine 😊Written 17 August 2024
- Companion8161860 contributionsAncestry search vacationWe had a group of 8 that the driver/guide of a van came and picked us up at our hotel. He was polite and prompt. At first I wasn't sure it was going to be what I was imagining, but after our first stop and the many that followed, my mind was at ease. We got a little concerned about some back roads, but he knew the countryside very well. I'm glad, cause I sure didn't. The full day of adventures was well worth it. I'm not going to mention where we went so not to spoil the surprises, but you'll enjoy it.Written 14 August 2024
- jayeshp3770 contributionsBenny is amazingFrom start to finish we loved every minute of the tour. Benny was warm and welcoming, he explained throughout the tour about how Portugal came to be and various events in time. We saw lots on the tour and we able to ask lots of questions in general and about local markets and food, benny gave lots of recommendations on places to eat. It is a long day but you get lots of stops to sight see and get food or drinks.Written 7 August 2024

Hugo was great - made a long trip not feel long, explained lots along the way, spoke 5 languages. Enjoyed all the stops, though I thought we'd see more of the orchard, learn more about the process of distilling firewater. Wish I'd known we'd need cash Euros for that stop and the café in Alte. So we couldn't buy anything at the farm, and spent part of our intended gratuity at the café. After telling us he'd recommend a nontourist spot for dinner, claimed it's where he goes for seafood (earlier in tour he explained that locals can't afford E3 for a glass of wine or E1.50 for coffee), then sent us to our most expensive dinner of the trip (E300 for family of 5). But all in all, everyone enjoyed the afternoon. My boys (10 and 12) said they thought it would be boring, but were surprised that they had fun 😊

Although there were beautiful sites that we visited on our trip, the "safari" itself, we wouldn't be able to recommend. Firstly the vehicle itself was very old and not what you would expect from an open-air jeep. Only the very top part of the roof rolled back so if you're one of the unlucky people to get a seat in the back cab, you're "view" is incredibly restricted. The trip was completely overbooked, trying to fit 8 grown adults (including the driver) into the vehicle was incredibly challenging and uncomfortable. The driver, although very friendly, didn't do much talking in terms of providing in depth information about the sites we were visiting.

Me and my siblings went on a tour with our lovely guide Miguel. At first we were a bit sceptical, not knowing what to expect, just to find out it was AMAZING! After a quick ride to the edge of the city, the guide took te top off to make sure we had the best experience while driving and stopped at besides the road to let is smell all the fresh herbs en fruits we found besides the road. It was an amazing experience I will never forget, mostely because of our fantastic guide. His warm and fun personality took this Safari to a whole other level.

Picked up at our hotel by Miguel. Very friendly and welcoming.
Miguel started the tour by telling us what we were going to cover and where we would finish the tour.
Let’s go!!
Miguel was very informative, telling us about local history, local products and local ways of life. Pointing out trees and giving us information about them.. he was also very happy to answer any questions we had.
The tour was amazing. We also stopped off in a local village, spending time in the local farm then onto a local cafe, seeing local people and tasting local food, they were all very pleasant.
The tour was amazing, definitely recommend 5*

A must for anyone to explore the real Algarve. Carlos was exceptionally good in all respects for 4 hours trip by constantly divulging information from Careb to Cork, from Goji to White Lavender and Castle to Forest. It was fun and entertaining for whole trip and the dirt road drive for most part of the tour is awesome (not for faint hearted.

Our favourite part was the driver Gil! He told a lot about the surroundings and let us taste a lovely fruit that was next to the road. He also made clear that he would not pick the fruits of the farmers, which I appreciate.
We did not go for a swim, but if the water would have been slightly warmer, we would have definitely gone in at the waterfall.

Our tour guide, Tiego, was the BEST tour guide I have ever encountered! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and an amazing driver despite the poor conditions of the roads in the mountains and I felt so safe in his hands.
The tour covered local Flora and fauna and Tiego even stopped and took the time to pick local plants and fruits for us to smell and taste and explained in great detail the use of the plants and fruit.
Our first stop was at a goji Berry farm where we were taught all about the farming process as well as getting to taste all of the delicious products and also could purchase what we wanted too. There was no pressure to make purchases but the products were so unbelievably delicious we ended up purchasing a lot.
The next stop on the tour was the most incredible waterfall where we could even get into the water and Tiego was very patient and allowed us all the time we needed to take photos and experience the beauty of the area.
We then stopped at a little village, Alte, where we could get refreshments and use the toilet. I'd recommend stopping in the cafe and trying to freshly squeezed orange juice. It is the best I've ever had in my life!
We then made our way up to the second highest point in the Algarve where we could take in the beauty. There was also a swing for a lovely picture opportunity overlooking the beautiful landscape.
All the way on the tour Tiego was explaining all there is to know about living here and the struggles of the locals to continue their farming traditions and the affect of climate change on this historical landscape.
Overall the tour was such a good time as well as being very educational and we left on cloud 9 and so happy with our value for money.
Tiego is a credit to this company and clearly has such a passion for his job and the local area.

Thanks to George, we had a lot of fun. Beautiful scenery, a fantastic experience seeing local farms and villages. Ending up at the highest peak to watch the sun go down.
George timed all the trip to perfection. He was full of enthusiasm and lots of interesting facts and personal stories. He was a great driver who made the ride fun but we felt safe at all times.
He took us to buy fruit from local farmers and he knew lots about the trees and fruit. He told us about the history at the castle and gave us time in the perfect spots for great photos.

From start to finish this was a superb trip. We did a variety of different things from firewater tasting to swimming in a refreshing spring water river, but the star of the show was Miguel our incredible guide - he was so knowledgeable about all the natural wonders the Algarve countryside has to offer and his funny and friendly nature put us all at ease he is a real asset to the company! Highly recommend this value for money tour to anyone who wants to get away from the pool for a few hours.

It was a great way to see , as our guide said.’the real Algarve’. To see the interior from a height, to see how farming is managed under trying conditions, to sample organic products and unfortunately witness the effects of lack of rain on drying river beds was a real worthwhile experience. Finally In the heat I am so glad we did the morning tour! Thank you.
