Truly a “history” tour, not necessarily a sightseeing tour. Benny, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable of the history of Portugal and the Algarve region. He was very attentive of our interests and needs. If you want simply a sightseeing highlights tour of the Algarve, maybe find another tour. If you want to know how Portugal became what it is today, this is a wonderful tour.

Excellent full day trip. We were picked up from our hotel on time and the guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We visited four towns and had plenty of time to wander in each. The minibus was comfortable.

It was great to see a different side of the Algarve visiting the rural areas and learning about cork production and the fruits and trees of the area. Paulo was excellent with his knowledge of the area and took us to interesting places. Tasting some of the local fruits and drinks was a fun experience. A great morning out.

Great trip, would highly recommend. Great fun, 360 view spectacular. Reasonable price for a full afternoon exploring the countryside and villages. Enjoyed the firewater tasting and a nice stop off for a beer at the local village. Jeep host was friendly and informative.

Our driver / guide " Ruy" made this trip an absolute delight . His character, personality, passion and knowledge of the Algarve district really made it an awesome excursion. It was a fun day from start to end with lots of stops and adequate free time to explore these spots at your leisure. Ruy's ability to combine history and information with a sprinkling of humour really made it a great tour . Highly recommend this particular tour with Alsafari .

Highly recommend this tour, very enjoyable, great driver /guide. Also did the Eastern tour, and the safari to the Gogi farm, lovely to see the countryside away from the beach.

Gil was v informative, chatty & knowledgeable. He made seeing a different part of the area interesting. The lunch was really good. A big thank you to everyone..

The trip was very interesting and it did get us out into the countryside. The wine tour itself was very comprehensive and the lady who delivered it was lovely. We enjoyed sampling the 4 wines and the cheese and meat platter.

What an amazing tour! Our guide was fabulous. Not only was he a very nice person, friendly outgoing, he was a fund of knowledge of the history, geology, flora, fauna Do you feel better good?, and culture of the region. He went out of his way to make the trip special for all of us, making impromptu stops to show something or explain something. We stopped at the salt Flats, saw the flamingos. She’s upstairs I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants an experience of the western Algarve

Did this tour Tuesday 10th September, our driver was Ruy and we had an excellent day, Ruy was very friendly and informative. He delivered lots of informative and interesting information with lots of laughs included which made the day extra special. Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend had the most amazing evening doing this sunset tour. It was so fun and we got to try their homemade wine and jams and then we went to a small village called alto where we had the most amazing pastel de natas. Then we watched the sunset and had a 3 course meal with sangria!! so so so worth the money it’s amazing and the tour guides were amazing especially Tiago with a T. Thanks so much for such a special evening. can’t recommend this excursion enough.
