- dvfowler211200AwesomeThis was our favorite activity we did in Kauai. An absolute must do. Nate was our guide and he did a great job. Thanks Nate for a great adventure.
- Frags G00Amazing afternoon!! Book it NOW!What can I say. I booked this as a surprise for my partner and she absolutely love it. Ricardo made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and was very professional, but with a fun, cheeky chappy streak. We went out fishing and caught an Octupus, followed by several fish and then a further Octopus. We finished the trip off with a paddle a short distance to the cliffs to discover a spectacularly coloured sea cave. Hugely enjoyable from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.
- 274ilyad00Not to missAmazing experience. Beautiful coastline and very good guide Bernard Also time to swim and relax. Not to miss
- 790yuoel00Scolded cause I didn't let a pigeon drownThe nature was beautiful but the guides were horrible. Everything had to go fast and one guide who wasn't even part of our group kept yelling at us. I saw a pigeon struggling on a rock and wanted to grab it and the guide insisted on letting it drown, while i could perfectly save it - no one was in danger. And that I shouldn't forget that i'm on a tour. They only think about the money. Then they tried to leave the bird on a deserted beach, calling me crazy for saving the bird and laughing at me saying it's sick. The only thing i found sick, was their behavior.
- Mario C00Fantastic trip thanks to Joaquim!Nice guide (best ever) and nice place to visit! 2.30 hour trip along the best shores of Portugal. You can see caves and do snorkeling.
- Zaphod12500Kayaking round the caves and getting towed back but no snorkelsKayak Adventures = Kayak Tours, they are the same people. I thought this was great, the trip took about 2.5 hours, there were 6 x double kayaks per guide and we pootled along the coast looking at the caves etc, all very nice. We stopped off at a beach and were told we could go snorkelling but we were just given face masks, no snorkels which in my book isn’t snorkelling.
- Hillary N00Good timeVery friendly and helpful instructor, made the kayak trip so much fun , we all had a great time , especially enjoyed the kayaks being towed back against the tide , loved seeing all the caves and a little rest in the beach mid trip was very enjoyable
- Cassidy14400So much funWe booked a group kayak tour online for 12 people. The tour company was organized, open on time, and expecting us. We left our valuables, phones and shoes in the locker in their shop and boarded the kayaks (two people per boat). It a lot of physical exercise, but an incredibly rewarding trip. We sailed into several caves, where our guide gave us a brief history/geology lesson. (Our guide spoke English and Portuguese; you may wish to contact them ahead of time about whether other languages are available.) At the Benagil Caves, everyone got out and explored/posed for photos for 15 minutes. Then a boat towed all of us back to Praia da Batata. The water was very, chilly and if you are paddling into the wind, expect that to make you even colder. You will get wet; that's just the nature of the sport, but there was no swimming or snorkeling portion of our tour. We loved our adventure and would definitely do this again.
- El_percutador00Excellent experience, 100% recommendedThiago (our guide) was simply the best. He is a very friendly person and was always there for us. He really enjoys his job and that makes the tour so good.
- britontheroad00A reasonably well organised tour in a beautiful area but too many kayaks and motor boats in the grottos at the same timeThis is an accident waiting to happen. The grottos are quite tight and on the morning we took the tour we were in a jumble of other kayak tours and too many motor boats to count competing for access at the same time to the limited number of grottos in the area. It reminded me of attempting to view the Mona Lisa on any late July morning. Something best avoided. Unfortunately, some of the motor boat skippers were in a rush and safety was clearly a lesser priority, they were much too close on too many occasions travelling at speed to get past kayaks attempting to enter or exit the same narrow passage into one of the grottos.
- Laetitia_Ts00Nice tour with TiagoWe had a wonderful tour with our super cool guide Tiago. He showed us magical caves and grottes! We enjoyed it very much 😊 thank you
- StephenB293900Morning kayakAn excellent little trip done at a nice pace. The guide Tiago was informative and friendly. The weather was kind, it was good going on the early trip.
- sini k00A bit disappointedI did this similar kayaking excursion 3 years ago about the same time. The amount of kayaks and motorboats have increased so much. No peacefulness today, just waiting in line for the caves while the motor boats made waves. Still, the coastline is beautiful. Also, only 1.5 hours of paddling and being toed back was a surprise.
- Julie M00Kayaking Tour with TiagoI highly recommend doing a kayak tour with Kayak Adventures! Tiago was a very engaging and knowledgeable guide. He made sure that everyone felt safe and kept us away from the speed boats and helped us navigate some rougher parts of the water. He also kept a leisurely pace which helped make sure no one fell too far behind. The kayak tour was definitely the highlight of my trip and should be on everyone's to do list. Thanks Tiago!
- MichaelG1130700Kayaking adventureThis is a perfect way to view the beautiful beaches and caves of Lagos. Loads of fun, a helpful tour guide and an absolutely beautiful setting. Perfect way to spend 2 and a half hours of your day. Would recommend doing it in the morning as this is when the beaches and caves are at their most beautiful!

A brilliant trip and such a unique way to see the coastline along the Algarve. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave great insight to the local area. I was a beginner at kayaking, I would not say I found it easy but it was doable and the guide paused often to let everyone catch up and have a breather. If you are able, I would highly recommend this activity while in Lagos.

Definitely worth doing this for a couple of hours. We chose the 5:30 schedule and had a great time. Bruno was our guide and he showed us around the caves and interesting points. Two other guys in a boat followed. On the way back the kayaks get towed away by another boat making it fun for lazy teens. We also had time to swim in the sea. You can bring your phone and put it in a waterproof bag for photos during the tour.

We had an amazing kayak tour! We were a group ages 17-82. We all loved it! We got to go through the rock formations. The kayaking was great with a North wind pushing us, and then a tow back to the port. Everything was amazing from the booking until end. The double kayaks were great! We even got a swim in. It was so so beautiful! Our guide Pedro was attentive, informative, and funny! These guys are amazing! I would book with them!!!

Great experience. Beautiful, refreshing, 100% recommend. I like the smaller group option and going and out of the caves.

Gracias,
