About
I've been living in Lagos for 12 years and during this time I've learnt a great deal about the history of Portugal and the port town of Lagos. Alongside this I've picked up many secrets on great restaurants, bars and places of interest along with a bunch of money saving tips for travellers. I like to entertain so I promise a few laughs along the way. We'll finish the tour with a sweet Portuguese delicacy and hopefully a drink at my favourite bar.

We have been coming to Lagos on holiday for years and learned more in 2 hours from Brodie than had ever learned about this city before. He is a lively and engaging story-teller with great historical knowledge as well as tips about great places for food and entertaiment. Well worth booking on his tour and getting the inside track on Lagos life as well as the history.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable morning exploring the fascinating city of Lagos today with Brodie as our guide. I’m thoroughly tired of dull tour guides who bombard their captive audience with facts and figures no one really wants to know in so much detail, so Brodie was a superb and refreshing surprise. He knows all the history and facts about the many surrounding places of interest but delivers it in an upbeat and entertaining way. I Fully endorse this tour and hope that you’ll enjoy Lagos as much as our group did.
Thank you Brodie for an excellent morning.

Brodie is the perfect person to spend time with while you are in Lagos. Do his walking tour first, because this laid-back Aussie transplant loves his adopted city and he will share the history, the highlights, the do's and the don'ts, and leave you ready to enjoy your holiday. Meanwhile, his other Vagabundo Travel adventures sound like great fun. We were a little too old to sign up - but my 'inner twenty-something" would follow Brodie anywhere.

This tour is a great way to get a feel for the town and also learn a lot of interesting things about the history of the town and the country! You will have two very enjoyable hours with Brodie who is a very energetic, funny and knowledgeable guide. This tour is also great to do in the beginning of your stay in Lagos as you will get a lot of tips from Brodie as to where to eat and what to do while in Lagos and the Algarve in general. I had a really great time on the tour and the value you get here is really worth it.

I happened to chance upon this walking tour during my stay in Lagos. Brodie is a tremendously kind and easy going individual. He is very welcoming and patient. He even waited for an individual for 20 minutes. His tour is informative, full of quirks and covers enough of lagos to give you a good overview of the area. He also provides a unique PDF and has some great information. Brodie has a great demeanour and took the time to answer all of the questions posed by the group. He was also kind enough to give a portugese pastry at the end of the tour.

He should be nominated as the official walking tour ambassador for english speaking tours in lagos! Make sure you take this tour if visiting Lagos!

We met Brodie at the meeting place to find out there would only be one other fella on our tour. The four of us set off and it was apparent that this was going to be an enjoyable couple of hours and it was! Much banter in between learning some of the history of Lagos which we love. Having visited Lagos last year we did not realise there is far more to see and do. Brodie is very knowledgeable and amusing. I do not have a particularly retentive memory but I hope Brodie will be impressed that I remember the earthquake was on 1 November 1755 epicentre Lisbon. Sociedade = society educacao = education. Dom Sebastio statue was described as an astranaut?! This info will stay with me for ever. The restaurants you recommended were excellent and it was a pleasure to meet Jessica at Quay Lagos. Keep up the good work Brodie and never loose you lovely sense of humour. If you want an historical, informative fun stroll around Lagos thoroughly recommend this tour but do this early on in your visit to Lagos.

We did the this tour in June, at the beginning of the tourism season. Only the 2 of us showed up, but Brodie carried on with the tour with as much passion and energy as if we were 20. Great tour, great fun, great way to discover the city for first time visitor. Strongly recommend

A walking tour in any city is the first thing visitors should do. We found Brodies Walking Tour, based on positive reviews. We were not disappointed! In fact we learned more about Lagos than I think most locals know. In addition to the historical facts, we learned how to navigate the terrain all the way to the light house , which we did the next day.
Brodie provided us with a very relaxed and informative tour which we would recommended to any newcomer to this wonderful community.
When, not if we return to Lagos, we will definitely take Brodies expanded tour and suggest everyone to do the same.

Thank you
