What an amazing morning we had with Helena and her team! Great sunrise flight. Breathtaking views over the area we live , lovely to experience a different perspective. The team were fabulous and Helena and Daniel were awesome pilots. Helena is very generous with her knowledge as we flew around and answering lots of questions. The whole experience was concluded by a delicious champagne picnic feast.

Helena and the whole crew were great. She contacted us the night before, and even with the change of location, everything was smooth. We arrived at the location to see the crew setting up the balloon and we were filled with excitement as this was our first time. As we flew in the air, Helena was giving us the rundown of Algarve from 2000+ ft! The views were stunning, and she was an amazing pilot. She taught us the "landing" position but we landed very smoothly. We didn't have anything to eat as it was early but luckily she had a great picnic setup. We had great conversations with her and the lovely crew. Very friendly and overall wqw a lovely experience. Highly recommend!

Our family had the best experience with the whole crew of Algarve Balloons. It started with a warm welcome, continued with an expert flight crew and ended with a traditional Portuguese breakfast- champagne toast and all! It was well worth the early wake up to see the sun rise and get the best view of the Algarve. I could go on, but our family of 5 highly recommends this experience. Thank you Helena and Crew!

Helena provided the most professional and comfortable experience. It was my first time in a hot air balloon and I throughly enjoyed it. The views were spectacular! I would highly recommend people to book this if staying in The Algarve! 10/10!!😀

Our kids bought a voucher for us with Algarve Baloons. Postponed because of Covid, we finally got to fly this week. What a wonderful experience!! Helena and her team including her husband were totally professional and we had a fantastic dawn flight flying along at 20 plus knots at 800m. Landing was fun and then we had a lovely breakfast, fizz and a chat. I totally recommend a trip.

I contact Algarve Balloons trip after seeing them each morning while working in the Algarve! It was our 25th wedding anniversary and I wanted to surprise my husband with something a little bit different to a meal out or a night away! Not put off at all by the early start and got to see not only the night sky during set up but also a stunning sunrise from the air. Beautiful views and great information. Was great to be able to get involved and help with getting the balloon inflated and deflated. Would recommend to anyone!

Amazing 4 hours setting up the balloon, taking off, flying and then putting it all back into a bag! No need to worry about flying as it's so totally smooth, windless and amazingly quiet! The views from above are priceless and you learn a lot about the country too. Definitely recommend for the whole family and Helena was great communicating throughout.

I would do this again in a heartbeat. Beautiful sunrise, quiet but for the dogs barking, and you can hardly believe you're floating thousands of feet up. We could see the mountains around Sines on the west coast, Sagres at the southwest tip of Europe, Lagos, all the way to Portimao on the southern coast, all at once. Stunning sight. The whole crew, and the whole experience, are a delight.

Helena and the rest of the family were faultless. From their friendly, inclusive manner to their level of professionalism, the beautiful views of the algarve and the amazing breakfast upon landing, worth every penny. Organised as a surprise Bday present for my GF and she was ecstatic (even running on 24 hours without sleep)

A brilliant and gentle flight, rising with the sun above the Algarve countryside and drifting with the wind on a bird's eye view of the rolling hills. The early roused dogs, barking at the extraordinary red blob passing overhead. Eventually settling into a mown hayfield alongside a small orange grove where the smiling farmer's wife joined us for a champagne breakfast. Picture perfect end to the trip. Pilot Helen and son and ground crew - Miguel - were perfect hosts. Highly recommended.

Just had the most amazing experience in hot air balloon flying over the Algarve with the amazing Helena and her team. We met at Lagos and took off near to Monchique. Helena is an amazing pilot and took time to make sure everyone was calm and enjoying the sights. A great flight over Alvor and Portimao and landing in a field. Champagne breakfast followed with a lovely relaxed chat amongst our group. An unforgetable experience. Give it a go

My partner and I met Helena and her team bright and early (5.30am) at Lagos Aerodrome. We were transported by jeep, picking up another couple on the way, to the take off site. Coffee and biscuits were provided whilst the team got the balloon ready, which was a fascinating process in itself. Helena gave us a safety briefing and then we were ready to go. The flight lasted for about an hour and twenty minutes but was over far too quickly. The views were absolutely stunning! Helena was very informative and pointed out features on the ground. Landing was a fun experience and the support team arrived shortly thereafter. Once the balloon was packed away, we were treated to a tasty breakfast picnic, including champagne! It was nice to chat, hear stories of other flights and relax. When the picnic was over, we were transported back to Lagos Aerodrome. A fantastic experience and thoroughly recommended. I'd also like to mention that Helena's communication with us was excellent throughout the booking period and flight confirmation (which unsurprisingly is subject to weather conditions).
