We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Miguel. He was knowledgeable and answered our many questions thoughtfully. The sites were amazing. The lunch was delicious. All in all an excellent experience.

Very short and easy route with parts that felt like you were in a movie. Beautiful vegetation. This place is totally worth it.

My friend and I really enjoyed our tour with Miguel. We could tell he was a little under the weather, but that did not stop him from giving us a great tour of the island. He was very funny and informative. I would definitely take another tour with Miguel.

Elizabethe was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, personable and kind. The tour included all of the sites listed and we did not feel rushed. The restaurant for lunch was authentic, cooked the way I remembered from my vovo. You will not be disappointed.

I had a highly disappointing experience with this tour company. My booking was rescheduled due to a lack of registrants, which was inconvenient and messed up my plans. When the tour finally happened, I discovered that the cheese tasting, which was included when I booked, was not part of the program any more. This was a significant letdown as it was one of the main reasons I chose this tour. Additionally, the company charged for airport pickup, despite advertising it as free for group members. This level of miscommunication and lack of transparency is unacceptable, even if the tour itself was great. I do not recommend this tour company to anyone.

Our tour guide was amazing but the company was incredibly disorganized, they never sent our booking details, we had to call them to confirm they were picking us up when we arrived at the airport. The airport pickup was included in the cost but we were charged 20 euros, their reasoning was that someone should have told us that it wasn't included, even when it's in writing in the description of what's included in the tour. BTW the normal cost from our hotel to the airport is 8 euro so they charged us almost 3x the normal amount. Interestingly they only accepted cash as a payment for this surprise fee so we had to drive around until we found an open ATM. The cheese tasting, which was also included, was not provided. They said they had not been doing it for a while but forgot to update the info on trip advisor and other platforms. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else.

Tour guy : 10/10. Tour operator: 1/10 Be careful of this scam. We booked it weeks in advance, with the option of pick-up at the airport which, through the website, does not mention any extra cost (the airport is 7 minutes from the pick-up point and a taxi costs between 6-8 euros). The pick-up was scheduled for 9:00 according to the reservation, and they arrived after 9:30, so we waited 45 minutes thinking it was included in the tour. At the end of the tour, they told us it wasn’t, and made us pay 20 euros which we didn’t have because we were never notified of that charge. They excused themselves saying I should have received a notification that never arrived, and I wasn’t charged when selecting the airport as the starting point. Not to mention that they charged me three times the cost of a normal taxi after the service. Since we didn’t have cash, we had to look for ATMs for 20 minutes. Terrible, making the rest of the group wait. They also promote a cheese tasting that you never get, excusing it by saying they no longer work with the cheese makers, but they still have it promoted on TripAdvisor. The guide was very professional, but these experiences where they charge for services not delivered and charge a ridiculously abusive amount for a 6-minute car ride without prior notice ruined our experience and that of the rest of the people on the tour. I do not recommend it and save yourself from this scam by looking for another company.

Rafaela gave us a very comprehensive tour…not just history, but geography, culture, and a sense of life on Terceira in 2024. She was friendly. Spoke excellent english and was accommodating to one of our group using a walker. Would highly recommend. Mary. Canada.

We decided to do a day tour even though we had rented a car, so that we could become familiar with the roads and avoid driving through the heavy fog that was present for a couple of days. Our guide Alexandria is very personable and knows a lot about the history and indigenous plants of the island. She was competent when driving through the pea soup fog on the mountains, which I wouldn’t have wanted to do. Lunch was just ok with indifferent service. The cheese tasting was understated. There is a gift shop with lots of local products to chose from but it felt like that was the point, not the experience. It would be helpful to have bottled water and umbrellas on board. Taking a tour gave us a good opportunity to stop at many look offs and go into the national parks without stressing about road conditions. The highlight was going into the volcanic cave and walking the trail around the furnas. Fantastic and not to be missed! Oh and the peacock, who kindly opened his fan for us after we flattered him with many pictures. Overall a great experience with a lovely young woman who has a terrific sense of humour. Great way to see the island in one day. We enjoyed a fantastic local meal, great company and a good guide to explain everything we saw.

We liked a lot our guide in the tour - she was very caring, warm person, explaining a lot and in very interesting way the things about the island and the spots we visited. We covered also many view points and had the feeling we really saw the island. What we think can be improved were the lunch and cheese tasting. Lunch in very industrial area, a bit smelly place, with good meat but not very tasty finish. And in general the atmosphere there was more like work canteen. Cheese tasting was not organized as we expected, we were in hall next to traditional goods from Azores shop & ice cream place, with the few slices of the cheese, the whole “tasting” was maybe 3 min thing.

A beautiful part of Teceira that is not part of the coast line as amazing as that is. Medium to hard hike. Great guide.
