I have planned trips for my family several times a year for over 20 years…we’ve covered almost every country in Western Europe. I rely on local tour companies with local contacts and knowledge to coordinate all aspects. Tours For You was absolutely amazing to work with on our trip to Portugal. They were very thoughtful in tailoring the perfect hotels, terrific guides, cool events, unique visits including a graffiti experience, and fantastic meals (we are foodies and own restaurants). They were extremely responsive when we needed to make real-time adjustments. They are an A+ agency.

There aren't enough adjectives, to pour out of a pitcher, to describe our two-week trip to Portugal that we just returned from a week ago today. We spen most of the time in Sagres, and a few days in Lisbon and surroundings. Tours for You (Portugal) orchestrated and facilitated a couture trip for us as a special trip commemorating many negative and positive aspects of our life in the last few months. Whether it be hotels, restaurants, VIP sedans, drivers and guides, the entire trip went off flawlessly. We took trains, planes and automobiles and all went off without a hitch. Simplest way to describe our experience: door to door service for Lisbon’s top attractions with its most knowledgeable tour guide(Luishe). Our family of 6, who can be quite needy, had an amazing time with two half day tours of Lisbon(St. George/Belém areas) and Sintra. Luishe serenaded us with the monuments’ historical context and accommodated our every request. I cannot forget our trustworthy driver, George, that brought us to and fro all the attractions with a final transfer to Porto. Highly recommend this company and especially Luishe and George. They will make sure you and yours enjoy your time in Lisbon.

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Portugal and we wanted to express our appreciation for the part "Tours for You" played in making it a memorable trip. Specifically we want to compliment our tour guides as well as our driver for three days. They were all informative, professional and delightful to spend time with. I would like to thank the team at Tours for You for an excellent tour in Portugal. We had a total of four of us in our group and we were taken on an all day tour of the Arrábida region. Our tour was booked with Joana Brilha and our guide was Susana. We were picked up in a luxury Mercedes bus that had iced cold waters waiting for us and we were able to add our own drinks to the cooler as well. We also had the ability to connect to their on-board WIFI. The driver of the bus was with us the entire time and stayed with the bus to ensure that all of our belongings were safe and protected while we toured at various stops. Susana spoke perfect English and it was easy to understand her. We went to six different stops including castles, palaces, and majestic churches. We were allowed to basically say what type of tour we wanted to do and they crafted the perfect day for us with multiple stops. One of our stops included a great lunch visit (that we paid for) and a fantastic winery tour with a private wine-tasting and private tour through the winery. The only potential downside was that the tour was a bit pricey at over 1200 Euro, but it was certainly a VIP tour and we felt special. If budget isn't your most important priority, I would say this is a great company and you should book your tours with them. If you are looking more a budget tour without any frills, perhaps you could look elsewhere.

Tours for you helped us travel throughout Portugal with our two sons ages 25 and 22. They picked us up from the airport in Porto and took us to our hotel. We had the most amazing walking tour of Porto the next day. On our last day in Porto they delivered our rental car to the hotel and on our first day in Lisbon they picked up the car fr the hotel. At our last stay in Lisbon, we had both a walking tour and a bike tour of the city. They were both incredible and informative. They picked us up at 2:30 am from our hotel to catch our flight home in Lisbon. I can’t say enough how AMAZING this company was to work with. If you’re going to Portugal, you must use them!!’

She knew my taste for design, culture and boutique hotels and guides who offer history, passion and warmth. Exhausting as constantly overwhelmed by learning, new discoveries and beauty. I had a phenomenal experience with Alicia, Madelena and the Tours for You Portugal Team. Being very familiar with Virtuoso, I found the company via search. I was looking to create a special and elaborate experience for a Birthday trip to the north and Algarve regions of Portugal. My plan was to add time in these regions to complement a vacation to Switzerland. I wanted something that would give us the maximum advantage for seeing and doing all we could within a short amount of time and the team delivered. For Lisbon, I was able to coordinate a private tour of Sintra including a private transfer and driver at the airport. We arrived bright and early and met by our guide and driver with bottled water and in car WiFi. We checked in to our amazing hotel where we indulged in a top notch breakfast before departing for our half day tour. Our guide provided an epic day in Sintra in record high temps allowing us to see the beautiful Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleria. Both sites were stunning and the guide had the perfect blend of history and charisma. That afternoon our vehicle dropped us at the timeout market to enjoy the top neighborhoods and that evening we at at Bistro 100 Maneiras, one of the cities top restaurants where the team was able to secure our reservation. For our time in the South of Portugal we were booked in a phenomenal hotel on a cliff with a private beach. Meals were to die for and so was our private boat outing from Marina De Lagos. We saw dolphins, explored sea caves, and enjoyed good food and champagne as we celebrated my birthday. That night we dined at the fabulous Mar D’Fora and all was to perfection. To extend the celebration the team even booked us a custom wine tasting experience at a resort in Albufeira within less than 24 hours to make our last day even more special. The experience was phenomenal and we even bought wine and enjoyed Pasties de Nata on site just because we wish we had more in Lisbon. That night we dined at the phenomenal All Beef. If traveling to Portugal I highly recommend this company. They are quick, efficient, and know that crafting a divine experience is an art and they handle it as such. There were no hiccups, worries, or concerns. They don’t fall short, they over deliver. I will be booking with them again when I return to Portugal. Our driver Andrea took us all around Lisbon to Sintra and then to the north of Portugal. Andreas knowledge of history was simply amazing he was informative on everything plus he was the best driver. We had booked a private tour to Fatima. Due to illness, we had to cancel the tour on one days notice. The company was very understanding and wished us a speedy recovery. On return to the United States, we were extremely gratified to learn that Tours for You-Day Tours had fully refunded the price of the tour. I would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in their service in the Lisbon area.

We just got back from two weeks in Portugal. Having never been, our travel agent coordinated with Tours for You for a wonderful adventure for our family of 7. We started with three days in Lisbon where they organized a fun bike tour, a sailing tour of the River and a private tour of the Aquarium. We then headed to the Algarve where he had another great sailing tour in Lagos. We spent several days at the beautiful beach and resort before flying to Madeira for four nights. It was a wonderful and unforgettable adventure for our family. Our kids range in ages 5-13 and everyone was happy!

Awesome day trip. Tiago, our guid, was very friendly, good at explaining things, and provided us a lot of good advice. In the end, we were back at the hotel in the evening, full of good pictures. Would definitely repeat!
