This was honestly the best tour I have had in my whole life. It’s a journey into the real heart and soul of Portugal. and so many surprises along the way. João, our guide, is knowledgeable, friendly, wise, and deeply passionate about his country’s land, people, culture, and future. He helps you expand your perspective to understand things about Portuguese culture that you otherwise might not be exposed to. This trip quite honestly changed my life. I can’t recommend it enough. This tour guide company is everything I want to see more of in Portugal. Locals having a say in the direction of tourism in their country, and socially and environmentally responsible tourism that promotes a different and healthier way of being in a place.

If you want to have an amazing day in Portugal I really recommend you Keepitlocaltours! We had Duarte and he was the best guide I ever had ! He was so friendly, me and my sister had the feeling he was already part of the family :) I think we had also luck because our group was awesome! But we saw incredible secret places that we never tought we would be able to see in Portugal! Where we were less lucky is that it rained practically all day, and even so Duarte managed to make this a special and unforgettable day! I never tought a day could get this magical even with that much rain so I really thank him for that :) Duarte will also tell you everything he knows about all what you're going to see and it was really interesting. And the little surprise at the end was really amazing and kind! Even if we actually had a lot of other surprises during the whole tour !! I can’t say enough good things about Duarte and the rest of the team. We were in Lisbon from Canada for a friend’s wedding and had our previous tour guide from another company cancel last minute .... but thank god they did (since this tour could not have been better). They really make you feel at home and comfortable and modified the trip on the fly for what we wanted to see. Extremely energetic and outgoing guides who will go the extra mile (and then some) to make sure you get the most of your time in Lisbon. Amazing tour!

This tour was well worth the money. We hit a ton of spots and our tour guide, Bernardo was awesome. The tours are small and since we were in a small group anyway, it ended up being a private tour. The lunch at the small restaurant was one of the best I had in Portugal.

I’ve taken many tours in the places I’ve visited and this was by far the best. Duarte made everyone feel like a local for a day. My whole family enjoyed every aspect of the day from the conversation & the stories to the palace to the beach and def the local road we took. A tour I would Def take again.
