Everything was really well organised, and Ivo was telling us a lot about each place, including things we saw on the way. I really wanted to see the Castelo dos Mouros, and even though this wasn’t officially part of the trip, Ivo made this possible. He left me clear instructions on where to go and how to meet up with the group again, and was in general a complete star ! Our journey was truly delightful, especially thanks to Antonio, our driver, who was incredibly friendly, communicative, and skilled at driving. We managed to visit all the planned destinations, and Antonio also recommended a visit to the Palacio Nacional de Sintra. In addition, he suggested various local food and drinks that were both affordable and delicious. I had the chance to enjoy cheesecake at Casa Piriquita and taste ginja at a local shop.
The views inside and outside the Palacio Nacional de Sintra were breathtaking. Antonio wisely advised us to purchase tickets to visit the gardens of the Palacio da Pena to avoid long queues, unless we wanted to buy tickets to enter the palace itself. Although the weather was foggy during our visit to the Palacio da Pena, we were still able to take some photos outside and enjoy snacks at the palace’s restaurant and cafeteria, which offered reasonably priced meals.
During our trip to Cascais, it rained heavily, but Antonio kindly gave us a tour of the city by car. He even lent us raincoats and recommended some good local restaurants with affordable prices. I had the chance to visit Bijou de Cascais, where I enjoyed some incredibly delicious pastries.
Despite the continued rain on our way back to Lisbon, Antonio graciously dropped each of us off at our respective hotels. This was a truly memorable experience, and we are very grateful for Antonio's attentive service.

My sister and I booked this trip on via tour. We are very excited to attend this tour and visit the castle, the coastline and the surrounding cities. Our guide was outstanding! Very informative along the way and pointed outside of interest. Did a great job driving always very safe and let a great tour along the waydrove along the coast line and put it out some beautiful spots and restaurants and even let us take some pictures. Took us to a beach city to drop us off. Show us where to eat lunch and some scenic places to take a scenic drive home also highly recommend Driver.

One of the coolest trips I’ve ever done, Sintra was absolutely stunning in both the town and the Pena Palace and Cascais had beautiful views of the ocean. Ivo was a wonderful tour guide! He was punctual and got us where we needed to be before the crowds arrived, shared lots of history about Portugal, advice on great places to check out, had great recommendations for food, and did an amazing job keeping the group together. Our tour guide, Ivo, was knowledgeable, flexible with our schedule, responsive and an overall delight to speak with. We had a beautiful fu day tour of Sintra, Peña Palace, and Cascais. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn and explore this beautiful area of Portugal

We went to Sintra with Ivo.
What a guy! Definitely knows a lot, and very funny as well!
He recommended a restaurant in Cascais and said that it is the best authentic Portuguese food.
Restaurant was called Luzmar. That was the BEST food we tried in Portugal! Arruz de Marisco (shellfish rice) was OUT OF ThIS WORLD!!!
That dish is good to feed 3-4 people for sure!!

On the scale of 5 I would rate Ivo at 20!!!

The tour was so beautiful. Our tour guide Ivo was very knowledgeable and nice and he gave us many tips for where to go off on our own. All of the driving was filled with facts and we learned a lot. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Went to sintra, pena tour with the best tour guide possible. Very happy with Rui, he is very knowledgeable about the tour and even on portugal and lisbon.
