Best tour I've ever been on! This trip was well worth the money and HIGHLY recommend for any out of town visitor. Margarita felt like a family member, she was kind funny, smart and helped my family and me have the best experience. This is a 5 star tour around Lisboa that we will cherish forever and never forget. Thank you to this company and to the TOP ALL STAR - Margarita! (I's ask for her by name if I knew in advance how fabulous she was.)

George did a great job getting us to and around Sintra. He added so much color to the trip with his historical facts during the ride and his commentary about Portugal and their people. Loved his passion!! It was wonderful to have a local who could give us the real feel of Portugal. Sintra is a cute town (busy) and we had time to try their famous pastry Queijada. The Pena Palace is very beautiful inside but be warned..VERY crowded (you move through like an assembly line) and in getting there, please note that traffic is a nightmare. Be sure to get to the palace gates (where you pick up the 10 min bus to the Palace) AT LEAST 45min before your ticket timestamp. We barely made for our noon timestamp even with great planning. Overall, a much easier way to see Sintra with the private driver…worth it!

We had a series of 3 transfers (Lisbon to Lagos, Lagos to Porto with a stop in Obidos, and Porto to Lisbon with a stop in Nazare)! Jorge was our driver/guide and is very friendly and helpful and provided great restaurant recommendations. We had fun on the transfers and were able to relax knowing that we were in good hands!

My daughter and I did the half-day private Sintra tour from Lisbon. Pretty sure Felipe was our guide/driver and, yes he looks exactly like Gerard Butler. He was lovely, very engaging and eager to share his wealth of knowledge about the sites we were about to visit. First up was the Moorish Castle. We practically had the place to ourselves. Next up was the Aladdin like Pena Palace. I bought entrance tickets and transportation tickets for the little bus that takes you up the big hill to gate beforehand. This place was more crowded so, if you don't want to wait on lines to buy entrance ticket(s), buy them online beforehand. You could spend alot of time here if you want to see the gardens (we didn't). After that, we went to the charming town of Sintra..Felipe dropped us off for a bit so we could walk around, sample the yummy pastries, and eat lunch. Last was a visit to Quinta da Regaleira - a Dracula like, slightly foreboding castle that is the home of the famous Initiation Well. This was my favorite. Walking down that circular well, getting darker as you descend. Fabulous. Do it. The day was overcast so that really added to the whole experience. We were picked up at our hotel around 9am and dropped back off around 3:30. We had a great day!

We had an excellent time on our tours! Felipe was our guide and he was friendly and informative. We saw so many wonderful places in a very short time, thanks to his careful planning.

If you want 0 anxiety, comfortable, informative and pleasurable tour, then look no further. Fantastic Tour is an excellent choice. We were lucky to have Felipe (Gerald Butler look-alike) as our guide. He was attentive to our needs and made the tour hassle-free. Further, he was an amusing raconteur. The perfect way to see Sintra and the surrounding area. Carlos was flexible and helpful with the bookings and Felipe was the ideal tour guide.

While the views were beautiful and the area wonderful I would not recommend the company Tripadvisor used for this tour. The tour guide was nearly impossible to get any straight answers out of on where we were going, what time we were expected back in Lisbon, etc. the tour was scheduled for 9 hours and it ended up taking 12 1/2 hours. We got back so late the restaurants were all closed in Lisbon and no one ate dinner. The trip also included a boat ride which we didn’t pay for until we arrived in the Algarve and the only choice the tour guide gave us was with a company he was obviously enjoying some extra compensation with for requiring us to use him. The boat ride company agent was a fast talking smart aleck who shouldn’t be associated with TripAdvisor. We have traveled for years and often use tour companies. Never again with TripAdvisor. Good luck if you decide to use this company.

I took this trip as the only client/passenger and I enjoy every minute of it. Carlos made sure everything is set up as planned prior to the date of the trip notifying me by email, Jorge, my driver is such a nice guy and we chatted a bit on our way to Algarve which made the long drive a pleasant one. I felt like a VIP starting with the car I was accommodated in, the pre-arranged boat trip and the oceanfront restaurant reserved for me. This is one trip I can brag to my friends that made me feel a celebrity. Thanks Carlos and Jorge for giving me great customer service and memories of your country. I'll be using your company when I'm back and you bet that I'll be recommending your company as well to my friends and family.

The tour was excellent, given by a knowledgeable guide named Jorge Santos. He made our day the most memorable of our stay in the Iberian Peninsula. The hotel pick up was a few minutes early. During the entire trip he was making sure that we were comfortable, getting all the information, and if we had any questions. With his experience, he was able to avoid the crowds. This made the experience more enjoyable. We recommend this tour to truly get to know many facts of Portugal’s history. The only disappointment was that we did not visit Bathala, which was mentioned in our tour confirmation.

We booked this tour for the last day of our 2 week European adventure. It was our only day in Portugal, and we were looking for something a little more laid back. Jorge was our driver/guide and from the moment we met him, he had us contemplating moving to Portugal. He spoke about Portugal with love and it really brought us into the experience. We didn't have an agenda, so Jorge drove us around to each central location in Sintra so that there was minimal walking and told us the history before giving us free time to explore. It was absolutely breathtaking! The mixture of old architecture with the beautiful flora in the area was the perfect finale to our trip. Jorge was super friendly and knowledgeable and went way above and beyond for us. After our amazing tour and being dropped off at the airport, I realized that I had forgotten a small bag in the back seat of the tour van. Jorge dropped what he was doing and drove all the way back to the airport to make sure that it was returned before our flight took off. I can not recommend this tour enough and will definitely be booking again when we return to the area. Thank you again Jorge!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed having Filipe drive us to and from Sintra, deal with the traffic and parking, and talk to us along the way about Portuguese history, the town and monuments, as well as daily life in Portugal. Filipe was a very good guide - he spoke excellent English, was very talkative and friendly, and was a really relaxed and skillful driver which was a blessing under the driving conditions in Sintra, which were chaotic and very crowded. He was late picking us up at our B&B due to an accident on the bridge he was on, but he kept us informed of his progress so it was no big deal. He let us pick and choose what we wanted to do, he extended the tour by driving us back via Cascais on the coast, and dropped us off near Castelo de Sao Jorge which saved us some walking. Overall it was the perfect way to get in a visit to Sintra without having to deal with the logistics. Thanks, Filipe!

Jorge was very informative and friendly. We were able to see more sites than I anticipated because he knew how to navigate the roads and ticket purchase. He brought us to a wonderful small restaurant for lunch. A perfect way to see Sintra and all it offers!
