Great experience. The mountain/hills of Madeira are beutyful. Exploring with Fabio, a local guide that knows the area and the people was pleasent experience. Taste Poncha and Nikita with locals is something people need to try. The taste and price is quite different from the tourist places close to the beach. I higly recomend tour with Lokoloko and Fabio. We took another tour (MTB Trail Experience and Big Game Fishing and Sittika at the Lokolok office is very helpful and has great knowledge about available activities. And both the E-bike and regular MTB were great.

Did the canyoning level 1 with Lokoloko, I loved it. Nacho and Mario, though young, have a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise in what they do. They made it so much fun but all the while being extremely safe. They were so empathetic, patient and calming to two of the group who felt uneasy about heights. I cannot recommend this experience and the company enough. I forgot my wallet leaving my apartment, I asked the staff if they could put a payment through on my phone tap and give me the 10 euro in order for me to be able to get the bus back to funchal. Instead, Mario, in his own car, "The MarioMobile" dropped me all the way back to Funchal. If you are booking experiences in Madeira, these are the ones to book through. We did the kayaking and snorkelling tour and it was a stunning experience - a must-do for your holiday. Our guide Thiago was amazing in being informative about the area, keeping us safe in quite choppy conditions, enabling us freedom to move about in our own pace to the underwater reserve in the kayak and when it came to snorkelling. He was also really bouncy and energetic, making the activity really enjoyable; especially with the end of day sea diving extravaganza in the end. He's full of adrenaline and it rubs off on everyone! As for the snorkelling, the experience was mind-blowing - the water was so blue, warm and crystal clear. You can really capture the fishes along the reefs and rocks nibbling at the rocks - swimming with the fish really tops the experience making it worthwhile in the holiday. To sum up, make sure you book this as a must-do - well worth it!

Very nice tour with a great guide (Fabio), who not only showed us the way, but on the way down told nice stories about Madeira and (his personal) history. Unfortunately I was moved from the challenging tour to the easiest one and one of the others from the group clearly lacked MTB experience and stamina. Therefore we had to keep a slow speed and pick the easiest trails, so the experience was less sporty than expected. The good news was that I had more than enough time to enjoy the view and take pictures.

We had a great day with Lokoloko in the best surroundings. The guides made us feel safe and challenged us to do rappels and jumps.

Great cycle last week. At the end of an action packed week where we canyoned, kayaked and snorkeled with Lokoloko, we cycled! We were unsure of how intense the trail would be, the hills looked big and bikes heavy.... but worry not. The mountain bikes are easy to ride, the brakes trustworthy and this gentle tour was great fun. Brought by minibus to starting point, we free-wheeled downhill on roads before joining a levada. We thoroughly enjoyed going on quiet trails through eucalyptus woods. No big hills to climb. Finished off back at the office having cycled over 20km, dropping over 1000m and didn't break a sweat. Was a lot of fun & we all finished with grins on our faces. Thanks guys for a great week.

Best decision I ve made this trip! I had such an incredible day doing canyoning! Marcos and Paulo were absolutely brilliant and gave us the best day! All was safe as well and we could trust them 1000% as they were there every step of the way. So much fun thank you so much!

This is something that everyone has to do while they are in Madeira and is an experience that I will always remember. We left from the lokoloko storefront and traveled about 25 minutes into the mountain. We were given wetsuits, helmets and climbing shoes to change into. We started with a minor hike and then began the fun. We first descended down small waterfall and then hiked around and through the proceeding streams. We came to a 25-meter waterfall we repelled down. From there, we spent the next couple of hours traveling through the valley coming across a dozen or more waterfalls. We had the opportunity to swim, jump from cliffs into the water and repel down waterfalls. The scenery was beautiful as we were tucked into the valley of a large mountain range. We had a large rainstorm a few days prior which led to a ton of waterflow which made the event even more fun. The trip group consisted of 2 guides and 6 people which was a great size. Everyone on the tour, including the guides had a blast. The guides made sure to take a lot of pictures that were then shared with us once we had finished. One of the couples of the trip came back to Madeira just to come canyoning again and another couple booked a trip for the following day. I would 100% do this again and think it was the best experience I had while on the island.

Lokoloko are a great company to book your excursions through, they provide you with super friendly, knowledgeable team members and a very welcoming atmosphere at their Canico de Baxio branch. We booked to do a hike with them for Pico Areiro to Pico Ruivo but due to landslides the trip was changed to accommodate the closure and instead we hiked from achada do teixeira to Pico Ruivo, we were fully informed about this prior to booking and we were more than happy with the alternative. We would fully recommend Lokoloko to future travellers and we will be using them again in the future.

Great and caring staff, fun activities, would strongly recommend canyoning lvl 2! Would recommend to do as a small group!
