Excellent Nuns Valley tour. With fantastic views a walk to the top of the mountain with stunning views. Our coach driver and guide (Tio) was so knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth the trip. Thank you again happy tours.

A really enjoyable half day levada walk. Our multilingual Madeiran tour guide (didn’t get her name🥰) was so friendly and informative about the area, history and flora. Our cheerful coach driver made sure we arrived and returned safely. Midway cafe stop was a treat with delicious homemade cakes. Thank you Happy Tours

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the east. We did another Happy Tours tour a few years ago and we're a little underwhelmed (the guide just didn't seem at all engaged) so we're a little unsure whether to book this one or not... Anyway, we were looking for a day out and fancied seeing the traditional houses in Santana so took the plunge! Our guide Hugo was engaging and knowledgeable. The viewpoint at the Pico do Arieiro was just breathtaking and probably the highlight of the trip. The full day tour was well filled (didn't feel we were just hanging around for long periods) and the minibus smooth and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Louis, our guide/driver, was excellent! His knowledge of Madeira is second to none and he took us to places he thought we would love (we did), not just the tourist spots. Because the tours are in small vans/minibuses they can access areas the big coaches can’t and really personalise the itinerary to suit your requirements. Also, great value for money - a third of the price of the tours offered on our cruise ship.

It was lucky only 2 of us on board. Nico was knowledgeable and introduced nice treats at Nuns valley. He gave us a private tour to the museum on the side. He was very good to tail the trip for us that he drove us to Prair Formosa rather than Camara de Lobos. We enjoy the trip very much.

Very enjoyable trip with an excellent tour guide, Nico. Comfortable mini bus and Nico was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had good weather and saw lots of places we would not have seen without a guided tour. Recommended.

We used Happy tours for the second time after going on the go west tour from a family recommendation and will definitely be passing the recommendation on! Insightful, helpful tour guides (ours today was Hugo) and great views of the whole island, will definitely be using again next time me and my fiance are back on the island.

An excellent day out walking through forest and mountain paths. Our guide was outstanding, frequently stopping to point out sites of interest and the different flora and fauna. The walk is advertised as moderate, not to challenging though expect many steps up and down!! The walk offers some awe inspiring views and enhances ones appreciation of the beauty of Madeira. Finally, our guide was pretty impressive in the service he provided. Jorge was informative, attentive and possessed a wicked sense of humour!
