Picked up at the hotel and it really was fun going up the mountains. May not be the quickest form of transport, but was brilliant and different. Madeira is a beautiful island and touring by Tuk Tuk is a unique way of enjoying its many features. As we wanted to go on the downhill basket ride after the tour Luis adapted his schedule waited for us at the bottom of the ride and then took us back to our hotel. It is something we will remember for the rest of our lives. The beauty of Madeira is incredible, the open TukTuk tour was the absolutely best way to see everything, our driver/guide Fabio was incredible in his knowledge and friendliness, the Nun's Valley is absolutely spectacular, and to top it all off, we show up during the Chestnut Festival/All Saint's Day Celebration in the Village in the Nun's Valley. We hit the Lottery on this!! It's sad that we could only get a glimpse of all this, the ship was only there 7 hours.....Written 24 November 2023

The island has some astonishingly steep hills, but once Andrea had got us up high, we had some amazing views. Our friends hired another tuktuk with Luis and we followed them around. Great tour ! Highly recommend when in Madeira. Our driver and guide extraordinaire Ricardo was wonderful. He speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. He safely drove us all over the island stopping at beautiful sites while telling us about the history of Funchal and Madeira. He was very courteous, funny and knowledgeable about the country. The tuktuk is fun and able to go to areas the busses cannot. The weather was beautiful and cool. Perfect for the ride through the city. We travel a lot and this was one of the best tours we have had. Highly highly recommend. This is a great company. We booked the wrong date and the owner made it happen.

One of the best tours we have had on our travels. Our wonderful guide Ricardo took us all over Funchal. He stopped at many sites where we could take some incredible pictures. He knows everything about Madeira since he was born and raised there. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. The tuktuk was so much fun and the weather was incredible! I highly recommend this company if you want to know and see Madeira. Beautiful island !

We went on several trips with Tukway and it was a great way to see Madeira. We were able to decide what we wanted to do and did it at our own pace. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Really enjoyed the experience.
