This experience from beginning to end exceeded our expectations. Not only did we get a variety (full glasses) of wines, but we went on an incredible history tour of the city getting to see Porto in a new light. This is a must for any traveller whether you have been to Porto or not before.

Barbara was knowledgeable, passionate and wonderful. Our tour was informative, the foods and wines were great and the city is amazing.

Great learning about the city and its history! Our guide was very informative. She also mentioned the Imersive experience at Clerigo which was awesome and the most beautiful book which was so cool.

An excellent informative tour that was casual yet we learnt so much. Covered everything we wanted and the guide was brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour and afterwards we returned to some of the places to explore further, especially the market

Guide was just great…great introduction to Porto…just 6 of us. We were in front of church pillars at 9:40 for 10 pm start. Didn’t find guide. Left. Guide called 10 minutes later and went back. 2 other couples found him. Not sure went wrong.

Our guide Mia was amazing and provided us with a wealth of information that really helped us to find our feet, and make the most of the short time we had in Porto - highly recommended!

Mariana, the tour leader, was perfect. She is a local with an infectious love for Porto. She took us through lovely streets and to great places that we would have missed on our own. And gave us both an entertaining and a very informative tour. Her English is very good and she has a pleasant and clear voice making her easy to hear and understand. She had obviously planned routes involving less hilly routes than she could have. We came away from our three hr trip with a love of Porto and a desire to come back, and, based on Mariana, a love of the people of Portugal. Porto is hilly. I’m not an overfit 71 yr old, but I was able to keep up. Highly recommend.

Our private tour was great! Rosa Reis was our wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and courteous! I highly recommend it.

This walking tour is a very good way to know Porto. Our tour guide was very good and had great knowledge about the places we visited. She was very friendly and caring. There was a little misunderstanding in the beginning about the meeting point, but the tour organizer solved it perfectly.

Tour Guide Mia was very friendly and very informative. She made sure every one in our group of 13 or so understood her narrative and seemed passionate about sharing her knowledge of her home city. The city is very noisy and busy but she was patient and guided us very well.

Our guide was from Porto and his knowledge and passion for his city shone through. It was a nice small group of 6 so we could all hear and see everything being pointed out. We learned not just about Porto but also the history of Portugal, the food, music, and all sorts. Very unscripted and entertaining. We saw lots of other tours going on - big groups with ear pieces, groups on segways, in tuc tucs and we are in no doubt we made the right decision to go with our tour. We would thoroughly recommend it.

We had such great time. The guide, Mariana was great, food was gorgeous and people in the restaurants were all so nice. Mariana knew about Porto so well and it was nice to be guided by someone really loves the town. We stopped at 3 restaurants and all the places provided beautiful Portuguese food with explanation which was interesting and yummy. We felt very welcomed by the restaurant staff. I am really glad I joint the tour.

We did the Private Walking Tour with the Livraria Lello this morning. My wife and daughter enjoyed this tour and our guide was amazing. However I did not enjoy this tour at all. It simply did not interest me and seemed to me to be an expensive waste of three hours.

Carlos is an amazing tour guide! He is very kind, professional and fun! My daughter and I did two days of trips with him on the Douro. Both included delicious lunches and time at swimming spots. Be aware the Douro is rocky so some wet shoes would be a good idea for when you go swimming! Beautiful cruising both days! One day we went to a farm and wine tasting. He will curate the tour as you like. Boat is very comfortable but note no shade so don’t forget sunscreen! Easy meet up at the marina. Don’t miss out Carlos is one of a kind!
