Our private food tour with Eugenia was amazing. She was a lovely guide and was very thorough with everything during the tour. The selection of restaurants and shops were excellent! There was so much delicious food and drink to be had! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a fabulous evening exploring the food and wines of Athens!

Eugenia was the perfect guide. A passion for both Greek history and culinary delights. The meal was incredible. The olive oil tasting was a unique experience as was the wine tasting. All hosts were very hospitable and engaging. I thoroughly recommend this tour as a perfect introduction to Greece.

Greeking.me was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Their communication was excellent and everything was well organized. Our tour guide was wonderful, knowledgeable, and he interacted well with the children in our group. Both the children and adults in our large group loved the tour. We highly recommend it!

The team at greeking.me helped to customize a shore excursion for our group of 11 family members ranging from 24 to 82. We were picked up at the port and taken to the Acropolis. My parents did not feel comfortable with the terrain, so the helpful staff at greeking.me had already suggested that they go to the Acropolis Museum. The rest of us had a wonderful Acropolis tour with Anna, who was excellent. We then had an hour to stroll along the city streets and shop before meeting Eugenia for our food tour. She did a terrific job teaching us about Greek food and culture. We enjoyed the tastings and the lunch. We definitely did not leave hungry. At the end of the tour, we were driven back to the cruise port. It was so nice we having to worry about transportation.

We love food tours in new cities to learn from a local about the history of the area and to learn where to go and where not to go for meals, shopping, sightseeing, etc. We like them because it marries food with history and we find that is a great way to get to know a city. This tour was worthy of the 3 stars only because our guide was probably one of the worst we have had- and we have done food/wine tours in London, Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, New York, Florence, Venice, Avignon, and Barcelona. She was very cordial and kind. However when it came to sharing history about various sights that we passed, she was sorely lacking. For instance, we passed by one small church that a modern building had incorporated into itself and we were all wondering what it was- she kept on walking. Or she would tell about something to the folks that were near her at the front of the pack but if you were in the back, you missed out. Good tour; good food; we went back to HoeCut for lunch one day; we bought some wonderful olive oil at one of the stops. The meal at the end was good as well, although we had to choose from a scaled down menu. Guide- not so good; therefore, we missed out on a large part of the tour.

Our tour was fantastic! Maria was extraordinary guide. She shared stories and history of Greek food and traditions. Took us to spectacular wine bar, olive oil store, restaurants and had us taste some of the best food, I am not a very fast walker and I was able to keep up with the tour. Highly recommend any tour with Greek me.

We had a truly memorable tour of the Acropolis with our two girls, age 5 & 12, the older of whom is a mythology aficionado. Jason is a fabulous guide with a wealth of knowledge of the history, mythology and archaeology of the Acropolis and the ability to share it with visitors of any age. His passion for his subject, depth of knowledge and willingness to tell the girls stories or enter into geopolitical discussion with the adults made this a unique and unforgettable experience. We will never forget seeing the Parthenon and looking out over the birthplace of democracy. Extremely highly recommended.

Penelope was a wonderful guide taking us to four locations to sample Greek wine, spirits, and food. We had fun sampling the appetizers while learning a bit about each wine, then a hearty main course, followed by more small plates of local flavors. Our tour ended with gelato and/or baklava. All of the restaurants were very good; we found ourselves returning to one of them a second time during our stay in Athens. Penelope was very accommodating throughout the tour and very helpful in securing transportation back to our hotel.

Our guide, Ismene, was fabulous. We had a 4 hour Athens foodie tour which took us to 7 different stops around Athens. We learned much about the food, culture, as well as important sights/landmarks along the route. Definitely recommend this company and experience.

Niki was our guide and she was fantastic. She knew everything about the food and answered all of our questions. The tasting were numerous and plentiful. We learned so much about Greek food that we didn’t know and will change the way we cook at home.

An excellent day’s excursion, the pickup was on time and the minibus was comfortable and clean. Our guide was excellent, easily understood and imparted his information with enthusiasm. The scenery and locations visited were beautiful, the food and drinks were excellent.

Our guide, Rita, led us on a fun and educational tour of Greek food and drink that was an absolutely perfect way to spend an evening in Athens.
