          Outstanding Tour
This is an easy and comfortable way to see so many of these beautiful sights in one day. The tour guides Danae and George spoke impeccable English and were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Greek mythology, history and culture.

A Truly Great Taste of Athens!
I went on the small group tour for a Taste of Athens recently. My tour guide Danai told me that today would be a solo tour! The various shops we went to and savory Greek foods we tried were really amazing! Danai was a great tour guide despite having only me to entertain. She was very knowledgeable of the cultural significance in Greece of the specialties we tried. The afternoon session was a treat! Walking on certain backstreets was both easier and less crowded. I particularly enjoyed the mezze and people watching aspects of my time with Danai. All in all, she could not have been nicer!

Theo and George were great guides and the driver, Salvador, was a very good navigator. Both guides were knowledgeable.

          Fantastic trip!
There were only 2 travellers that day but the company did not cancel this tour. I was picked and dropped off at my hotel as promised. The guide was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. Altogether it was an unforgettable experience!

          Amazing Athens in a Day.
The morning tour visit showing the sights around Athens city centre was amazing. The minibus was clean and comfortable and the two tour guides were polite, respectful and very friendly. It was an early morning start-8.30am but I managed to get a perfect shot of the sun rising through Hadrians Arch and we were the first into the Acropolis which was divine as we had the whole place to ourselves and could get some fantastic shots before the crowds arrived. Victoria, our Acropolis Guide, was very knowledgeable and proud of her heritage and this showed in the tour around the Acropolis. It was nice to have a two hour gap between this tour and the extended tour to Poseidon’s temple as it allowed us to have a leisurely lunch. The evening trip was brilliant for the photographs of the sun setting at the temple. There was lots of Banter between tour guide and passengers and I think the Americans got many points, the Brits got just a few and any Italians would have got none! All in All- a fantastic, informative and friendly day to see the very best of Athens.

A great day spent outside of Athens!
Alex was our driver for this tour and we were so pleased. He was proactive and attentive to our needs as one in our party suffers from vertigo. The drive was smooth and he delivered wonderfully commentary about Athens and our intended destinations. His command of the English language is amazing and he is very professional, but also personable. Ms. Patti was our guide to the sites at Epidaurus and Mycenae and was wonderfully informative. We felt that we had enough time at the different locations. We were able to have a nice lunch in Nafplio and walk about a bit. It's a place we would definitely visit again. The day did not feel rushed at all. Alex did a great job with the timing and on the way back we were treated to more beautiful views. We would definitely recommend this tour and hope that you get Alex as a driver!

          Delphi!
This was an excellent day trip. The long drive was worth it, not only for the destination (Delphi), but also for the experience of leaving the city of Athens and seeing more of the locality and countryside. Our driver, Pericles, was a very good driver and his Mercedes van (a 9 seater I believe) was comfortable. Pericles explained some of the sights and geography along the way and kept us apprised of when the next rest would be and how much longer we had to drive. He was eager to answer questions that we asked. When we arrived at Delphi, Georgia was there to greet us as our guide in the museum and as we walked the site. But first, the approach to Delphi was stunning on this remarkably warm and bright January day and Delphi literally sparkled on the side of the mountain and the spring growth on the hillside was the most verdant green. Georgia was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the history of the site and the very interesting people/gods who were instrumental in building Delphi and how a strong community continued there for centuries. So much history! I’ll admit this: it’s a lot more history that I can retain! A day trip like this is long but because we were staying in Athens for six days, we felt that it was well worth the time, effort, and cost. The experience exceeded our hopes, as did Pericles and Georgia as our hosts!

I really recommend seeing the Temple of Poseidon - it is absolutely stunning! The trip was well organised and transport by minivan with approx 14 others was fine, we saw a few other districts of central Athens as we picked up others from their hotels. Our guide Teddy was very informative and entertaining - he built a great rapport with everyone. The hour-long pause at a beach-side bar was a welcome break as the weather was warm and sunny and some of us enjoyed a swim in the beautiful sea. Ocean views en route were wonderful and we stopped for photos a couple of times - at a lake on the outskirts of Athens and on the approach to Cape Sounion. Once you arrive, there is a bar that you can sit at or pay an additional entry fee of 10 euro to visit the site - the views of the temple at sunset were amazing - a real highlight of our stay in Athens . We really enjoyed having Teddy as our guide and he gave some good recommendations for eating out in Athens on our return.

Overall a great trip that I would recommend. Our guide Athena was very friendly and personable and gave us a lot of information about Greece and the area. She had some funny anecdotes and made the trip entertaining. All relevant information for the trip was very clear (length of stops, when and where to meet etc).
The stop at the lake is short and sweet (there isn’t that much to see), the beach stop allowed enough time for a swim and a drink/food at the beach bar. I recommend walking a few metres to the right to get into the water as there are only stones by the bar and sand further up to the beach lounges on the right which makes getting in and out easier. There’s an outdoor shower and two change rooms by the beach bar.
The Temple is in a great setting and we got there in time to explore, have a drink/toilet stop with enough time to get up the hill for the sunset. The views are superb and even though it’s crowded you can get great photos.
The drive back was quicker with time to relax on the bus and nap. We were offered free water on the bus.

The minibus seemed to have an aircon problem - it was very hot and sweaty especially during pick up in the city. We were not picked up at our hotel but had to walk to a nearby location - not a big issue but my mum isn’t great on foot and I would have preferred a direct pickup at our hotel to avoid it (the 7 minute walk to the meeting was more like 15 for my mum).

Fotis (tour guide) and Fotis (driver) were a great duo in delivering an informative, fun, and enjoyable experience. We got a great mixture of swimming time, great food and drink time, and spot on timing to view the beautiful sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. I definitely recommend anyone to take this tour as they've got it all covered for you for a wonderful afternoon/evening that you don't have to worry about a thing other than just enjoying the views and company.

Very disappointing and didn't live up to the hype. The tour could have taken half the time and been more enjoyable. The stops along the way were more fillers than anything else: 1. We looked at Lake Vouliagmeni for 10 minutes from a parking lot (and I never really understood that the lake was below sea level). 2. Another stop to look at/photograph Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon from a distance 3. Beach Stop was more of a 90-minute restaurant stop (at my expense) with only 2 people swimming.

When we reached the Temple of Poseidon, the road was clogged with buses. Since our "guide" was not licensed, we were on our own -- plus we had to pay our own entrance fee of 10 Euro. The Temple was nice, and the sunset was nice -- but it was very rocky, crowded, and as soon as the sun went down, we had 10 minutes to vacate the site.

This tour over-promised and under delivered for the cost. I did 2 other tours in Athens that were excellent so this one really stood out as a poor one.

Everything was just perfect! Alex and Lilly were extremely welcoming, informative and engaging. The Mercedes mini-bus with a seat limit of 15 was just perfect because it was comfortable, clean, AC’d and with blinds if needed. This group size is perfect because you don’t have to wait on a larger group to always make it back in time at every stop. The stops were just great and plenty of time to explore and take pics. I would absolutely recommend splurging a bit more for this experience vs. the bigger bus/cheaper way

I highly recommend the sunset tour to Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. It was one of the highlights of our time in Athens. The bus picked us up at a hotel that was less than a 5 minute walk from our rental. Our guide, George was excellent to say the least. He was very personal able and knowledgeable about the history of Greece and the mythology and legends. The ride took a little over an hour with a pit stop at Lake Voulagmeni. Personally I think this stop could have been omitted from the tour as you are only able to see the lake from the parking lot, although George shared some interesting information about it. As we neared Sounio we made another stop to take pictures of the temple from across the sea. Next we traveled to the beach where we had roughly an hour and a half to swim and grab dinner (or lunch for the Greeks!) at the beach side restaurant. The food was good, but the service wasn't the best and we apparently arrived shortly before closing. From there the bus took us up the hill to the Temple. We did have to purchase our tickets for entrance to the temple as they are not included with the tour. We spent a little time in the small gift shop prior to entering the archeological site. For the sunset you do have to be inside the site by 8:30, so make sure to give yourself plenty of time as the line gets long just before then. The sunset was spectacular and everything we hoped it would be. Definitely book this excursion.

We are 4 Canadians who toured with PGT tours, including Athens half day city tour, and a 3 day tour which included Delphi and Meteora. George was our guide and driver. He made the trip enjoyable throughout and was very personable, flexible and fun. A very professional and knowledgeable guide who went the extra mile to accommodate our interests. For example, taking us to an olive oil tasting. His organization and timing provided great opportunities for photo ops. We received valuable recommendations for restaurants, tours and places to visit.
PGT booked very nice hotels for our stay. We would highly recommend PGT as they are responsive, easy to book and are willing to customize tours. Make sure you ask for George!

        What a beautiful, relaxing tour.
Fortis and Pericles picked us up at our hotel, gathered the others from theirs and we were off. Pericles did a great job getting us safely to our destinations and back home again through crazy Athens traffic.
Fortis kept us entertained and engaged throughout the journey.we made a quick stop at a submerged lake for photos then continued to a small beach restaurant on a small bay of the Aegean. Time was allotted for swimming in the Aegean (I would highly recommend swim shoes as it is very rocky) and a light snack or dinner. Service and food was excellent.
Then it was off to the main event - sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. Fortis knows the best place for pictures just before you get there and played paparazzi for everyone. The photo is perfect.
Once at the Temple it quickly becomes clear how popular it is and how desirable a quick getaway will be. Fortis anticipated that and gave us clear instructions.
We had ample time to walk around and take photos of the temple before the sunset. Ah, the sunset, worth every moment of the journey. Sunsets are unpredictable, ours was spectacular. We enjoyed it most of the way back to Athens too.

        I highly recommend this trip.

I had done this tur before with another agency. It was very nice. This time it was unnecessary long. There was a stop to take pictures to a small unimportant lake on the way. After that we stopped again on a beach with 14°C to " swim" nobody did of course and to eat and have drinks at 4.30 pm.
Then we finaly got to Cape Sounion and they left us for 1 hour 40 min alone telling us to go to the cafeteria, the time of sunset and to visiting the ruins of Poseidon with out any explanation. The guide Danae just said it was his temple and that the graffity of L. Byron's name was there and challenged us to find it. We had to pay the ticket to go in 10 € extra.
All the way in the bus to the Cape she fid not stop talking about the differences of the food between Turkey and Greece and asked us to guess the real origin. Then she spoke about Mithology but nothing about the tour we were doing. In my previous tour the guide went up with us and explained everything. Finally we all came down before sunset to leave earlier because it had no sense to stay in the could wind with no explanation at all. The 4 of us found this a very bad tour and worse guide. Look for another agency .

They were on time, we picked up more people from different hotels.
The guide was very good and polite.
My only complaint is we did not have enough time at the beach. We ate dinner at the restaurant which took almost 1 hour which was the time given to us at that stop.
Wasn't sure why they could not have given us an extra 15 min because at the temple we had to sit and wait for almost 30 min for sunset .
Over all it was a good tour and I would recommend it
