Our experiences with Kivotos of Aegean Travel, specifically with our tour contact, Despina was nothing short of amazing. Initially we booked in January then a health set back was possibly going to interfere with our trip. That being said we had wonderful support and communication with Despina, who made us feel completely comfortable in what we were all experiencing and what the future of the trip held. We eventually got past the health concern and were able to go. In a world so intent on money, and at times can be uncaring this company exceeded our expectations.

Hands down, working with Panos was the best decision I made. I normally plan every aspect of my global vacations. A few friends recommend working with him. The entire experience was seamless. He was so quick to respond, worked to create a 11 day itinerary that met our every wish. The hotels were located perfectly and each excursion was fantastic. Having someone with expertise of island hoping was a big plus. All our transfers, flights and tour pick ups were so easy it made for the ultimate relaxing vacation. Panos even met us in Athens and personally walked us around for an hour. I could not have been happier. He even checked in on us during the trip to make sure everything was going great. We had an amazing time on this tour! Our driver, Marios, was knowledgeable and friendly. He was a local who grew up on the island and gave us so much history from the early days of Mykonos to the island after WW II to the 60s-70s when it became a destination spot to the present. He took us to common tourist sites and to other spots that were not where the tour bus groups go. We drove the island and then walked through the city, all while receiving an excellent education! Highly recommend Marios and this tour!!

Our tour organizer Panos did a fabulous job of giving us just what we wanted and even more. We saw and learned so much through the tours he arranged and got time to explore the islands on our own.

Right from getting in touch through the Kivotos website, we received a quick reply and a great itinerary compiled by Panos. We basically told him what we wanted to see and he came back with an itinerary with hotel options and travel options. Panos always replied quickly to any queries we had and was really helpful. We went to four different Greek Islands - Milos, Santorini, Paros and Mykonos. We also had a few nights in Athens. We went with mostly five star hotels and one four star. They were all great hotels with great views and facilities. Panos had organised all our transfers and ferries. We just had to turn up! It was stress free and so nice to know if we needed any help Panos was just a call away. He also organised a half day tour for us in Athens which was really worth doing. We got taken up to the Acropolis and the guide explained everything so we weren't just walking around looking at a bunch of old ruins! Panos also took the time to meet us in person on our arrival in Athens which we thought was a really nice thing to do and it set our mind at ease that our trip was going to be a great one! We would highly recommend using Kivotos for all your travel needs in Greece and beyond. They offer a great service and create a wonderful holiday for you.

So happy that three years I discovered Kivotos of Aegean Travel and especially Panos! This is the second Mediterranean cruise Panos helped planned. He arranged all the ground transportation, hotel (before and after the cruise) and the cruise itself. The car service was always prompt and had the same driver, Kostos, for all transfers, who was friendly and professional. Again, Panos made this trip seamless, enjoyable and carefree. I am very lucky to have found Kivotos of Aegan Travel and have my recent tour to Greece and Italy arranged by Despina. The tour arrangement and the itineraries were very detailed and organized. I also have enough leisure time to explore and enjoy the places. They have assigned very professional tour guides who speak English like a native. The transfers were smooth and drivers were professional and very punctual. All bookings, flights, ferry ride were scrupulously arranged. I did not face any single concern or difficulty in terms of mobility. They arranged representatives in every area or destination to meet with me to answer any questions I may have, Ms. Aphrodite was so kind and have even spent her precious time, showing me around the center of Athens and give her recommendations (restaurant, food, etc.). The 24/7 support is something I also appreciate especially since it's my first time in Greece and Italy, and was travelling solo. This was our first trip to Greece! Panos Zafiriou, with Kivotos of Agean Travel, created the perfect itinerary for our group! He made this an unforgettable trip! First, we flew into Athens and spent the day touring Athens, which was amazing and stayed at a beautiful and perfectly located hotel, Herodion Hotel with fantastic staff. The next day we flew to Santorini and spent 5 breathtaking days there! We did the semi private catamaran cruise, visited Santos Winery, toured the entire island and stayed in the most incredibly beautiful hotel, Volcano View Hotel, with the most gracious staff!! Then, we took the ferry, Worldchampion Jet, to Naxos where we spent 6 unforgettable days! We had a fabulous time and so much fun on the Naxos Cruise, went on a private tour of the island, went to beautiful white sand beaches, ate at many delicious restaurants with the most gracious owners and servers, had fun partying in downtown Naxos and took a cooking class at a private home and learned even more about the culture and lifestyle of the people of Naxos! Finally, we flew back to Athens and indulged in the incredible food, explored more of the city and stayed at the Acropolian Spirit Hotel, which topped the trip off, especially because of the very friendly bartender and the super talented and gracious chef in the restaurant! Recently returned from an amazing Greece vacation all made possible by Kivotos of Aegean Travel and especially Panos! It was the most stress free, relaxing and beautiful vacation we’ve ever been on!
