Babis out tour guide was amazing, he was very knowledge of all the areas as well as the history. I would highly recommend this company and tour. We have been on many tours in many locations and this is by far the best we have been on.

Our guide, Alex really made this tour a 5 Star with personal stories of his family’s experiences during WW2. Each village we visited we unique and beautiful. We literally ate our way thru the countryside with stops at a cheese shop, bakery and perfect local lunch spot. It was so nice to leave the tourist shopping areas and explore the lovely island of Crete.

Very nice wine and olive oil production tour. Our guide Joana was informative and very friendly. The introductions of the wines at each winery was very good. We really enjoyed spending the day outside of Chania seeing the countryside. We enjoyed the tour very much

We used this tour company for a carpe diem Crete day with our group of friends. They are super responsive and professional and helped us plot out our day. At the core, we needed to get from Elounda to Chania. Maria picked us up at hotel #1, took us to Knossos (where they retained a solid private guide) and then we had lunch/wine tasting at their recommended Dourakis winery (also lovely). It was a perfect vacation day. Maria was very kind and a safe driver. They also helped us do a boat day from Chania all around the southwest/west portion of the island - that experience was also a 10/10.

My family went on a custom tour that went from our hotel to the Kanakis Olive Mill, to the Dourakis Winery, to a small house at the top of a nearby hill for a cooking class in traditional Greek foods. Our driver, Bobby (hopefully spelt right) was very polite and extremely knowledgeable about the entirety of Cretan history. He guided us through everything perfectly and also showed us an interesting double church built out of the natural rock in a small, remote village, providing us with interesting facts the entire way. The cooking class was taught by a family which had an extensive history of their own, and Bobby translated for us and helped us through the entire thing, and you could tell that the family was very fond of him. I cannot recommend this enough, particularly if you are interested in Cretan history.

This was a complete surprise and not what we expected at all. Our guide was exceptional (Alex). Very informative. And we got to see another side of the region. Lite lunch was more than sufficient

Don't be an idiot like me and make sure you check where you're staying before you book. This tour is on the western side of the island. I am staying on thr east and drove 3 hours to get here. Fun but long day. Now to the actual review, tour guide was great and knowledgeable, and the wineries we visited and the olive oil factory we visited were really cool to see and I quite enjoyed it. Lots of laughs and we got enough food in us so we didn't get drunk from all the wine lol. It's a beautiful landscape as well My favorite had to be the olive tree, I am a huge fan of ancient things so it made me very happy to see it. In all I would do this again

We were going to be late( roadworks), rang them, they swapped pickup point.. no problem at all. Our guide Babis, was fantastic, his knowledge, maps, battle plans etc, were first class.. he bought it all to life , especially for me as my Grandfather had been there during the war. The visit to the collector with all his relics was pretty amazing. Recommended.

Very informative tour, Excellent guide in Babsis. Apologies if I spelt the name wrong. Very moving that so many young men gave their loves. So we can enjoy freedom of the modern world.

The tour guide was very knowledgable, worked at a great pace, and delivered an appropriate amount of information. She also gave options of things to do from a local perspective. Our driver was very friendly, punctual, offered great service to ensure we were comfortable, and also provided local “best spots”. Highly recommend!

The tour in the small minivan through 7 villages in the Chania area was fantastic, exactly what I had hoped for as a solo traveler. Alex was a very thoughtful, excellent guide who gave us a lot of interesting information that allowed us to get a more detailed picture of the country and its people, their lives and customs. The trip was very relaxed and stress-free, and the breaks in between with delicious local food and drinks were very welcome. I can highly recommend the tour and Alex as a guide too - best wishes to him from Switzerland! Hopefully next year again :-)

Very informative tour. Our tour guide, Alexander, was excellent, It was nice to learn about the history of the island. We Loved all of the stops, especially the bakery (Olive oil) . Lunch was wonderful. Lovely to meet other couples on the tour.

A truly amazing and interesting experience about the WWII-history of Crete. Our guide Yannis was brilliant and knowledgable. Together with Yannis we had an incredible day visiting many different places where events took place during the invasion of Crete. We got the opportunity to see both cemeteries, bunkers and museums. All together with Yannis vivid storytelling about the events, we got a very deep understanding about the history and resistance of the Cretan people. Excellently planned day with a comfortable vehicle and a stop for a complimentary sandwiches and drinks included. Could not have been more satisfied with the day. Thank you!

Battle of Crete Small group in a comfy aircon Touran. Yannis our guide was incredibly knowledgable and easy going, making everyone feel relaxed at the beginning before going into more detail about the history we were there to learn more about. I not only learnt so much about the Battle of Crete but also about the modern history of Crete itself. We visited a bridge, airfield and hill to the west of Chania. At the hill, and after exploring a British built bunker, Yannis took us through folders of maps, setting the scene to the Battle before going into detail about the key people involved and some of their stories. We then moved onto the German cemetery, visited a local historian who’s collected thousands of artefacts from the Battle and occupation, before stopping at the 42nd Street Memorial and the Allied Cemetery in Souda Bay. It was a lot of information to process, but as someone who’s grandfather fought in the Battle it was incredibly interesting, moving, and thought provoking. I cannot thank Yannis enough for conveying brilliantly the Battle and occupation. A day I’ll always remember.
