We actually had three* separate excursions with the Blue Dolphin team and all were excellent. A very special thank you to our instructors on the learn to dive experience who managed my panic and were incredibly patient with me and in the end made it possible for me to scuba for over half an hour. * Our two others were snorkeling trips both highly recommended.

Blue Dolphin rented me snorkeling gear including an amazing mask with corrective lens material! Gear was perfect. I was late returning (10am missing night before 6pm deadline) and all was forgiven.

Lucky was great with communication and ensured we knew where to go and when to meet up. The small overview in the beginning could be done better, but that didn't detract from the experience. Probably just my preference, but I would have loved more detail and explanation of the site. After the video and gearing up, we drove down to the beach, suited up, and off we went. I appreciated having the option to use a "shorty" wetsuit!! The water isn't cold, so the shorty was perfect. The water is clear, but sadly, it had significant plastic trash. I did see the employees (we had 2 with us) gathering trash during the snorkeling, which was very thoughtful and was noticed by our boys (14 & 17). Gave them something to think about and emulate when in nature themselves. I found it hard to imagine what the city must have looked like, that is until I noticed the road. That was the moment that it came together. Amazing to see and put together all of the Minoan cities that I visited during my 5 days on Crete. Well worth the time and the very long, early drive. Thank you!

I couldn’t attend due to a cruise timing error (the docking times were posted by our cruise and then changed multiple times the week of). They allow no cancelations, but also allow no appointment time changes. I got charged for 2 people for two different days when I requested a date change because of something out of my control. 240$ total for something I wasn’t able to attend then fighting us with our bank after receiving email correspondence confirming the double transaction was incorrect. If you’re traveling or there’s any chance shifting plans, pick somewhere else.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this chill and relaxing snorkelling tour. They were very accommodating picking us up from the centre of Elounda and driving us to the dive centre. Upon arrival they gave us a short and interesting presentation on the history of the site. We were then kitted out with wetsuits, snorkels and flippers before being driven to the bay by our guide, whose name I've completely forgotten, sorry! But he was a cheerful, competent and knowledgeable guy. The swim itself was such a cool experience, floating serenely on the sea. We saw lots of colourful aquatic life, swarms of little yellow fish and baby barracuda! Occasionally our guide would stop to check in with the group and point out different parts of the ruined city. Top experience, can't recommend it enough.

We got lucky to have Lucky as our snorkeling guide yesterday. Somehow I managed to book a date in October but Blue Dolphin Dive centre were very kind to let me change it and even put on an extra trip just for us. The short historical presentation before the snorkeling was very interesting and meant we got so much more out of the snorkeling and we saw plenty of fish too! Highly recommended.

Our guide, Yves, was fantastic. He began by providing an interesting and informative overview of the archaeology and history of the site. Also, he was excellent with children—very patient in answering questions. He prepared us well for what we would see in the underwater ruins. The snorkeling was a blast. In addition to the ancient steps, underwater road and ceramic shards, we saw a school of baby baracuda and many other aquatic wildlife. This trip was a highlight of our time in Elounda! Don’t miss it!

We really enjoyed the snorkeling trip to Olous sunken city. It was a great experience, we learned a lot about the history of the place and it was amazing seeing the ruins. Anika and Dimi were really friendly, helpful and professional. We highly recommend it and we would definitely choose then again in the future.

Booked the snorkeling trip spontaneous. It was really great experience! The team was very friendly and it was a really welcoming atmosphere. Our snorkeling instructor Adam was very helpful and kind. Definitely a recommendation, we would really like to do it again ! :)
