What a great day! George was an amazing tour guide. It felt like we were his family visiting from out of town. He made sure we saw all the important historical sites and got us mountain tea, olives and a popular Greek dessert called bougatsa . We were asking about olive oil production on the island so he made arrangements to take us to a family farm. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant near the waterfront that George recommended. It was the best meal of our trip. I don't write a lot of reviews but felt compelled to share this experience because it made our stop on Crete so special.

This is the best Taxi in Crete. They greet you with water. They make sure you are feeling comfortable. They charge you reasonable. They are safe and efficient. Also the driver was on time picking us up from the Airpot and from our hotel going back. Well done. I will surely use them again in Crete.

After reading the *5 reviews on TA we phoned Crete cabs after half completing request form on website - the site didn’t seem to cater for our Heraklion to Chania transfer. Received very helpful advice and confirmation of time/date of transfer at 10am The preceding day received phone call from Cretecabs to advise that there would be unusual traffic delays at agreed time, and suggested that we bring pickup time forward to 9am - which was fine with us. Following morning cab arrived punctually at agreed time. Very pleasant driver introduced himself and loaded our luggage. Driver spoke excellent English The Mercedes cab was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The driver (whose name escapes me at this time) was very polite and demonstrated superior driving skills - we are generally very nervous passengers- but we very soon felt comfortable and at ease. Thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour journey and would not hesitate to recommend Cretecabs

I reserved a transfer from Heraklion Airport to the Hotel and back for the third time in total. It was the second time this year (once in June, now again in October). Everything was fine so far apart from a little detail: On both confirmations was written that we will be picket up by the driver in the hall, he would hold a sign with my name. Both times the drivers were not in the hall waiting for us, but we walked all around the hall to find him, which we could not, and in the end we had to ask where the office desk of Crete Cab is -> Outside on the other side of the street. There was the driver waiting for us. It's not a big problem, but I'd appreciate to have correct information where the driver is waiting. This would spare us from looking and walking around with all the luggage looking where the driver is. And one other little thing: After we found the driver at the desk outside the hall, he did not have prepared the car yet by taking out the children seats, but had to to this when we finally came to the car. While waiting for us (we hat a long waiting time for our luggage) he could have done this alreaddy.

I ordered a transfer from the hotel to the airport, and the ride was perfect. The driver came on time, was very nice and polite, helped us with the luggage. The car was spacious, air-conditioned, and equipped with the kids boosters as requested. Overall a very good experience. Recommended,

After arrival at the airport, there was someone waiting for us with my nameplate as requested. He guided us to our taxi which was great because not obvious when arriving at Heraklion Airport. Driver was very friendly and the ride was smoothe. Could recommend it!
