Me an my fiancée went on this tour last summer and it was one of our highlights of out two week trip to Greece. We had a very nice guide and the journey was overall very enjoyable. The views at Cape Sounion are amazing and it was the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen. The same goes for the temple of Poseidon. This trip had a great impact on us both and we would for sure go again next time we are in Greece.

My friend and I took the Poseidon half day tour. The tour guide, George, was simply excellent and made the experience very interesting. We had a great time and took really good pictures. Overall well organised tour and would highly recommend! :)

We are 4 Canadians who toured with PGT tours, including Athens half day city tour, and a 3 day tour which included Delphi and Meteora. George was our guide and driver. He made the trip enjoyable throughout and was very personable, flexible and fun. A very professional and knowledgeable guide who went the extra mile to accommodate our interests. For example, taking us to an olive oil tasting. His organization and timing provided great opportunities for photo ops. We received valuable recommendations for restaurants, tours and places to visit. PGT booked very nice hotels for our stay. We would highly recommend PGT as they are responsive, easy to book and are willing to customize tours. Make sure you ask for George!

Nice trip - George was an excellent guide. Temple of Poseidon is very impressive and there was such a nice vibe as the sun set.

The trip was fantastic! The guide shared a ton of info on the way there about Greek mythology. Two short stops prior to the site were worth it and enough time to take a pic. The sunset view At Poseidon”s temple is a must to visit.

Getaways Greece was professional and provided comfortable transportation. The tour guide Danae spoke perfect English and provided fun and interesting stories about Greek mythology, history and culture. Their English. Cape Sunion is beautiful!

This is an easy and comfortable way to see so many of these beautiful sights in one day. The tour guides Danae and George spoke impeccable English and were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Greek mythology, history and culture.

Georgia, Fotini, and Alex were a great team! Georgia and Fotini were incredibly interesting storytellers, and it was interesting to hear Alex's history as a presidential guard (and his driving skills through the Athens traffic were impressive). The sunset at the temple was breathtaking, though Georgia assured us it gets even better. All them ore reason to go back!

We went on this trip with Alexander and Georgia. Georgia was a fantastic guide and I personally would have liked a bit more chat from her. The tour there was great with a couple of picturesque stops. The temple itself is in a fantastic spot, really great especially for the sunset. Note that the journey back may be slow because of the volume of traffic. In the interests of being constructive, it might be worth looking at this trip with an evening meal part of the way back to Athens.

This was an excellent tour both the guide ‘Teddy’ and driver were very good. Teddy in particular was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and provided loads of useful and informative information. The temple is in a stunning location and is a very worthwhile visit.

Our tour was incredible. Vickie was terrific. Debbie even better. Their knowledge and ability to communicate it such a way that all us understood there passion they had for their jobs and cultures was lovely

This is hands down the best tour I’ve ever been on. Riding in a luxury van down the Mediterranean coast to Poseiden’s temple was more glorious than I imagined. The guide Lily was engaging, informative, and kept things entertaining. She even helped me with food suggestions at the restaurant near the temple. I also get bored easily but not on this tour!! We were smiling and laughing a lot especially when I got distracted by the shirtless man by the lake. If you want gorgeous pictures take the sunset tour that leaves at 3pm. I’m recommending this tour to anyone who’ll listen! Thanks again Lily for an amazing experience.
