Kathrin was excellent guide in what became a private tour since it was just my friend and I on the hike ftom Fira to Oia. She spoke about the island, the caldera, and stopped to highlight many of the interesting spots along the way. It’s a must do for people who like to sight see on foot! You could do yourself but then you wouldn’t get expertise of Katrin. she ‘s awesome!!

Our first activity with Santorini Experts was to experience a tour of Thira with Agatha. We had customized the itinerary a bit, as we did not want to visit Oia on this outing. Agatha picked us up from our accommodations, and she was a delight. Full of history and great information. We visited the highest peak on the island for outstanding views, then to Megalochori, where we walked around this beautiful town. Lots of interesting stops, including red beach, black beach and windmills, and an amazing lunch. It was an awesome day. Agatha was a fantastic guide and great company. She is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, it made it such an enjoyable outing. I would highly recommend her as a guide, and Santorini Experts tour company.

Our second activity with Santorini Experts was to visit Thirassia Island with Kathrin. She picked us up from our accommodations, and drove us to the ferry dock, where we boarded the ferry for a quick crossing to the island. Great views along the way. A long climb up the stairs from the harbour to the town (not for the faint of heart) yielded great views (recommend you do this in the morning to avoid the heat). The town is charming and we walked around exploring, with Kathrin passionately describing the challenges these villagers face, and the history of the area. We then walked out of town, to visit the cave dwellings, since abandoned, and learned about how people lived in these caves until the 70's. From there we were picked and brought to a lovely restaurant for an amazing meal, then back to Thira on the ferry. Kathrin was a wonderful guide and great company. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made it such an enjoyable outing. I would highly recommend her tour company.

Really wanted to see some of Santorini from our cruise, but most tours said not accessible and we almost gave up! I emailed Santorini Experts and they came up with a perfect 4 hour, personalised tour for us! Kathrin was our driver / tour guide, she was the perfect host, made every aspect seamless, from pre-advice regarding the cable car, meeting us and dropping us off at the end. Our wine tour with El was the highlight of our trip! She was very knowledgable about winemaking in the region and great company in general. It was great to learn more about Santorini and spend the afternoon with a local!

Santorini Experts was an absolute pleasure to work with on our recent trip to Santorini. We were a group of five, wanting to hike from Fira to Oia with transportation back to the cable car after lunch in Oia. Kathrin couldn't have been more helpful in advance of our trip. She answered all communication promptly, tailored the experience to our wishes and was flexible when our number changed. Agatha was a lovely guide, so warm, friendly and wise. We didn't think we needed a guide (we really just needed the confirmed return transport) but we were so wrong. She made the hike so much more meaningful, and we learned a great deal. She even let me hang on tightly to her arm as we navigated a bit of a narrow downhill stretch. Everyone was on time, accessible and communicated exceptionally well. Highly recommend!

I contacted Santorini Experts to arrange a 4-hour tour for our group of 10. I explained that we wanted to see the island, learn some history, see the major sights and cities, and maybe fit in a wine tasting! A tour was created for us that met all of these requests. Communication with the office at Santorini Experts couldn't have been better. Questions and requests were promptly replied to, and directions for meeting our guide were right on target. Our guide Elisa was outstanding! She was knowledgeable, answered our many questions, and was a joy to be with. The van was comfortable and our driver did a fantastic job of drop off and pick up, since a couple of people in our group needed to limit their walking. We arrived by boat and had a fixed amount of time to visit Santorini. Santorini Experts made the best use of that time. I can't recommend them enough!

Booking the First Impressions private tour with Santorini Experts was definitely a highlight of our port of call in Greece. Kathrin made the booking process very easy and the lovely Agatha met us at the exit of the upper cable car station in Fira holding a sign with our name. The 6 hours we spent touring Santorini with our expert guide Elisa and driver Tasso were spectacular! We saw and learned so much about the island - a whole lot more than we would have with a large group tour or on our own. Highly recommend Santorini Experts!

Led by our guide in a perfect size group of 4, we had a very informative and spectacular walk up to Oia. The going was tough at times ( steep inclines and tough stone underfoot - wear supportive trainers !) but the small group allowed us to tailor the pace to allow for photo and water stops . The views are very special indeed and go across to the Aegean too . We set off an hour early at the guide’s suggestion given the temperatures hit 30 degrees and the walk ends at the height of the day . We needed all the extra water we brought as well as loads of sunscreen .
