- rocknrolladoll0 contributionsFair enoughIt was an OK day trip. If you know greek probably you could learn someting, about the caves and islands Paxos and Antipaxos, but if you are а foreigner it won't be the best experience. The staff don't speak English or know enough just to tell you how much time you will have before the boat leaves the island. However, the staff was friendly. I saw that a lot of the people said it was expensive - we bought our tickets one day before directly from the boat and we paid 25 euros per person, and this was fine, but if it was 40 euros per person - yes, not worth it.Written 6 September 2020

The ship itself was nice. Wide and airy. We went to a few caves and we stopped at Paxos which was just a small marina town. I can’t say it was fantastic but just a nice general boat trip. It did not help that the weather was overcast but that’s not the boat trips fault. The cost was €35 for a full day trip

The day trip with Captain Hook II was a pleasant experience. The boat was quite big, had enough places where you could sit for a comfortable trip, inside, outside, deck. It is simply better to book your tickets in advance because it is difficult to find on the same day. Also you have to go much earlier than the departure time to find a good place without sun!!!
The first stop in Antipaxos was to swim from the boat, a wonderful experience as well as the stop at the caves where the boat entered and let us swim there for half an hour. The third stop was in Paxos for three hours!! Here I have some objections to this three stars!!! Many hours on an island where we had no access to a beach for swimming!!! Also, all we could do in the three hours was sit down to eat. The food everywhere you went was very expensive, you couldn't find anywhere to sit... you had to walk up and down in the sun to find something worthwhile. Basically, Paxos is a street with all the shops, nothing else!!!! I would have preferred to be left with the boat on a beach flows for swimming!!! Also, the boat docked much further from the port in Paxos! About 1.7 kilometers!!! Which you had to do on foot in the sun!!!

Being mid Sept the boat was not so crowded as others have commented at peak season. Plenty of room to move about, good bar, clean toilets. Helpful crew. Difficult to hear any commentary due to music/general noise but scenery spectacular and water so clear. Swimming access from both sides of the boat/buoyancy aids available. Gaios delightful, plenty of time to wander around, eat/drink. Good value for money.

The service was poor, the crew seemed unprofessional based on their actions, they were rude and went for the money only. Waaaay too many people on the boat with us i felt really unsafe, the boat was definitely crowded or maybe overbooked. The caves are worth to check but definitely with another boat than this. If you would like to get a great experience while being on a safe boat avoid this one.

We are very sorry for your experience
But you were on a brand new, 2 years old (constructed in 2019) 3 million worth boat
With the highest standards of safety and quality.
Total capacity less than 80% that the authorities permit and you felt unsafe???
Really????
We are very sorry that you had better options at parga's port and you chose us!
Next time think wiser and go for a boat trip with the other smaller and older boats to feel safe.

We booked this cruise and went by the Vicky 11. Its not the most comfortable of vessels but it meant we were only planned to have one swimming stop on the trip rather than the two on the other boat. Neither of us are swimmers so this influenced our choice. We felt that it was a long day and actually pretty boring. The coastline of Paxos is very rocky and i wasn't impressed by the boat going into the actual caves. i didn't feel it was necessary to go so close. The main town in Paxos is very expensive as it appears to cater for the large amount of yachts in the harbour. We didn't think it was as nice as where we came from - Parga.

Really great boat trip over to Paxos via AntiPaxos and the Blue Caves.
Leaves 10am Sharp. €40 per person which is decent value. Full bar service but you'll save lots if you take a cool bag and picnic.
I was in Wheelchair but No problems whatsoever. Only thing...the Scurvy Crew might have interacted more with the visitors. That's just a personal observation. The Captain himself was good and almost made up for it.
All was really great including the 2 swim stops which, on a hot day, were a blessing. I'd recommend this to anyone really but if you want a good position seatwise you'll need to sneak aboard at 9am (onwards) and claim them. Which is not an issue. Enjoy.

A really great day out. Food and drinks available on board. Swimming from the boat from steps on either side of the boat at Antipaxos. This is Supervised by the crew. A little slippery on deck so keep an eye on small kids.
There’s also a chance to swim again in the Blue Caves which is amazing.
Last stop is on Paxos Island where you’re given plenty of time to shop and have lunch in one of the many restaurants along the dock or the town
Don’t hesitate to book. Money well spent.

Too crowded, music very loud. Time for swimming was too short because there was so many people. Time in Paxos was bit too long, there was not so much to see or do. The views were amazing, caves and lagoons is something you dont sentään to miss.

Beautiful spacious ship, full bar, several lavatories. Front and back decks with ample sitting space. Masks while in port and disembarking. Friendly crew. Opportunities to swim in Antipaxos, one hour, and caves 45 minutes. 3 hours stop in Gaio. Easy to get in an out from the water. Overall great experience. Certainly this was not the height of the season and we felt very confortable but in the height of the season it my be a little tight. I would suggest adding an hour to swim in the beautiful waters and reducing the stay in Gaio from three to two hours.

my worst boat trip experience... The beaches and caves are beautiful but there were a LOT of people on the boat with an agressive (and probably drunk) captain giving other boats the finger and generating dangerous situations while my family was swimming around the boat.... I do not recommend...
