      nice garden and view
the building is closed for renovation, so only the garden is open for public. the garden doesn't meet the standard of vesailles or sunsui, but still nice.

      Good boat trip
It’s a good day trip, boat ride is about an hour each way we sat on the top deck in the sunshine on the way out which was nice and on the first deck where it was air-conditioned and considerably cooler on the way back. Book the additional excursion to see the ruins, very interesting. It was also very hot when we were there and it was a relief to get on a cool air-conditioned coach. The lunch provided was also very good and all in the cost. You will have about two or three hours at the end of the trip to spend on the promenade and seafront we swam in the sea which is great before returning to the boat. Important to note that you need to switch off your phones roaming setting when the boat leaves Corfu, otherwise standby for some really sporty roaming charges when you get home, we got stung for about £40 with Sky. (that was per phone) Also make sure you take your passport as this is another country and standby for €15 ahead tourist charge for Albania. Prices are cheap in Albania, a recommended day out. One further point, you have to go into the building on the Harbour side behind the fence. You have to go round the front although when you walk up from the harbourside you are actually at the side of the building just go round the front and the trip to Albania is a right turn

      Day trip to Albania
It was a fantastic trip indeed but I very long day. I was picked up from a very suitable location to me and taken to the port. I went through passport control swiftly and boarded the ship. It took roughly 2 hours to get there, and I opted in to do the tour, which was about 3 hours with a buffet lunch included. We then had free time for 2 hours to explore the city and back on the ship to Corfu. The issue was on the way back. The ship was nearly one hour late to collect us, and once we arrived at Corfu, it took nearly 2 hours to get through passport control due to long queuing times and 2 ships loads of people arriving at the same time. Then, I had to get on the coach for an hour back to my hotel. Overall, it was worth it to see such a beautiful country in a day but be prepared for long queuing times regarding passport control in Corfu.

      Another Country Off the List.
Apart from getting another country off the list, there's very little else to justify theh 13 hours of your life you'll lose by taking the trip. Albania is pretty dreary, and apart from Butrint there was nothing else memorable. We stopped at the dismal Meditteranee Hotel for mid-morning coffee. It was truly the worst coffee I've ever had. Two hours later we went back! The buffet lunch was pretty bad, and the staff made it clear they weren't pleased to see us again. There's a lot of waiting around, and Greek customs on the return was a 45-minute fiasco. Butrint was interesting, but that's it.

Super location, clean hotel, but at best a 3☆ hotel, which is no longer adults only
We stayed at this very nice hotel with a superb location in relation to Sidari and the Amour canal. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful. Special mention to Lynda the head of house keeping. She went above and beyond and her Lancashire accent was a welcome attraction to what was an otherwise sea of Russian other guests. Without sounding xenophobic there was a lot of these people in this hotel. Obviously they have as much right as any other nationality to be there but they seemed very overwhelming. The hotel was exceptionally clean and very well kept. Rooms were as pictured and we had a river room with a pool exclusively for guests in this part of the hotel. Our own sunloungers and balcony however the pool was freezing. Maybe because it was low season but it was cold. We went all inclusive and this was a mistake. Breakfast in at least two days during the week had the house specialty SPROUTS, and carrots and finally green beans with sweetcorn. Yum I here you cry but no it wasn't. Everything was cold. No milk for cereal, drinks were just syrup based with water. Not good as none of the food was labelled. Mayonnaise was thought to be greek yoghurt next to tinned fruit. Not a good combination. Lunch was salads and pasta with anaemic chips, if your lucky. Obligatory tomato based sauce. Deserts that the borrowers would feel short changed at. Dinner bare in mind was a five hour gap from lunch to being served at 7.30 pm. Don't even think about trying to start 5 minutes early or the food police will reprimand you. Pork,we guessed, Chicken if you didn't eat it the abundance of stray cats would. 3% beer can be drank throughout the afternoon and evening. Good luck finding a glass any bigger than a thimble. So eating out was a must, at least it was hot and you could tell what you ordered. Luckily plenty of local restaurants. On the whole with the greatest of respect a 3 star establishment at best.

      Needs to be better organised.
Because I didn't opt for the hotel pickup, there was very little instruction. I was told to meet at the port authority on the right-hand side after entering the building. There was no signage or exact meeting point, and no one at the port authority was able to give me any information. I went through customs when it wasn't required. Luckily, my ticket meant that I ended up on the same boat as the tour.

      Totally enlightening tour
A rather last minute decision to try and see more of Corfu before we returned home - we made contact with Pachis Travel and arranged for a tour on our last day. What a brilliant decision it was too. Our guide Leonidas arrived promptly and we saw and learned so much through his knowledge and obvious love of his island and are absolutely in awe of his expertise in navigating the tricky roads.

      Corfu Tour and Guide
We booked a mini van trip For About 6 people to tour the Corfu tourist sites. The pick up was 09.00am and the taxi was on time but no other bookings so we had an English speaking driver and cab for the 2 Of us. So it turned out as a personal tour - fabulous day with great driver and tour guide.

      Great day trip
Had a great daybout, long and tiring but glad we went from Corfu. Sarande really does feel like Albanian riviera. The ruins we visited were interesting, thankfully well shaded by trees . Downside was not having much free time before catching ferry back. Our guide was lovely - Gregory and showed us where to get tri-leche cake which my hotel manager had recommended. Although it said lunch not included, it was.

      Amazing day! Would recommend.
Absolutely loved the trip! We got the public bus to Ksamil, (however would recommend renting a car / getting a taxi as the bus took quite a while). Ksamil was beautiful. Once back at Sarandë, we enjoyed a stroll along the front. There was quite a lengthy wait time at border control in Corfu but overall would recommend this trip!

Great if you want to pay 30% more for the same tour!
The tour was OK but really a fast bus trip with various places of interest pointed out as the bus rushed past. It did even slow for a photo opportunity and pity those seated on the wrong side of the bus as they wouldn't have even seen much. Rhe worst part was that we discovered others who booked via other tour operators paid 30% less than us. A total rip off and I do not recommend. Shop around and get quotes. TripAdvisor is a rip off.

      A good excursion
Tour guide alone was worth it. Ancient city is very nice and you get to spend some free time in Saranda. Lunch was also very good.

Great way to visit Albania but beware immigration queues
This is a great way to visit Albania for a day trip. The ferry arrives at Sarrande port where you have the option to remain in the town and relax by the pebble beach / waterfront or go on a paid excursion (€35 per person) to the archaeological site of Butrint. I would highly recommend doing the paid excursion. You get to spend a couple of hours exploring the site which is well protected and presented. Buffet lunch (vegetarian options available) is included at a restaurant on the way back to Sarandë. The buffet is basic but plentiful. Drinks are not included but are reasonably priced. Post lunch we had 90 mins spare time to explore Sarandë which was enough to see this town. The main issue with this excursion is that the immigration queue at Corfu port is diabolical. There are only 2 counters open to check everyone’s passports. So the queues end up being ridiculously long. We were picked up from our hotel in Gouvia at 0805, reached the port at 0820 and waited in the immigration queue for 40 min to board the 0915 ferry . The queue was equally diabolical on the return leg. So, yes, this is an issue with this trip but don’t think the tour operator can solve this unless Corfu port opens up more kiosks to shorten the queuing times. Thankfully, there are no immigration checks performed on the Albanian side. The ferry itself is comfortable, has drinks / food facilities on board and the staff are polite.

The captain and crew were great. The. food was good. I just thought it was very. average. overall. The boat. ride was long. The first beach was pretty sad if you weren't paying extra for the water. sports. By the time we got to our last stop no one even wanted to get off the boat. and. swim. Very helpful in finding transit but we felt like we could have spent our limited time on Corfu in a better way.

Had such a great day today on the boat trip. We visited three different swimming spots, which were all stunning and had few other tourists on. We were really really impressed with the BBQ, loads of food to go around and they catered really well to vegetarians. The crew on the boat are great, really friendly and fun. A selection of soft drinks was provided which I thought was a nice touch, with beers and donuts also available for a very low cost. I managed to also easily book a transfer from our hotel to Gouvia and back through the boat company, and the driver was lovely and picked us up with plenty of time. Definitely would recommend this boat trip if you’re visiting Corfu, it was the highlight of our holiday!

It was nice. We started at 10:20 and went to the first stop among the rocks. After half an hour we went further to the beach, where we stopped for about 2 hours. We also ate there on the ship, it was good. Complimentary water and juice are also available at all times. Beer, cocktails and the rest have to be paid for. I would like to point out that on the opposite side of the beach, Albania is also close by. The phone signal can switch to their network, which is expensive. Back from the beach, there is another stop between the rocks. We returned to the starting point at 17:20. There was a good atmosphere and music during the voyage.

What an great day on board the Madalena with Captain Spyro, Stefanos and the rest of the crew.

Start to finish was great fun, music playing and a bar if you wanted but we really appreciated the free soft drinks and cold bottled water that was available for the whole journey.

The views from the boat are great and captain Spyro was an excellent tour guide pointing out all of different landmarks, towns and villages.

We stopped at 3 amazing locations for jumping off the boat (even from the top deck!) into the clear blue seas.

Lunch time we stopped for a BBQ on a secluded beach, where we had almost an hour to relax whilst the food was being prepared and then we were called back on board for a very organised and very tasty BBQ platter each that was served with salad and bread. Tasty.

The return was a steady cruise back to Guovia with more music and drinks and one lucky lady was drenched in sparkling wine for her birthday - lots of fun!!

I would highly recommend this day trip to anyone visiting corfu. We had a great day.

    Thanks captain and crew!!!

I did a lot of research before booking this trip on Stefanos’s Madalena and it was just perfect! The crew stopped at three gorgeous swim spots. We were at a private beach for lunch. Lunch was a Salad, rice, and lamb kebabs or a vegetarian option instead of the kebab.
The music made the trip memorable. First Greek music then dance hits. We sang YMCA, Grease, and many others with our new friends from all over the world. The time flew by and it was simply the best!

I did this boat trip for my birthday and had the best time! We stopped at two swimming spots and a beach, all only accessible by boat. The alcoholic drinks on board were cheap and the Greek BBQ was seriously yum with generous serves. The team made me feel extra special for my birthday and I had the best time!

We arrived at the marina around 10am, set off at 10.20am. Food and drink were available (bring cash for food) throughout trip. There were 3 opportunities to swim in the sea. The second stop we were able to go onto the (stone) beach whilst the BBQ was being made. Spiros and family were very kind, helpful and enthusiastic. BBQ was amazing. Would recommend to anyone visiting (Be aware that by travelling north your phone will think you’re in Albania for roaming etc).

After an hour in a sardine tin (coach) we reached the harbor to find that we were on the smallest boat in the harbor with what appeared to be the most people on it. After near 2.5 hours we reached the area to swim in, to describe it ‘minestrone soup’ far too many boats in such a small space at the same time🫤 then onto a sea village which was also overcrowded & made a lovely place appear like a Moroccan Bizare😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 then the trip back to that harbor & another hour stuck in a tin van on wheels. All in all although €40 it’s rearly a day off my life I won’t get back

This trip was fabulous! The hospitality, the knowledge and the culinary ability made this our favorite activity we did on our island hopping week. The crew were engaging, fun and over the top making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. The island spots we stopped at were beautiful and we had time to explore and enjoy swimming as well as laying out on the beach. The lunch was delicious and freshly grilled to perfection. The cocktails and the awesome bartender added even more enjoyment to a perfect day exploring Corfu. We highly recommend this experience!

Stephanos and family were great! They made everyone feel welcome on the cruise. Everyone had a wonderful time. People were dancing on the way back. The music was great and every boat that we passed on the way back, people were dancing to the music on our boat. Met new friends.

Thank you for the wonderful cooked food!
