Wonderful day with Corfu Walking and Food Tours
We were 3 couples in Corfu for the day and Corfu Walking and Food Tours was the perfect choice. Our guide, Nausica, guided us through old Corfu town, regaling us with stories and historical facts while we looked at stunning vistas and beautiful architecture. We appreciated her take on the challenges and benefits of modern life in Corfu as our 3 hours flew by. The delicious surprise at the end of the tour was a fabulous experience in itself and one I won't spoil by reviewing here. Kudos also to Arina, at info@corfuwalkingtours.com who arranged our tour, she was so helpful and attentive to our needs. One of the best touring experiences of our trip. Thank you!

Ariti Katsarou was a class act and wonderful guide.
Ariti Katsarou was a fantastic guide. Not only is she very knowledgeable about the history of Corfu but she also shared her own experiences growing up in Corfu. Her insights into the people of the past and todays’ Corfu society was very interesting and insightful. She cares about what she does and pays attention to details. She is a lovely lady and a walking history book! My husband and I highly recommend Ariti. Inf@corfuwalkingtours.com. She was worth every penny. We enjoyed our time with her and appreciate the resturant and beach suggestions she gave us.

      Great historical walking tour!
We had a wonderful historical walking tour with Nafsika. She was informative and tailored the walk to the wants and needs of the participants. This is a family business. Her sister, Ariti, was super helpful in planning our last day in Corfu and gave us some wonderful ideas. I highly recommend this company for learning more about Corfu from people who are extremely proud of their island, it's culture and history.

Alice is an absolutely fantastic guide-so friendly and knowledgeable. Had several delicious food stops and then an excellent lunch at a traditional restaurant on a lovely, shady street. Yammas! (sp) Rob and Lindsey Jones

An absolute must if you spend a day or two in Corfu City
Elektra is a enthusiastic and very knowledgeable woman; she not only told us a heap of history and fun facts about Corfu City but also answered our many questions with great accuracy. Her English is impeccable, and she had planned the tour carefully. An absolute must if you spend a day or two in Corfu City.

      Quaint, friendly and delicious
We visited as a family group of 6, the tour was excellent, Nausica was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and we saw parts of Corfu town which we would never have found alone. The food was delightful, the tour overall is well worth the price tag

A good insight into Corfu Old Town
Nausica guided my wife and I around so many areas of Corfu Town which we would never have found. If we had found them, we wouldn't have understood their significance! She was knowledgeable about so many aspects of Corfiot history and events in the Old Town. The pace of the tour was perfect and we were were able to visit several unique shops with local produce. A thoroughly enjoyable morning and we would recommend Corfu Walking Tours to anyone.

      Great tour guide, Alkistis!
My group of 4 people took the Durrell Island Private Tour by coach in early June 2024. It was a fun and enjoyable tour of the area around Kerkera and the Old town. Highlights were Mouse Island, the spice shop in old town, and the event center used a set for the Durrell tv production. The true star of the tour was our guide “Alice”. Lovely and engaging, she had many stories and anecdotes about Corfu and its history. She also supplied wonderful suggestions about places to stay, swim, and eat! Thanks so much!

      Fantastic Family Day
An absolute must for anyone wanting to authentically experience the Old Town of Corfu. Our tour guide, Nausica, was fantastic. She had so much historical, political and practical knowledge that we came away feeling like we had gotten far more than we paid for. All businesses we visited were locally, family run which we appreciated and all welcomed us with open arms. We had 3 generations in our family on the tour and Nausica interacted with all and even adapted her language/loudness of voice to suit my grandparents. She really included everyone! Highly recommend 😊

Nausica was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable and very friendly with the store owners who also welcomed us like family. Would not hesitate to book future tours with the company as we were well looked after with lots of learning too. Thank you SO much for making our holiday wonderful 🩷

We booked this tour instead of the overpriced cruise line options, and I am very glad we did. Ariti, our guide, met us as prescribed and we began our journey through Corfu’s old town. Ariti is beyond wonderful. She provided a digestible depth of knowledge about the history of Corfu and it’s relationship with Greece and neighboring countries, and then proceeded to guide us through the maze of old town. We tasted LOTS of local cuisines, all of which were excellent — I highly recommend an iced cappuccino or ginger beer at the first stop if it is hot out! All of the food stops had great service and were delicious, and there are several stops. The sweet and spice shop, the olive oil tasting stop, was particularly great with a hilarious shop owner!

10/10 would absolutely recommend this walking tour. Many thanks to Ariti for making our stop in Corfu memorable!

We enjoyed our food and history tour of Corfu with Katerina. She took us to a bunch of local places, (some family run, with standing room only) which we wouldn't have known about had we wandered around town on our own. At one point in the tour, we came up on a street vendor with a stall in which he was slow-roasting ten whole lambs in preparation for a local festival the next day. She asked us if we'd like to try the lamb, and then negotiated with the vendor for a serving. It was impromptu, and great, and definitely not something we would have done on our own, because the vendor only spoke Greek, and we wouldn't have known how to negotiate with him, or that he was prepping for the festival. The lamb was delicious, even though it had no marinade or flavoring. All in all, we had a great time.

This was a FANTASTIC tour for experiencing the Old Corfu Town. We were met by our tour guide Nausica at the Old Fortress. There were 8 of us in the group, and she toured us through the town, with stops along the way for tastes of food and drink that are special to Corfu. The food was amazing and always accompanied by great stories and insights. Nausica is a resident of the town and her love of her special home shines.

I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting. We were in port on a cruise ship and it fit into our day perfectly. We had time after the tour to further explore and shop on our own. You do need to take a taxi from the port to the Old Town (15-20 Euro each way).

Amazing tour with Nausica. We did the private food and history tour. So much delicious food and learned so much about Corfu. With just our group we got to go to areas the big groups didn’t. Plus we got to chat with a local and learn details about the local culture. I will dream about that feta pie and tzatziki sauce. They were super flexible leading up to the day as we didn’t know if the cruise would happen! Quick bus or taxi ride from the cruise port
Highly recommended this when you are in Corfu

Great informative guide about Corfu and its food. Wonderful tapas as several restaurants before a full meal at a local restaurant. NO sales pressure at the stops - in fact, I had to ask for business cards so that I could come back the next day to buy items I enjoyed. Our small group really hit it off - we chatted (and sipped wine) for at least an hour after our guide left.

Our guide was so knowledgeable and charming, she is a history teacher so knew absolutely everything you could possibly want to know about Corfu as well as the whole of Greece! The food stops were varied so you really got to understand the local food. The final stop at a local restaurant included lunch and wine so altogether we were very full by the end! Would definitely recommend this trip, very enjoyable!

This was a very enjoyable and informative day in Corfu. Our tour guide was very informative about the history and foods of Corfu. We walked through the old town streets, stopping at numerous places for bites and ending with a generous lunch. Some of the food stops included a bakery, Corfu specialty food shops, a butcher/cheese shop, and a restaurant where we tried a delicious filled pastry. Our final stop was at a restuarant where we were served platters of pasta and meats. Our tour guide, Angelika, was very fun and happy to answer all of our questions.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Nausica, was amazing. We arrived 15 minutes late because we couldn’t find parking* but Nausica waited for us. She then took us on a half day walking and food tour of old town Corfu that isn’t to be missed. She took us down the many tiny side streets to expose the hidden gems of the town that you wouldn’t find walking on your own. She was a font of knowledge having grown up in Corfu and could answer any question relating to the history of Corfu and Greece in general. We stopped in 4 places to try out the food of Corfu, including a bakery, a kumquat liquor and limoncello shop, an off the beaten path spice shop to smell the spices of Greece and taste olive oils, and finally a full meal at a taverna where we ate the dishes made with the spices we learned about earlier. Nausica speaks fluent English, has an amazing and welcoming personality shown in her love of sharing the history and stories of her town. I would highly recommend this tour.
*if you’re driving and parking in Corfu town give yourself an hour in high season to find parking.

We had so much fun on this tour. With our cruise ship arriving at 10a they were happy to move the 10a meeting time to 1030 for us. Nausica is an amazing, fun, funny, personable person to share her home town with you for several hours. She then dropped us back off at a convenient swimming hole where we could enjoy a dip and some beverages at a local swimming hole.

Arita's generosity, hospitality, good company and wonderful insight into the history, geography, culture and politics of the island made this a trip not to be missed. Her knowledge of the old city led us through ancient laneways and the best of contemporary culture. The Corfiot specialties made our trip even more special.
