We went on this tour in September. It is a private and personal guided tour. We were picked up at our Hotel by the very friendly and knowledgeable Brian , who put us at ease straight away. We saw a different side to LEFKADA that most people don’t get to see.First stop was a working Monastery, then the very interesting Karya Folklore Museum. We then stopped for cake and coffee in a small village square, before heading up in the Mountains, stopping at a little white Church at the top of the Island with the most amazing views.Next stop was lunch at a Taverna in Platistoma , where Hazel and her clients joined us.We were served a feast with wine by Mamma.Feta cheese salad , chicken souvlaki , with the best home made chips ever ! She grows her own vegetables, how can simple tomatoes and red onion taste so delicious? Not forgetting her lentils. This was the highlight of our holiday, great value for money. We enjoyed a fabulous tour last year so did not hesitate to book our transfers to and from Aktion airport to Nidri. The cars arrived on time, were clean and in good condition. Drivers were friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you once again for making our journey easy and comfortable.

We did the island tour with Brian. Now called Bruce for ever more. He picked us up from our hotel in nidri and dropped us back later. We did the monastery the folk museum lunch coffee an cake trip. Bruce was a mine of information. Really knew his stuff. Full of enthusiasm and knowledge. Would definitely recommend

Bryan took us for our Sunset tour on Tuesday 13th June. Due to an unexpected closure of one of the attractions Bryan quickly rejigged our tour and we got the opportunity to visit Agios Nikitas. This was actually a bonus for me. We then had an adventure on some of the mountain roads before we headed up to the village of Exanthia. We drank cocktails at Fly With Me and ate dinner at Rachi. I’ll review both separately. Suffice to say we saw the most incredible sunset and enjoyed a delicious meal. Hazel collected us and drove us safely home. It really was THE most perfect evening!

Just returned home from a 10 night stay at Villa Nereus which is managed by Ligia Agency. Beautiful villa with what has to be the best view, absolutely stunning. No issues at all with booking or during our stay.. first class service from Ligia agency… especially when we locked the key on the inside of the front door on our first evening. Hazel was on hand to ensure somebody was with us within 20 minutes to get us back inside! Everything we needed for a comfortable home away from home stay. Thoroughly recommend this villa and Ligia agency.

Pre booked Ligia Agency before we arrived and they provided transport from Preveza airport to Sands hotel Lefkada. Driver didn’t really talk that much but all ok. Also booked an afternoon trip and had Brian as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable. We went to St Mavre but unfortunately the castle ruins were closed but Brian gave us the history. Carried on with our trip, stopping at Pefrika beach, the sea was lovely colours of blue & some kite-surfers. Next stop was Karia village we went into museum about a girl of 10 who lost her arm during 1910 & taught herself to embroider with one hand, but her stitches were the same both sides of the material, it was very interesting! We then stopped for coffee @ Lytrata which Brian said served the best cake & coffee! And very tasty it was too!Then onto Rachi restaurant for evening meal which was very nice whilst watching the paragliders. Then Brian took us back to hotel. A few days later I had to contact Ligia agency as our flight home had been cancelled and it was no problem to move our return booking to the new date. Very helpful agency would recommend to anyone

What a star Hazel is. We don’t know what we would have done without her. She was a font of knowledge. You couldn’t have asked for more. This is where where help is at hand and friendships are made. Thank you from all the family for your outstanding support

We visited Lefkada in September 2022 and found ourselves up a mountain in accommodation which was entirely unsuitable for my husbands mobility requirements. Fortunately we had booked a tour with Hazel on our 3rd day. She was exceptionally helpful and kind and by the end of a very enjoyable and interesting tour, had shown us 3 alternative places to stay for our 2nd week. We chose one and Hazel collected us and took us to our new place on her day off! Hazel, I can't thank you enough, it was above and beyond customer care. We will be back to see you. Take care. Huge thanks to Hazel and the team for all the wonderful wedding preparations organised for my son’s wedding in Nikiana harbour, then the subsequent weather ‘crisis management’ that turned potential disaster into a wonderful success. It was only thanks to you and your team that we pulled it off and Dougie my son, Kat his wife and me simply cannot thank you enough for everything that you did. You were flexible, calm, organised, positive….. I could go on…… and the tables were simply beautiful. If anyone in Lefkada is planning any form of celebration then you are the person to go to!

Having travelled in Greece for over 40 years, we found Lefkas to have a sparse offering of inland Island tours. So thankful we found Ligia, met Hazel & Brian and had a wonderful customised tour of the island. Views from the chapel on the mountain top are breathtaking - just stunning. Felt very safe on the crumbling roads in their care, rather than driving ourselves. We learned so many interesting facts about the real Lefkas but in a easy lighthearted way, rather than a history lesson. Brian & Hazel’s knowledge & understanding of the local area & culture is second to none & we can’t recommend them highly enough. Coffee & homemade cake in Faria, delicious lunch (best Greek salad I’ve ever tasted) in a quirky mountain top real taverna & just a fantastic day out - picked up & dropped off at our hotel too, no onward transfer buses. Thank you Hazel & Brian for such a memorable day - next visit booking the Sunset evening!

Last year we went on the Island tour with Hazel which we enjoyed immensely. Due to this we decided to go on the day tour which incorporates the archaeological sites and the archaeological museum of Nicopolis along with time in Preveza . Our day started with a welcome cup of coffee in a lovely setting over looking the sea . This trip is Brians’ baby and you can tell because his enthusiasm for the subject really comes over and he makes everything so interesting. The site is vast and it’s amazing that it was built over 2000 years ago . The mosaics are amazing. Brian then drops you off in Preveza where you have free time to do what ever you wish . An hour or two in the present. We wandered around this lovely town looking for fridge magnets and sat people watching whilst having a drink and light lunch . On your way back to Lefkada you stop at the museum which we found partially interesting. The whole day is very relaxing no rushing, you do everything at your own pace that really is the beauty of Ligia agency personnel tours . We’re hoping that they’ll come up with an idea for another tour so that we can have another day out next year !!
