Without question the most fun I've ever had on vacation, Swimming Cruise was a life-changing week! Poros Island, Greece itself is unimaginably nice, but then when you go out on a nice sail boat around surrounding islands every day with an Olympic swimmer and really professional staff, there's nothing like it. Lloannis and Ahrgalus were willing to do anything to improve the experience with utmost customer-service practice, they're just some of the nicest and most-professional people I've met in my travels. We got to swim as much or as little as we like, and the history we viewed while swimming, and also above water, was mind-blowing. I also was happy to know that it's very safe in the ocean in Greece, I felt very comfortable the whole time and by the end of the week was more relaxing on the boat than swimming, which they encourage! I would tell anyone that this is money well-spent. You'll come back from a 9 day vacation feeling like you've taken a 3 month sabbatical, recharged! 10 out of 10!

The Swimming Cruise was absolutely fantastic! I had big hopes for this trip - went there 22-26 July 2024 while preparing for my first Ironman which was on the 18th August 2024. The goal was to be able to swim 3,8km comfortably and I have totally achieved it!
Before the Swimming Cruise week I was really struggling with swimming - only learnt to swim a year ago so all bigger distances sounded scary and I hated water in general. Going to a cold busy pool in London multiple times a week was a real test of character. However, swimming in beautiful warm greek waters with an olympian swimmer by your side is something completely different - this is what you need to improve on your swimming! I was surprising myself every day - with the distance I completed, with the speed, with the way swimming can be refreshing, interesting and fun 😂 I was somehow swimming ~3km every day (something I have never done before) and did ~16km in 5 days in total, with the longest swim being 4,1km. I’ve never done more than 5k in a week so that was a lot for me and after this, the upcoming 3,8km Ironman swim had nothing scary about it. It really helped me to gain confidence and 3 weeks later I completed the race with a big smile on my face!
The Swimming Cruise is perfect for anyone - from novice to professional swimmers as you can be flexible with distances and always have a little support dingy by your side in case you need any of your emergency items, some help, emotional support or just want to go back.
Last but not least. The holiday was perfect and it wasn’t just swimming. We had a perfect time chatting, enjoying the sun and sunbathing on the boat, exploring all the best places and foods around, watching dolphins and sea turtles… everyone in our group was super nice and fun, and Ioannis is the friendliest coach ever! I have the best memories of eating Caprice chocolate sticks after the swim or Ioannis coming up to ask if we’d like a cup of coffee/glass of wine 😍
This is a holiday that ends up being both active and relaxing. Even though I swam every day and ran most of days too, I had so much time to chill, read my book and do whatever I want. I felt really refreshed afterwards and hope to do it next year too.

Hands down one of the best travel experiences we have ever had! Not only did my best friend & I get to experience Greece’s beautiful landscapes sailing from one mini island to the next, enjoying delicious local cuisine at sea-side taverns, hosted by the friendliest folks, but we had the best captain, guide and instructor at our side, every step of the way, making our trip beyond memorable. Whether it was dedicating for us personal or group swimming lessons in open sea water, snorkeling in clear blue water off the coast or out in the deep blue sea, making pit stops to visit ancient ruins, or enjoying the Greek nights drinking ouzo and dancing to local music, our trip was full of pleasant surprises, memories and adventures !!! We will definitely be back with our entire group and sign up for Round Two Swimming Cruise in 2024!!! Thank you “Cappy” Johnny for the wonderful experience, and for making us feel safe & comfortable!

I'm from Korea for a swimming cruise. The island of Poros, where the swimming cruise starts, takes about an hour by boat from Athens, so it's very accessible. That's why it's easy for foreigners to visit, too.
Stay at the cruise and enjoy open water swimming. Swimming in the beautiful sea gives you a lot of healing. Also, this program has a great opportunity for the Olympic champion to learn swimming correction and open water tips.

Full of lovely surprises to see and do and we feel honored to have had such expert tuition which improved our open water confidence and our technic. Your passion for swimming and laid back happy vibes made this a perfect holiday. We couldn't have felt safer or more looked after in the water or on the boat. An excellent holiday for sailing, swimming, snorkelling, relaxing, visiting beautiful bays and unspoilt islands, seeing ancient ruins and enjoying fantastic local food in the tavernas. Me and my friend had an amazing day on the boat, we swam in the ocean, fed the fishes, used a paddle board, and relaxed in the sun at the front of the boat! The captain of the boat was very welcoming and really nice to talk to. Thank you Swimming Cruise for such a beautiful day🥰
