Our 2-hour private tour of Copenhagen was perfect before it even started! Our guide James was in touch with us several days prior to our arrival to get information to help him really customize our trip and coordinate restaurant recommendations (and even reservations). At the appointed meeting time and location, James introduced himself, outlined his plan for our walking tour, and showed us a binder of helpful maps and lists that he had prepared for our use during the rest of our stay. From there we set out on a whirlwind tour of central Copenhagen that included great historical context as well as helpful practical information (about using public transport, local customs, days that sites are closed). The 2 hours really flew by and gave us a great orientation to the city to help us plan the rest of our visit. We could not have been more lucky to have been matched with James, who really got our 15th anniversary (and first post-COVID) trip started on the right foot!

We had the pleasure of taking this tour with Dalit (our guide) and I have to say it was special. We were greeted by her early morning 10 and had full 4 hours of the journey with her . She is a good story teller and we visited all the highlights of the beautiful city. Even after our tour ended , she voluntarily helped us plan the remaining of our vacation.

Our wonderful guide Dalit contacted us by email a few days prior to our tour to customise the walking tour for us. We met at our hotel, no stress finding a meeting point, and there was an immediate personal connection. Dalit was a delight, guiding us through both the historic and social components of Copenhagen, and taking us to some places off the tourist track, that only a local would know existed. The hidden gems of Copenhagen in some cases were the quiet parks, tracks along the canals with their swans and signets, or the eclectic book and coffee shops, which were a delight. We used the information and suggestions Dalit provided us with to plan two full days of walking on our own. We have used Lokafy in four European cities during this holiday, and as a regular traveller I recommend them, they provide a professional and very personalised service to their clients. To Dalit in Copenhagen, thank you so much for your passion and the detailed knowledge of your wonderful city.

I booked a tour with Lokafy on October 5th, 2019, my first day in Copenhagen to get a feel for the City, according to their contract if you are not punctual you forfeit your Payment, but it was them that didn’t fulfill their part of the contract by having me sit at the Starbucks well past my scheduled tour waiting for “Fabian” and then did not respond when asking for confirmation that our tour guide would show, I got a response 6 hours later. Very unprofessional and greedy. They refused my refund. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE!! You would think a “start-up” would bend over backwards to satisfy customers. There is a company (Sangemans tours) that meets at the “Dragon” statue at Rådhusaden that will give you a FREE tour!! They are also in about a dozen other cities, have other pay tours and a pub crawl. Fantastic company and PUNCTUAL. They are very professional and the guides are very informative. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LOKAFY!!!

We find your review very intriguing taking into consideration that we refund for any tour that wasn't successfully delivered. If it wasn't the case in your situation most likely there has been some sort of communication or technical error in the process and I doubt this is the case because we treat our refund request with priority and emergency actions.
So please, don't hesitate to write us an e-mail at info@lokafy.com with the reference number of the booking so that we can further investigate this situation and make sure you receive your refund.
In case we won't be receiving this information we will report your review as Fraudulent as it looks more as advertising for another company.

We booked a customized tour with Dalit Vilhelmsen through Viator. Once Dalit was assigned to us by "Copenhange Like a Local," she wrote immediately, introduced herself, and asked about our special interests. We explained our specific desires for the tour, and Dalit was very flexible about setting an earlier starting time ... and also expanding from a two hour to a three hour tour (at some extra cost, of course).
I especially appreciated her responsiveness ... unlike some other guides who never got in touch until the last minute.
Dalit was interesting and knowledgeable. She led us on a well-designed three hour walking tour through Copenhagen, exposing us to many sights we would never have seen otherwise.
Totally worthwhile, and I would gladly recommend her to anyone wanting to book a private walking tour in Copenhagen.
I especially appreciated her responsiveness ... unlike some other guides who never got in touch until the last minute.
Dalit was interesting and knowledgeable. She led us on a well-designed three hour walking tour through Copenhagen, exposing us to many sights we would never have seen otherwise.
