    Wonderful Tour, amazing tour guide!
Our guide Jacob was the best! He was both entertaining and informative. He taught us so much about the culture and history of Denmark, it was all incredibly interesting. It wasn’t some boring scripted tour, it felt more like friends just hanging out walking around the city….it was all very hyggelig. I highly recommend this tour and Jacob! 10/10

    Good tour
It was a good tour that pointed out all the sites!! We walked at a good pace. We would have just liked to stop at a street vendor to be able to buy a water or something to drink. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly !!

    Fabulous walk
Had a lovely time with Therese. She was amazing, very informative. Showed me so much and little quirky things like the bar where politicians frequent. It’s amazing how accessible everything is including barracks and royal palace. Totally different to the UK. I had the loveliest day . Thank you so much

    Walking tour
Jacob was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about Danish culture. The tour was 3 hours long and got to stop and try some pastries and coffee. Definitely recommend if you have a few hours to walk around the city.

I thoroughly enjoyed my walking tour with Oskar. We covered a large part of the city and he shared a lot of information that I did not see in a guide book.

One of the best tours in Copenhagen
Our tour guide was Jacob and we had a small group of wonderful people. Jacob gave us such a great look into the Danish mindset and culture , and explained more how daily life is.

    Excellent value and ideal location
We spent 6 days here and I think it’s been one of the nicest hotelsI’ve ever been in. True, it needs upgrading, but the friendly and helpful staff more than make up for any shortcomings. One of our party lost (or it was stolen) her mobile phone. It had all the information/contact details about a reunion some 40 years after the last one and there was no way we could access the information. Santiago on the front desk went beyond the call of duty to help us - he phoned, emailed, contacted people and did everything possible to help. In the end, all went well. The hotel has a very relaxed feel. Excellent breakfasts, tea and coffee available free at all times, very necessary after a tiring, sight seeing day. Alcoholic drinks are also available to buy. We could bring in food and eat it in the dining room if we wished. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. It is also very close to the main Copenhagen railway station - a few minutes walk, and a 10 minute walk to the main square. There are some really good restaurants very close by, as well as the Tivoli.

This was the perfect tour for us. Mie is organised and professional but very approachable. We enjoyed a locals view of this lovely city and enjoyed seeing the wee gems only a local would know about. We learnt a lot and a got a deeper understanding of Hygge and the Danish way of being. Perfect start to our stay. Would highly recommend.

Incredible tour of most of the highlights of central Copenhagen. The groups are kept very small so they feel intimate. I felt like I got to know my guide and the other guests very well. I was the only person who booked the entire day tour(which I recommend!) and the guide was so happy to just take me on the second half of the tour just the two of us. Kim is a very good guide and has lots of personal stories that relate to the City, as he was in the military in the Kings Lifeguard. The full day tour includes a free pastry or two (sampled at a cafe) a free Danish confection, and a free Danish hot dog( very good!). Kim also gave me plenty of tips about what to do during the rest of my trip to Copenhagen. Couldn't recommend this walking tour enough!

Our guide is a native of Copenhagen and he shared with us many interesting stories of his own experiences in the city as well as the history of the country. It was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this tour. It does require a bit of walking.
Cheers!

This tour was exceptional! Our tour guide Sarah was warm and welcoming as she walked us through key Copenhagen sites, explaining the history and culture of the city and its people. Along the way, we sampled delicious pastries, coffee and the ubiquitous Danish hotdog. Wonderful discussion as all our questions were answered, and Sarah made sure we left with plenty of suggestions for additional things to do, see, and eat during our stay. This tour is quite the value for the quality, depth and included goodies. Highly recommend!

An excellent day long stroll through Copenhagen with Christian our guide. He was obviously passionate about the city and it was nice to hear him chat not just about the history of Copenhagen (which he knew plenty about) but also his own personal view of the city and country as a whole. If you’re looking for a real life tour by a real local this is the tour for you, if you want the standard umbrella led guidebook tour, maybe not.
Yes there is a lot of walking (it’s a walking tour) but it’s at a gentle pace, with plenty of stops for Viennese pastries (Danish pastries) chocolates and hotdogs, which are all part of the tour.
Thank you Christian and good luck on tour.

Tour with Oskar was fantastic. This was our first time in Copenhagen and we wanted a very good overview of the city. We met up with a small group of 10 at the published meeting point to begin the day. The youngest in the group was about 30 and the oldest was us (74/70). The approximate 6 hour day walking through many of the significant historical parts of the city was fun and so well worth the time. The few times we stopped along the way for a snack made the comfortable pace even more fun. Oskar is a city native and is a university trained historian with a great sense of humor and spoke perfect English. He turned out to be an absolutely perfect guide for the day and made our 4 day stay in Copenhagen a joy since we spent part of our remaining time in the city revisiting a few spots we saw on the tour with him. I know we will revisit Copenhagen again in the future and I honestly can say that this tour with Oskar is responsible for our desire to return. I can not give him high enough praise and this tour company is very lucky to have him on their staff.

Christian took us through all the sights in downtown Copenhagen and even pointed out extra sights like the world's narrowest restroom and the extravagant stroget restroom.
On top of those bonuses he answered many questions about everything we walked past, things about the city and all of Denmark.
It was a great start to my visit to Copenhagen and I would recommend it.

We very highly recommend this tour. Jacob, our guide, and the concept of the tour were very special. The tour was an intimate and personal introduction to Copenhagen, the Danish culture, and history. He introduced us to Hygge, defined: a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture). He then proceeded to share with us Hygge in walking thru beautiful little streets and alleyways sharing their historical significance on the way to the grandeur of the palace, castle, parliament, the round tower/ (observatory), the Opera House, and much more with bits of history making it all so much more meaningful. We learned of the Dane’s love of their Monarchy and what the Monarchy has done for Denmark and the people of Denmark. Jacob shared with us the special significance of Hans Christian Andersen and the Little Mermaid to the people of Denmark. We are in our 70s and the 6-hour walk was perfectly paced for us with stopping for bits of history, a lovely Danish particular to Denmark, a stop for tastes of candy in particular tastes of licorice, and a delicious hot dog with all the trimmings. Truly, this was the best tour of a big city we have ever taken and much more than we could have hoped.
