Recommend a fantastic city tour of Stockholm, given by August (his name) at Amitylux Guided Tours, amitylux.com. He proved to be the best guide we’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing-his breath and depth of knowledge was laudatory and perhaps, most important, gave the group a balanced and compassionate understanding of Sweden’s history and culture. He garnered a diverse group of inquiries and honestly answered all the questions. He was personable and had a fun sense of humor. I only wish he could be cloned for other countries we’ve visited. Stockholm is a wonderful city- on all accounts!

Excellent historical introduction. Our guide Nalalie was great, very informative and approachable. Only 10 people booked and only 8 showed up so it was a nice sized private group. The boat portion was good in terms of what you see, a circle around Djurgarden, which again gives a good overview of the city with a taped commentary on earphones at your seat( comes in multiple languages too). Highly recommended.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, very kind, and gave great suggestions on what to do on our trip. his knowledge of history in Stockholm and Scandinavian made our trip special.

The walking tour takes about 2 hours and is not at all physically challenging - some small hills, crossing streets, cobblestone roads, etc. - typical "old town" touring. Our tour guide was fantastic, he had laminated photos he shared with us to help illustrate all that we were discussing and observing, he was very helpful and knowledgable, and he did an excellent job of setting a good pace for everyone and keeping us on schedule while still allowing flexibility for many photographs and a couple "quick dash over here" side trips to peek around corners. We all agreed we would absolutely take another tour with him as a guide. The boat portion of the tour was a pre-recorded audio guide that we joined once we departed with our walking tour guide (who led us there and ensured we all got on safely, etc.). The canal boat tour portion is not "private" per se as other groups and individuals do join that boat and it makes two stops along the entire route to allow others to join or depart as needed. We enjoyed the content and presentation of the walking tour much more than the pre-recorded canal boat tour; however, it was absolutely lovely to see everything from the water and we certainly would not have been afforded those views any other way. We would take this tour again (no regrets at all) and it's worth pointing out that the boat tour offers a nice little bar/cafe and bathroom on board.

We had a really good time on this tour. The combination of walking trough the old town first and then taking a trip on the boat was great. I really liked our guide, he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I definitely recommend this tour. It took about half a day and at the end our guide gave us a list of other fun things to do in Stockholm.

It's been a spenlendid exp with Holiday Inn Agra, I really loved the hospatilty of the whome team.. Aliya is one of the Chef, she is very sweet and lovely bakery dishes seved by her.. Even Muskan From front desk she was very nice and gave a good deal.. With Dhruav Chef it was a nice exp with him, he was very nice and his hospitality was very nice... Overall good exp with Holiday Inn Agra, Must visit this hotel.. Thanks Uday kapoor

Our guide was kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. We had a tour at 9:30 on Thursday, June 6th. I am on a walker and he took extra care to make sure I was caught up with the group. I really appreciated his kindness!

Bengt was a great tour guide, pointing out all the sights, taking photo of us on the tour and was really informative all the way round. Very friendly and was open to questions. Gave us a useful restaurant guide, we visited one of the restaurants on the list and it was very good. Lovely boat trip after which was again very informative and also relaxing. Would recommend

We had a great time on the walking/boat tour of Stockholm. Our guide Bengt was very knowledgeable about the history of Stockholm, Sweden, and the Kingdom of Sweden in general. His walkthrough of the important buildings in Stockholm was interesting from both architectural and historical viewpoints. He brought us up to speed with the current government structure and the history of Sweden's Royal Family. We really enjoyed the walking tour. He was kind enough to give each of us a really great map of Stockholm (all museums explained and identified) and his recommendations for good restaurants. The boat cruise was a nice way to end the tour. It was so interesting to see the city from the water and it is definitely a water city with its 14 islands and more than 50 bridges. You better understand the history of Stockholm from this perspective. All in all, this was a great tour, I highly recommend it!

Apart from the beautiful architecture..my guide was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the buildings and streets . The finale boat trip topped it all off ..a spectacular day in sensational Stockholm.

Walking around Stockholm and learning the history was interesting. Our guide, Bengt, was a nice man but unfortunately he spoke very softly and it was hard to hear him. We had a very small tour group of only 4 adults and we struggled to hear him. The canal boat ride was a let down because the headphone jacks on our side of the boat did not work. I would not do this tour with kids (we didn’t have any in our party but not for kids), and I think only adults very interested in history would like it.

Bengt was great - very kind and knowledgeable. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
