- RaedinB0 contributionsAmazing adventureWe had the best time with Tony! Even though it wasn’t a great day for fishing he made the trip so enjoyable. And maybe our sausages flew out of the trailer and got slimed with mustard but we all laughed and had a good time. And so what if we got stuck in the slush a little bit, that made the trip more memorable. Thank you for the adventure Tony we hope to see you on our next trip! P.s. we all thank you for the advice you gave us! It worked! 🤗Written 6 March 2024

- 247asham0 contributionsSnowmobile great, everything else? Not worth it.This tour was nice enough, but for the price wasn’t ideal. Our guides were great, definitely couldn’t fault them. It was just the organisation that lacked a bit. We spent a lot of time just sitting and waiting around, no instruction, no options, just waiting, the tour could’ve been at least an hour or 90min shorter if the timing was bettered. The activities themselves: -The snowmobiling was great, an hour is a perfect amount of time and the scenery is beautiful. I’d definitely recommend doing a snow mobile tour with this company. 10/10 for that. -Huskies, the dogs were super sweet, but it is a rushed quick get on, go around once, pat dogs then wait for the other 50 people to do the same thing (50 might be an exaggeration, but there were definitely too many for the time slot which is why there was so much waiting around). There was no information on the huskies given, and it wasn’t a very enjoyable part of the tour. -Reindeer, same as huskies, quick on and off the sleigh and go wait in this cabin (granted, hot drinks and cookies by the fire was good as it was a chilling -23°C). There wasn’t any interaction with the reindeer. We did get information about them at this section though, so better than the husky experience. -Santa’s village, look, if you’re not obsessed with Christmas, this is just boring. It’s very expensive shopping only. 2hrs here is not needed, it takes 10-15min to wander the village. So unless you’re waiting in line for a €30 photo with Santa or getting lunch, it’s really not worth it. So, this tour was ok. But personally, I wouldn’t recommend it in its entirety, I’d stick with just snowmobiling here. Maybe if the number of participants is lower it’d be better? Just felt like a lot of money for a lot of sitting around.Written 8 February 2024
- rhollis19990 contributionsGreat price! This was great value for money compared to some of the more expensive ones. Had 30mins of driving each and a break in the middle to play with the snow.Written 4 February 2024
- aineo9510 contributionsExperience of a life timeThis was an experience of a lifetime. Was well worth the time and money. Our tour guides Lamjed (Dane) and Jack (Scouser) were amazing, they made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, they explained different ways they track the northen lights, they brought us to many different spots but the view on the frozen lake was breathtaking. Both of us had our drivers license with us so once we both filled in the paperwork we were allowed swap/take turns driving throughout the excursion. During our pit stop we stopped in a little hut where they made a fire, had a warm drink, cookies and marshmallows we could roast over the fire while waiting for a glimpse of the northen lights. Both the lads were full of chat and were very happy to share their experiences of being in Finland as neither are from there. They were happy to take photos of you and to even show you the best way to get the perfect photo on your phone. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is thinking of doing it, it’s a memory you will never forget.Written 24 January 2024

- MatthewSHughes20 contributionsExcellent experience worth every penny. Reindeer, Huskies & Snowmobiles in one go! One minor frustration.Wonderful trip, especially for those who are short on time or want to make their budget go further. All 3 main Lapland experiences in one excursion. We would absolutely do this again and would recommend to anybody else. Our pick-up location was the Rovaniemi City Office at 10:15 ... we left promptly with other groups on our tour by minivan to the Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park centre in Santa Village. We then got into our winter overalls which keep you very warm and dry. Boots, balaclavas & mittens are also available. The changing room is very small for the number of guests changing at any one time. You do have to squeeze past one another and find a spare corner of space to change. We were advised that we'd be doing Reindeers & Huskies first and snowmobile later. As we were two adults, we requested the Single Rider Supplement option for the snowmobiles and were reassured "Yes, sure, no problem. No need to pay now, we can arrange later.". Off we were whisked a further 10 mins away to the Reindeer & Husky farm. The scenery is spectacular. Everything you imagine of Lapland. The lap of the 500m reindeer loop takes around 4/5 minutes and is done is groups of c. 12 people (6 pairs). Other groups on other excursions will also be here at the same time so do be prepared to wait a short while. We needed around 6/7 reindeer loops to get through everyone in the group. This wasn't too much problem as we were admiring the scenery but do be prepared to wait. After reindeers its a short walk through the forest to the Huskies. There are a few pens with puppies you can see and stroke whilst you wait for your turn on the husky sled. This is done in just single pairs but takes only about 30 seconds to complete the full 800m loop. Very, very quick. We had already knew to expect this to be quick but hadn't quite anticipated how quick it would feel. After huskies we went into a hut for a talk with a local Sami reindeer herder and had some cookies and warm juice. All very nice and a pleasant experience. We were then taken back to the Santa Village location for snowmobiling. We were very quickly given our helmets and told to assemble out back ready to walk to the snowmobiles. When we arrived the vehicles are waiting for you. I asked about the "Single Rider" option I had been reassured on earlier and the guides said they had not been informed and it was no longer possible as the vehicles need to be warmed up before being taken out. No flexibility at this point and we had to settle for dual-rider. This was the only disappointment of the day but it did not detract from the experience. In total the journey to and from the stopping/driver change location is about 1 hour total. The scenery, especially near to the stop site is absolutely spectacular. You feel in complete wilderness. Nothing touristy or commercialised about it. After snowmobiling we were given a full 2 hours to explore Santa Village before our ride back to Rovaniemi which left on time. (We were waiting on another 2 late guests but one of the guides kindly found us a space in another vehicle). All in all - excellent trip that I'd absolutely do again. Very friendly and informative guides and efficient transfers. The only room for improvement would be to implement a more robust system to acknowledge guests who want to do single-rider on the snowmobiles, better staggered groups so less people are trying to change at any one time and a double-loop on the Husky sleds. Well deserved 4.5/5 stars! Great value for time and money.Written 23 January 2024

- Travelling_lady_20110 contributionsAdvertised as small group but more than 50 people showed upI took part in the Arctic Circle Highlights by Snowmobile tour in December 2023, which promised a small group visit to a reindeer and husky farm with rides, snowmobiling and a visit to the Santa Claus village. I was quite disappointed with the tour and the impression I got was that Arctic Snowmobile Park is motivated by greed. The issues that I experienced: 1. The website promises a small group. We were picked up by our tour guide and then left to the reindeer husky farm as a group of 8. When we arrived a charter bus of over 50 tourists arrived and these tourists were handed over to our guide. So far from a small group experience... 2. We had to queue for an hour for the reindeer ride and the husky ride due to group size (2 hours of queueing in total). I think this is unacceptable when we had paid 229€ per person in advance for a more exclusive experience. 3. We arrived back at the Santa Village at 4pm instead of 2pm as promised, which left us no time to look around. In short, I would have never booked this if I had known the size of the group. Advertising a small group tour which actually consists of over 50 people and still charging over 200€ per person for it is simply dishonest.Written 12 January 2024

The reindeer ride was good and the guide then talked us through information on the reindeers and their habitat. Very informative. The husky bit however not so great. There was too many people all squeezed into the trip which meant people had to share sleds with others, which wasn’t specified on the booking. It was annoying as I was so excited about the trip to be sat towards the back not really getting the view of the ride. Plus it meant with such a big group you were waiting for ages in the cold. Also as we were at the end of the queue the husky’s look knackered. I think If you are happy to stand around for a long period of time and if you are in a group it’s not so bad as you can all go together but personally I would book a separate ride next time to get a better experience! Would I recommend to friends? The reindeer bit yes. Not the husky part I don’t think it’s worth the money! Free time in Santa Claus village good & pick up and transfer ok.

Dear Abby,
Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We try to divide the groups in such a way that the waiting times are as short as possible, but in high season the waiting times can still sometimes be longer than expected. During the waiting time, we try to offer something for the younger ones, such as sledging. We are always trying to develop our activities so we appreciate your honest feedback.

An amazing experience for at least one time in life with your kids . We had a short ride with the reindeers in Santa's village since we didn't booked in advance anything before our arrival there but we were satisu with that too . I recommend to everyone who's visiting Santa Claus village to not skip the ride ...any reindeer ride .

Honestly, this was the best trip we done. The tour & drivers were absolutely outstanding with everything. We had our 1 year old with us so times can be a little stressful and these guys made sure it was stress free and enjoyable for everyone.
The reindeers were great, it was so interesting learning about them and understanding more about them and the owners.
The huskies were also great, it’s amazing how they hardly try yet zoom you around on the sledge.
Santa Claus Village was a perfect way to finish the day, where you could have a look around, doing a bit of shopping and really feel like you’re in a Christmas film.
(If you have young children and worried on what trip to do, pick these guys. They really look after you!)

This was one of the activities I looked forward to the most; meet the 2 most famous Arctic animals, you simply have to experience this during your visit to Finnish Lapland. Driving the reindeer and huskies is a lot of fun to do, especially the reindeer because you can drive them yourself and get a driver's license. And the huskies are just so cute and fast! On both animals, you will have free time to meet them, after which you take a ride with them. With the huskies, you get extra cuddle time, and with luck, you can also visit the puppies. After each ride, you can warm up with a snack and drink by a fire, where extra information is given about having a reindeer and husky farm in Finland, very interesting! A huge plus is that the farm is a real authentic Finnish farm, with a lot of charm. In retrospect, I would have liked to experience longer rides with the animals, which is certainly possible as the organization offers a different kind of activity. So this is definitely for my next visit. This activity is a nice introduction. After the visit to the Arctic animals, you will stop at Santa Village where you will have 2 hours of free time to visit Santa Claus or the many nice souvenir shops. This is nice to take with you during your stay in Finland. Without a doubt, this activity makes for a very fun day, also thanks to the very friendly guides including Natasha and the very friendly people of the farms.

An experience we will definitely do again next time we visit Rovaniemi. Our guide, Alex from Spain, was super nice and thoughtful. We got to see the reindeers and a reindeer sleigh ride, good lunch, husky sleigh ride and 2 hours in the Santa Claus village (where we chose to go and meet Santa). We were provided winter clothes and boots by the organizers which I thought was super nice. Even though the weather was a bit too warm for this period and not that much snow, we still had a great time!

Dear Bogdan M,
We are sorry to hear your experience with us didn’t go as expected. As specified in the activity description, the reindeer ride is 500m and the husky ride is brief as husky run rather fast. Lapland is a popular destination in the Christmas and New Year holidays and places can get busy. Unfortunately, you came at the busy time and waiting time is to be expected. While waiting for the husky sledge ride, kids can play in the snow and you can ask questions about the huskies or the region to your guide so the waiting time is not boring. While waiting for the reindeer ride, you can pet the reindeers that are nearby.
We hope you will visit Lapland again, and maybe you could enjoy a longer time for the sleigh rides with our Husky Long Trail Adventure (7-10 km) or the Traditional Reindeer Farm Visit with Sledge Ride where you can be the driver yourself.

Great experience and many thanks to Marcus for being an attentive guide. He looked after us well and even became my little sons hero helping free him from his snow suit where the zip became stuck when he was desperate for the toilet. Lovely experience. Thoroughly recommended.
